Endesha had so far managed to avoid the fighting and had been circling, predatory, to watch as the elephant thrashed about in anger, knocking some unlucky fellows aside. Her eyes flashed across he faces of those closeby, seeking ones that were familiar amongst the chaos.
She'd lost sight of An and Jemadari and even her brother during her stalking and when the elephant made to attack again (clearly not willing to give up) she darted sharply to the right, finally ready to make her move. With the bloody gashes marring his hide he was certain to be in pain and clumsy because of it. Endesha had not been prepared to move before now.
And then as it came charging again she saw a number of her fellows get tossed aside like leaves--
--And others rising to claim their prey.
She surged towards it, faltering only when she saw her brother rise to take on the huge, lumbering monster. And Amali was there, grip strong, and seeing it gave her heart. With a fierce snarl, she launched herself up and hooked on with her claws, giving a savage shake of her head when her teeth closed upon thick, grey hide.

The log was lifted and Bluu immediately darted in to drag out the unconscious cheetah. She had no time to enjoy the victory before the elephant was upon them. Nimble and quick, she avoided the elephant initial charge, but made no effort to join the attack. She could feel her heart racing and an emotion very close to panic, but stubbornly told herself to calm down. The elephant was big and powerful - but she was fast. She stood her ground until the last moment before darting to the side. Ha!
Ndege got lost in the chaos of the fight, mostly trying to stay clear of the elephant's rampage. "Lani!" she called. She could see the other female and started to run towards her, but was interrupted by the elephant's charge. She ran to the side, narrowly missing getting trampled. With a growl she turned to face the elephant, waiting for an opening.
For his part, Ed'Garde stayed in the trees, staying well out of the elephant's way and waiting for an opening.

If the elephant had been in a rage before, having his charge slowed to a stop was almost maddening. Just like the previous attack, for every strike he landed the attackers rose to the challenge. For every lion he tossed, another bit down on his feet. Sheer numbers ensured this was not like any of the other fights he had entered in, easily overpowering unwitting travelers by size alone.
Snorting in anger, the elephant slowed to prevent serious damage to his legs. He swung around a few times to try and grab some of the attackers, but all seemed just out of reach. His frustration was evident, but he wasn't quite done either. His size was a great advantage, and even winded and bloody he was hardly ready to simply roll over and die.
The monster slowly swung his head like a pendulum, clearly thinking. Then he moved with a sudden burst of life, smashing his feet down to try and catch Haki and Amali. It failed, but gave him an idea. He swung his trunk and head out, smashing against one of the trees, toppling it down in one quick snap.
"Look out!" Veru yelled, his voice still raw.

1. You dodge the main trunk of the tree, but one of the branches slams you to the ground.
2-4. You dodge the tree and go on the attack.
5. You dodge the falling tree, and manage to get up underneath the elephant in the commotion.

For the entire time the elephant swung about, Haki refused to lose his grip on the leg. For fear was taking another toll on the poor boy. "Look out!" He heard someone shout, which was what convinced the jackal to jump off the elephant back onto soild gound.
Well, sort of.
Granted it was ground and not elephant, but that didn't mean he was away from the beast. In fact, he was under the bull. Wonderful, just what Haki wanted.
Well, if he was say, as tall as lion, he might be thankful, for then he could jump up from under the bull and attack his belly. However, this was not the case, poor Haki was too short to do much than dodge the elephant's constant feet pounding on the earth. At least dodging would keep him alive for now though, and as far as Haki was concerned, that was a good enough deal for anyone.

Margulis shouted as the tree came down, dashing out of the way as it crashed down behind her heels. Now she was beginning to get angry. Her head spun from the effort, her vision going in and out. She didn't need to see very well to know where the beast was. She could smell the blood now, taste it on the tip of her tongue. Snarling she charged forward, yellow eyes flashing with a rage she hadn't let loose since before she had become ill. In a way she enjoyed this challenge, it brought out her old self, but that prospect also frightened her. This was all coming to an end soon, for either them or the beast, and whatever came up on the other side would be in shambles.

Pam was still shaking his head with an expression of deep concentration as the attack went on. He could hear shouts around him – one of which he was almost certain had been directed at him – as soon enough he recovered from the hit and stood firmly. The massive beast was now using tree to attack and Pam made around for it, dodging the tree and circling the elephant. Attack from behind, go for the legs or back. That was what they’d talked about before, was it not? Somehow, that was the only thing that Pam found in his mind at that moment.
You’re going down, he thought as he growled and lunged at elephant with claws unsheathed.

Mura jumped away from the elephant, wondering what it's next plan was. She stuck near others when she noticed how its trunk was moving. Her thoughts were on what his next move was going to be.
She saw the trees starting to fall. Her instincts kicked in and was able to dodge. Mura watched others dodge the trees and branches. She knew if any tress fell on her companions that would mean serious trouble for them. She turned toward the elephant, claws out and ready to attack. Hopefully others would be ready to on the defensive.

Though he could not be shaken off immediately, the thunderous crack of the tree being knocked over got his attention and he let go. He couldn't do much more from where he had grabbed before, anyway, and though he stumbled back on instinct to avoid the tree, he moved forward again to keep going.

Unfortunally for the leopardess, she had still followed the elephant in case an opening showed itself to her. This was bad because the tree she had lept in was the one that the elephant had sent hurrling towards the ground. She made a quick effort to leap out of the tree and onto another. Extending her claws, she reached for the branch of the next tree over, but missed. Her claws merely scratched the surface of the truck before she was sent plumpiting towards the ground as well.
She landed with a very painful sounding thud, and was unable to move her body for three seconds. But three seconds was almost enough, almost enough to have the elephant stomp on her. She had quickly reacted, and instead rolled out of the way, half-crawling to the sidelines in the process.

Shari gasped as the tree fell. She leapt out of the way and as soon as she was clear she was on her feet and ready to attack the bull elephant. They were taking it down slowly but they were managing to gain on him.

Baatar had finally managed to pull himself together after a few minutes, the blood was still pounding in his head but the blurred vision had faded and everything had returned to near brilliant focus. He was still in a lot of pain but the sight of the bull becoming even more enraged spurred him on. As the elephant swung again trees began to fall. He had his wits about him this time however and managed to dodge the falling foliage and roared, baring his teeth and heading straight for the elephant. He dug both his teeth and claws into the first part of it he came into contact with. That, was more like it. His body groaned at the movement of his injured limbs but he pushed all his force into his attack.

There was no time to ensure that the scarred lion got to his paws, though, for soon trees were crashing! Startled, she swung around, staring in awe at the craziness this huge monster was capable of. Time to get back of the offensive! However, as she dashed up, one of the trees came toppling towards her. With a snarl she lunged towards the elephant rather than away. As a consequence, she avoided the entire tree, and was near enough to begin her assault once more. With a vengeance she threw herself at the tough hide, trying to reach the softer skin of ears or belly. His ears were already pretty torn up from previous battles, so she wasn't sure how much affect this would have, but surely something was better than nothing!

“Oh no,” Tahir whispered, eyes wide. The tree began to fall toward him. His body fell stiff with fear. He couldn’t move. Paralyzed to the spot. He had to… he had to… With a scream of fright, Tahir lurched forward and dove under the falling branches. All he could see was black and specks of green at the corner of his vision. He raced quickly, unsure of where he was headed, desperately needing to get out of harm’s way.
Lady Luck was not on his side
He skidded to a halt, panting with exhaustion. It was dark. Noise everywhere. Heavy breathing. Smelled of blood and fear. Tahir glanced upward.
“No. No no no.”
He’d managed to trap himself between the elephant’s pillar-like legs and was staring straight up at its giant belly.
“I’m going to die.”

“Ndege!” Lani heard the other wild dog answer her call. She rose up on her hind legs, trying to get a better view, and spotting the black and white female not too far off. But a few feet mind as well be miles out here. She spotted an opening between the elephant and Ndege and raced forward to take it. Her long legs carried her swiftly over the muddy ground. She leapt and bounded. Almost there, almost there…
The tree came crashing down toward her.
Lani yelped and scrambled back. But she was fast, agile, and she managed to spin out of the way of the falling trunk.
“This is enough!” she cried, voice full of pain,” Enough!” She gripped the earth with her hind paws and took one forceful leap toward the elephant, her dainty jaws open wide. Her first real attempt to attack the beast, and she was going for the trunk.
Poor Lani, not a clue how to go about such a large and powerful animal.

Hel couldn't see much of the fighting from his standpoint, near-cowering as he was on the sideline- but he heard the ominous sound of wood snapping and branches crackling.
"This is bad."
He shot out from the underbrush with a sudden show of agility, but found himself crouching instead in another shadow.
"This is really bad."
