I really need to read that... I'm going back and reading a bunch of the House of M side stories right now for whatever reason.
Also, the Marvel Heroes MMO that just came out kind of sucks monkey dong.

Lindsays Trachea That'd be the one. Best damn book out right now. nice. I'l try and hit up barnes to see what's up. Do I have to read any other hawkeye comic first before or can I just jump right in? @Wanderer I heard it just looked like it sucked monkey dong, but plays in the diablo fashion and isn't so bad. edit: you have to pay for spider man/iron man? ....... I guess you can unlock them, but the video im watching, they don't know how

Hawkeye doesn't require any prior reading, just that you know who both Clint Barton and Kate Bishop are(both Hawkeyes). It's almost completely removed from all the other Avengers-related stuff and it's better for it.

Yeah, I'll probably get Hawkeye tonight, then... I've seen bits and pieces and it looked good, just never got to it. I also need to catch up on Saga. :S
But I got bored with Heroes really quickly. I've never played Diablo, so I can't say, but it's just not exciting to play. At least DC Universe Online's fighting style was entertaining for a while. It also sucks that you have so little choice in characters right off the bat. Apparently you can earn them later in the game as loot, but I'm not paying $20 so I can be another character in a free-to-play game. I don't especially understand how to buy them, anyway, since Steam is only selling them in packs for $80. no official site even specified which characters you could play from the start clearly and openly.

Ha. I don't visit those areas of Chicago. We live in one of the quieter, safer neighborhoods. If it does get bad, I don't care how many years my husband has before early retirement... we're outta there. wink

My cousin made me the cake. She's amazing. The cupcake wrappers were all 90s X-Men comics and such. Was positively nerdy.
Man of Steel opinions from anybody? It was actually the first time I've ever been excited about a Superman movie and would pay to see it again.

I hate superman. I didn't think the movie was needed... but man, I'll watch superman movies if they are all like this one.

Hell, I'll put my shirt back on if that's what you want, but still... posts.
It's funny, though, the first comic I can remember reading was Death of superman, with his battle against Doomsday. I don't even think I could read back then. My father just had it in book form and I liked looking at the pictures.
I've seen some of the old Christopher Reeves films and was entertained enough, but... eh. I mean, I'll get to it eventually, I just haven't been convinced that its anything more than your standard summer blockbuster yet.

I felt pretty much the same exact way, Wanderer. I'll see it eventually if I come across it, but I won't go out of my way to watch it.
