Maddie nodded. "Agreed, let's go then." She began to walk. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll do just fine in your battle." She blushed a little. "I will cheer you on." She smiled at him. "But for now we should find somewhere to rest."
They came upon a small clearing in the woods right before Paysage. Maddie set up her tent. "Common mon petit!" "Snubb!" Snubbull helped her build a fire. She felt it'd be better to let Kadaj relax. She set up two sleeping bags.
After camp was set up she grabbed a lunch box from her bag. She sat beside Kadaj. "Here, it's a pastry." She began to eat one too. Food was out for the pokemon as well.

Kadaj followed Madeline to a clearing and silently sat beside her and took his pastry. He could feel himself blushing when she said that she was going to root for him. He kind of wasn't expecting that. In an attempt to change the subject he said "I don't think I've had this before." Kadaj turned to Madeline and smiled, revealing all his teeth as he did so. he didn't get treats from other people often, so it was nice. "I should let my other Pokemon eat too."
Since the food out seemed like enough for Poochyena and Snubbull, Kadaj pulled a can of Pokemon Food out from his bag that he'd received from Selphie earlier. He then poured all of it onto the ground before releasing his Combusken known as Pepper and Deerling out. The two Pokemon raced up to the food and began to eat. "I'm sure I'll do okay." Kadaj remembered Selphie saying that he would have a huge advantage if he managed to make Torchic evolve, which he did in that battle against Serah. "I think I'm going to use Combusken and Deerling."

╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” Seth was walking the route to Vormund with his new pokemon pal when all of a sudden a Pikachu comes out of the bushes "Hmm seems like it is your go little Razor" Seth healed the pokemon with a spare potion he had and let razor go at it.
Razor looked like it had a few moves. "Razor use Scratch!" Razor went up to the pikachu and hit it with a scratch, Pikachu went back a few inchs and came back with a scratch of his own and barely made Razor scoot back then Razor came back with a headbutt out of no where sending the pikachu flying.
Pikachu then slowly came back looking angry as he gather his energy for a Thundershock that then hit Razor but not very hard then finally Razor came back and punched the pikachu with a Sucker punch leaving it unconscious.
"Good job Razor...do you think we should catch this pikachu?" Razor looked at the pikachu then looked back at Seth and shook its head yes it seemed "Pawniard pawn pawni!" so Seth took another pokeball from his Jacker this time it looked like it had a lightening bolt on it because it was a fast ball so he threw it at the Pikachu whether it actually cought or not he didnt care he had more but most likely he would just leave the pokemon if it had failed... ╚════════════════════╝ “...Why do you even bother you're going to lose...” Seth walked over to the pokeball that just finished shaking "well hello Pi that will be your new name" Seth looked over at Razor "You did a good job Razor and i see you leveled up as well thats great!" he seemed to really favor his Pawniard.
Seth and Razor were now walking towards Vormund with the new pokemon hanging from his jacket shrunk to its normal form, he was trying to see if there were any people he could talk to and maybe see if he could fight someone with his Razor Location:Close to Vormund Pokemon:

Selphie sighed as she walked towards Paysage, or at least she thought it was Paysage. She had never been to this region before and she wasn’t exactly the best when it came to navigating. “Ooooh! I knew I should’ve stuck with Kadaj or Chad. Going off on my own was a bad idea.” Selphie kept all of her Pokémon in their poke-balls so that she could preserve their energy, although she knew she’d probably need Pidgey to scout from the sky in a few minutes if she didn’t have any luck.
As she was about to call forth her Pokémon, she caught somebody, although he didn’t look very friendly with that sword he was carrying. “Err, hello?” Selphie looked at the man with discerning eyes, not quite sure if she should approach him or not. He could be just like Serah and be after her Pokémon.

Selphie already had a pokeball in hand, ready to send out Croagunk whenever he clutched his sword, although she didn’t want to make any false moves so she stood in place, not moving forward or backwards as she watched him. After listening to him ask if she was lost, she couldn’t help but sigh and scratch her head, untangling the messes in it as she did so. “Um, well yeah. I’m trying to get to Paysage Town so that I can fight the first gym leader and meet up with some friends that I lost…” Selphie let her voice fade for a moment as she thought about what they were up to now. She then cut back to reality and shook her head. “Anyways, I’m Selphie. Who are you?” Selphie folded her arms and looked at the man for a moment. She didn’t want to be rude, but she really wanted to know why on earth he was carrying a sword around.

"My name is Seth, Seth Maverick" he then saw her staring at his sword when he had realized this he had let go of it "well honestly it seems you have gone the complete opposite direction Paysage is the other way" he pointed. Selphie looked at the Pokemon that were with this Seth character. They seemed like they were fit to be his partner, considering that Pawniard had blades of its own attached.
She couldn't help but sigh as she heard the misfortunate news that she was actually headed in the wrong direction. "Well, I guess that sucks." Selphie nodded in response to his suggestion. "Sure, we can go to Paysage together. Just don't do anything with the uh, blade alright?" Selphie pointed to the sword nervously. It made her insanely uncomfortable because she'd never been around one before, but she couldn't be so judgmental before she even got to know someone.

Seth seemed interesting enough, or so Selphie thought. It would be kind of refreshing to get away from a bunch of gay guys for a little bit, even though she liked them a lot because they were just fabulous, but Selphie wasn't about to ask if Seth was gay. "I don't really have any heirlooms of my own, but that's cool." Selphie knelt down so that she was at eye level with Pawniard. "Hello Razor Edge, it's good to meet you." Selphie petted the top of the Pokemon's smooth head before standing up. "I have a few Pokemon of my own, but I think they're sleeping right now." Selphie detected the anxious laughing coming from Seth, but she wasn't entirely sure if it was natural or not. "So um, I don't exactly know the way, so probably you could lead?"

Selphie wasn't entirely sure if a battle would be a good idea or not. "You want to battle me? Hmm, I guess so." Selphie paused for a moment before creating a follow up statement, "But I don't fight until a Pokemon is knocked out. I fight to train, and a Pokemon doesn't learn anything from fainting other than they lost the fight." Selphie smiled before nodding in agreement. "I'll follow you into town, that'd be a start. I guess we could go to the Pokemon Center. All three of my Pokemon are fine so I'll just wait for yours."
