"The violin plays a soft melody, as my mind starts to feel ease. Let the music wash over my soul, make my mind pure and whole. Let me be renewed." Victor smiled as he clapped for the male who just performed, he then got up and went to the front as he turned to face the crowd and sat at the piano. He usually did violin but he wanted to try something different, and he was raised classically so. "Umm..I...I'll go next." He said softly while he stretched out his hands and began to play.He needed to get into this...so he closed his eyes. I feel reflective you know? My inner thoughts are, "..." Leonette Rosalia Mitchell First Year Gryffindor Chloe Clarisse Fifth Year Hufflepuff Prefect ~ Dating Sun Location: Music Club Chloe and Leonette listened to the performances clapping along at the talent. Turning to her cousin Leonette looked up at her as if she was about to say something and then stopped. "What is it Leo?" Chloe asked the younger girl. "Um... I was wondering if you would help me with a song..." she asked curiously. "Of course I will what song is it?" Chloe asked her. Leonette thought for a moment before closing her eyes and bringing herself to tell Chloe. "I miss you..." That's all Leonette had to say for Chloe to know what song she was talking about. "Go on." she said gesturing for her cousin to hit the stage. Getting up and going over to the stage Leonette waited for Chloe. As she looked at the Hufflepuff she noticed a small smile appear on her face. There was sadness in her eyes much the same as Leonette. "Ready, Leo?" Chloe asked. "Yeah I'm ready..." Leonette replied. "One, two, three, four..." Chloe counted in before she started playing her guitar. Waiting for the correct time Leonette started to sing. Her voice filled with emotion as she did. You see, you'd love to run home, but you know you ain't got one Cuz you're livin' in a world that you're best forgotten When you're thinkin' you're a joke and nobody's gonna listen To the one small point I know they've been missing around hereRick looked over at Cait when they both sat again, surprise flitting across his face before realizing that no one outside his family knew, and even then not even his brother knew the full truth. She hadn't hurt him, not even close, but it was such an ingrained reaction from his month with his mum that he hadn't even realized that it was still there. Not many people touched his arm. He kind of avoided people people trying to touch him there, anyway. He debated saying anything, but was sure he didn't want the entirety of Music Club to know what happened to him. "It's... a long story. And no, it's really not your fault. It just kind of happened. Really, if anyone was at fault, it was me. But we really shouldn't talk about it in the club though..." Yeah, best keep it to as little people that knew as possible. If anything, he'd have to tell Jacob too, and maybe he could say something later to him about it? ---------------------------------- Location: Music Room Thinking: Just like we practiced OOC: ... ----------------------------------Jinx

Robin 'Theo' Gibbs Eleven year old Football Prodigy House: Gryffindor{|}Football Club: TBA{|}Mood: Shy If there was one thing he was comfortable enough to do, it was play guitar. He never really sang in front of people and that was never going to stop. Why? Because he doubted himself. He was an alright singer, but he felt like he paled to others; so he constantly avoided it. He would wait his turn however. His eye looked down on the old classical guitar. That was his strong suit. He would show it off a little bit too. He started playing guitar when he was about six years old and he found one in his newly adopted parents garage. When he was not playing football, he was playing that old guitar. He didn't bring it with him however; so the one sitting in the corner will do. I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.

You o f f e n d my D E L I C A T E little sensibilities.... When the blonde has seen Victor go up and perform, he was honestly surprised- - - and impressed. It was a beautiful piece that the pinkette had played. Clapping along with them when he was finished, the blonde rested his chin on his knees, having had brought up his legs on the seat. With a smile, the blonde waved at the Frenchman from the back.
This would probably have cemented his decision to stay in the Music Club, after all. .... My sexy blonde (and delicate!) N A T U R I S T sensibilities.

"The violin plays a soft melody, as my mind starts to feel ease. Let the music wash over my soul, make my mind pure and whole. Let me be renewed." Victor smiled as he had steppe doff the stage earlier and watched the others perform. It was then he spotted a familiar face near the back of the room and smiled, so Del Rey was into music too?
That was nice~
Victor then walked to the back of the room and took a seat next to Del, watching as a male was getting ready to play something. This was the type of environment Victor liked after all.
"Umm...Bo-Bonjour Del..." Victor smiled again, feeling his face heat up, just like last time. The male still hadn't figured out why, though Claire said it was useless anyway since he was gonna end up miserable.
Victor cleared those thoughts away though, "Yo-you...joining as we-well?" Why was he stuttering? I feel happy you know? My inner thoughts are, "So Del likes music too?" I'm in the house of Hufflepuff. I am a proud second year My puppeteer says "..." Out of character.

No adequate rationalization can be made for our solitude This evening, infant This evening, infant I have determined a justification For our mutual collaboration its difficult to stimulate your nervous system to condone hazardous conditions I will now sprint to the outer perimeter with you So we can descend in adoration
Romy hurried into the Music Room, knowing he was late. His cello was heavy and he had to lug it from the seventh floor. No wonder his arms hurt a lot lately! Oh well. It was always nice to play so he could practice for his OWLs. Surely the test would require some sort of playing... right? He looked around, then found a seat near the door, breathing a bit heavier than normal. Why had he chosen to learn such a heavy instrument?! Navy eyes blinked, then he remembered the bass cello at the Hawthorn house. At least he didn't have to carry that monster! The teen looked around the room, wondering if Anna had yet to appear. A frown showed on his face when he saw that she hadn't yet come, despite his subtle hints that he wanted her to. Maybe he should have just dragged her....

You o f f e n d my D E L I C A T E little sensibilities.... The blonde didn't stop the smile that appeared on his face when the older boy took the seat next to him. "Being completely honest, I thought it would be a while before we spoke again," he spoke, smile still on his face. "I'm glad it didn't. And I think I am," Del looked over at his friend. "It's been a fun place, and you're in it. I think I might," he added, a little grin on.
Looking over at the firstie- - - he vaguely remembered him being sorted into Gryffindor, while he was paying attention to the Sorting- - - the Borson realized something and turned to his friend again. "Ah, that's right," he said, leaning towards the older boy, staring at him curiously. "You never said anything about playing the piano. Though you were pretty rad on the violin that time," he stated, leaning back on his seat now and retreating from his invasion of the older boy's personal bubble. "I liked it. You played it well."
"Aside from the performing, what goes on in here?" Del asked, looking around the place interestedly, knees hugged to his chest again on the chair. To be honest, he could see himself spending a lot of time here. He hadn't practiced a few instruments in a while. He'd have to catch it at an empty time, though. Public performance was a little daunting after a long sabbatical from it. .... My sexy blonde (and delicate!) N A T U R I S T sensibilities.

"The violin plays a soft melody, as my mind starts to feel ease. Let the music wash over my soul, make my mind pure and whole. Let me be renewed." Victor tilted his head and then nodded, "I...I'm glad too." He could feel his French accent getting thick again. Why did this happen around Del Rey? Victor would have to ask Ronna or Ariana about it some time, they were older, they'd probably know.
As Del Rey leaned towards him, Victor's blush grew, "I was...forced to learn to play." He said bitterly, "Since...I was raised as a noble and everyzing...zey taught me to play multiple instruments." Victor then frowned a bit, both at the memory and for some reason at Del Rey moving back to probably give him some space, "For parties and such, oui." The Frenchman was glad Del Rey liked his performance though.
As he listened to the question Victor mulled it over, "Mademoiselle Ariana would know more about zat zhan me." He started, "However...It's mostly to hang around, play instruments...watch performances." Victor's eyes then glinted, "To just have fun and relax~"
Victor then remembered something, "Oh..umm..Do..Do you play anyzing Del?" He asked, the blush returning. I feel at ease you know? My inner thoughts are, "These feelings..." I'm in the house of Hufflepuff. I am a proud second year My puppeteer says "..." Out of character.

Muggleborn // Single Caitlin nodded silently. She knew it was wrong, but she found it slightly comforting that she wasn't the only one with a dark past. If she could have slapped herself for even thinking that without her mental stability being questioned, she probably would have. "You don't have to tell me about it. Not everyone's past is as cheery as they make it about to be." She knew this due to the fact that during her third year, most of the students could see the threstrals.

You o f f e n d my D E L I C A T E little sensibilities.... "Forced to play?" Del replied, scandalized and more than a bit angry, if his frowning was anything to go by. "Noble or not, you should have never been forced, even if you grew up being damn good at it." He was a noble as well and a pureblood, and he had never been forced to do anything or learn anything that was completely against his will. It was a little different from the norm standards that most noble families went through, but that was the proper standard to treat any child. Reaching over, the blonde took his companion's hand, holding it in his. "I know it's not much and it's probably a bit forward of me to be saying this now," he smiled sheepishly. "If you need a place away from anything, you're welcome to stay at my place for a while," he offered, a small smile playing on his lips.
Shifting awa from the uncomfortable subject, Del leaned back again, thinking on the last question. He was still holding Victor's hand. "Yes. I do," he replied, still mulling it over. "I play a lot of instruments, since I usually turned to music to pass the time while we were travelling. I dabbled in them, but the ones I can play most well are the piano and the guitar," he answered, cheery grin bac on his face. "Those and my voice, but I don't play that much anymore. Life got a bit busy" he explained with a gesture of his right hand, the other holding his friend's hand. .... My sexy blonde (and delicate!) N A T U R I S T sensibilities.

((OOC: outfit in picture)) Ariana watched Caitlin and Rick perform, her hand still cupped over Tobi's shoulder. She only pulled it away to clap once the duo had finished. When a first year boy stood up and asked if he could go, the prefect nodded and smiled enthusiastically, but she doubted he even saw her. His eyes were locked on the piano onstage. Large, brown eyes watched Alexander as he focused on the keys before him, running his fingers over them in a rhythm. Joy could be read on the boy's expression. When he finished, the seventh year applauded. Her attention jumped from the boy onstage to a boy who walked in. Realizing it had been Del Rey and that he waved to her, Ariana waved back, then dropped her hand onto her lap. Upon hearing the piano start up again, the girl looked to see who was playing next. Victor? She was surprised to see the boy's familiar pink hair behind the piano since he always played his violin, and he was extremely good at it. Though, he did prove to be an excellent pianist even if he played a sad melody. Next, two girls, Chloe and a firstie, jumped onstage and sang a sad duet. It was beautiful, but why were they singing such a sad song? Even when the girl was depressed, she couldn't bring herself to write one.

"The violin plays a soft melody, as my mind starts to feel ease. Let the music wash over my soul, make my mind pure and whole. Let me be renewed." Victor looked confused at Del's reaction to him being forced to play, was it not something that happened usually? He was always taught otherwise, and never questioned it. "I shouldn't have? It was normal though." Victor replied, remembering his tutor telling him such.
Victor then blushed as he felt his hand taken hold of and stared at Del, his eyes were wide...why was he feeling this way? Victor knew he liked guys but...wait...like?
That thought made the Frenchman blush harder, "I...I'll keep zat in mind..." He said, not exactly resisting the hand holding.
At the mention of Del playing some instruments as well, Victor smiled at the male, "Guitar?" He then imagined Del playing it and giggled some, "I'm sure you're quite good at zat..."
For some reason...it fit.
Victor felt fuzzy inside and his smile grew, "You can sing too?" He then blushed, "So much talent, oui?" I feel nice you know? My inner thoughts are, "...why's my heart racing?" I'm in the house of Hufflepuff. I am a proud second year My puppeteer says "..." Out of character.

Leonette Rosalia Mitchell First Year Gryffindor Chloe Clarisse Fifth Year Hufflepuff Prefect ~ Dating Sun Location: Music Club Leonette looked over at Chloe when they were done. The older girl smiled over at her cousin knowing that it was hard on her to be away from her siblings. There were so many things that Chloe had no idea how to deal with but it seemed that Leonette had been dealing with it. Of course it only looked like that from the outside. On the inside she was very much the eleven year old that was falling apart but she wouldn't let it show. Walking off and taking a seat Chloe smiled to her. "You were great." she told her calmly. "Thanks Chloe." Leonette replied. If only things could be different... The Hufflepuff noticed Ariana's confusion to the sad song they had done. She would gladly explain the reason to her if she asked and she was certain so would Leonette. The blonde shook his head. "How do you say this? It's normal in those circles, but it's not right," he said, tapping his chin. "Just because someone cannot refuse you doesn't mean you should exploit it like that. And I hope so," the blonde said, tone teasing. "I wasn't kidding about that. You really are welcome if you need it," he smiled.
Del laughed, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand before returning to wrap it around his knees, which were still raised in the chair. "You're probably overestimating me," he laughed. "I'm just decent, really. In everything," he said, a bit embarrassed at the compliments. He wasn't used to them at all. Modesty aside, the blonde actually was very skilled in the two instruments, despite his usual self-deprecation when faced with the subject, when it was an unconscious habit to downplay his talents. Nodding, Del replied, "Yes. Not as of late anymore, however," he smiled, the embarrassment fading a bit more. "How about you? Aside from the magic you work with the piano and the violin, what else do you do?" The free hand the younger Hufflepuff had wrapped a bit more securely around his knees while his taken one squeezed the hand in it lightly.
