Agrin, attacking Keela
The older man scowled when one of the dragon's spoke to him, looking far more annoyed than worried. "Eh, he's tougher'n he looks. 'Sides, I can always get another'un."
When the green left their 'fight,' Agrin shook his fist at the dragon. "That's it, run away! Go on now, go!"
Acting as unconcerned as his words would have indicated, instead of going to his wher, he went in search of a new target and found it in a woman with a knife.
"You leave that boy alone now," he growled, swinging.

Rase crumpled to the ground after his head was hit against the wall, and Cetalese looked to Eliza, her breathing only slightly heavier than usual. "Narisa needs us. Halith says she's being held in safety, now, but there's a man who still needs to be taken care of. Are you strong enough to take on another?"
With Eliza's agreement, Cetalese nodded and gestured for Eliza to follow, jogging towards Halith. Sure enough, she had a human in her hand and a man menacing her.
Cetalese picked up the speed, sprinting to the man and shoving him aside to get his attention, rather than harm him. "Step back and you won't be harmed." His allies were mostly gone; there was no logic in him continuing to fight.

When the green big bespoke him, Agrisk stared dumbly at her for moment - he was apparently an exceptionally stupid specimen - but it was enough of a pause to allow her to render him unconscious.
Whump! The bronze fell right over.

"Of course I can" Eliza told Ceta when she asked after her ability to keep going - like she was going to stop after everything that had already happened. Following after her friend she took note of the gold rider in the greens clutches - at any other time that would have struck her as somewhat amusing but knowing why it was being done took all the humor out of it
Unlike her friend who was willing to give the man a chance to talk and leave Eliza just barreled on in and jumped at him, fists flying.

Keela, Defending Against Agrin'Boy'? Please, the man she was attacking looked to be about her own age. The twin riders he'd been attacking himself were the 'boys', comparatively speaking. But now was sadly not the time to quibble over semantics. "What's the matter, old man, not gettin enough action for yourself lately?" Keela replied, throwing her arms up in front of her to defend herself from the blow. ... Perhaps now was not quite the time for double-entendres either, but eh. Why not. HP: 8 Attack: 1d6 + 2 Item: Knife (+2 damage) Defense: 1d4 + 2 Accuracy: -3 Damage Taken: 4 - (2 + 2) = 0 New HP: 8 - 0 = 8

As far as Agrin was concerned, the vastajority of the combatants out here qualified as 'boy' or 'girl.'. The most important distinction was which side they were on.
"Not as much as you, I'm sure," he sneered derisively in answer, throwing another punch.

He had been so close to taking out that gold rider and now she was in the clutches of a green. Damn dragons - they really were a menace to society as far as he was concerned. In any case he didn't have much time to really put any thought into this because a moment later two more riders showed up to defend the goldrider.
They were like locusts these riders. "Never!" He told the one who tried to talk him into retreating before throwing up his arms to try and block the second ones attack

Rescuing Hans
Zorn hadn't gone far, not with the shape Zornsk was in. Of course, his resilient Brown could have handled a much longer trip, but Zorn wanted to begin patching him up-- and, as long as everyone was distracted by other things, he was safe being this close to the fighting.
Therefore, he heard Hans's crying for his wher and moved back to see the man sobbing over the corpse left behind. Zorn swallowed hard and sensed Zornsk over his shoulder. He reached back and rested a hand on his Brown's head. Although the Brown made no sound, Zorn felt the comfort exuding from him as Zornsk rested his head on Zorn's shoulder.
"Stay here, stay low," he warned Zornsk, his eyes searching the field for possible trouble. "I'll be back."
Zornsk made a soft sound in his throat, but obeyed his handler. They hadn't been the perfect team for four years by him disobeying Zorn, and he wasn't about to start now.
Zorn slipped out of the forest and carefully jogged towards one side of the building. He slipped up to the corner, peeked around it, and then quickly made his way across the open space to Hans.
"Hans," he whispered, kneeling beside the man while still checking the area to make sure no one could see him. "Come on, Hans. He wouldn't want to see you get killed or captured. Come on. I'll get you somewhere safe." He'd let the man mourn as he needed to, but not here. Zorn didn't want to see all of his allies captured, though Greta could go to Thread for all Zorn cared. Crazy b***h. "Let's go before they see us."
Back in the forest, Zorn could feel Zornsk watching with a fighter's intense focus and a small bit of anxiety. His handler was in danger; Zornsk didn't want him in there any longer than he needed to be without Zornsk at his side.

Hans
When Zorn arrive Hans managed to quiet down, though only slightly "I -I don't want to leave him here!' He told the other handler..although both of them knew that there was no way they could move the blues corpse. You know..without a dragon and that was obviously not going to happen.
"My Hansk..poor Hansk..he was trying to retreat" The man told Zorn, his voice on the verge of sobbing again - really it would probably be best for Zorn to drag him off before he gave them away.

Taith, Defending KeelaMuch like Stromath was currently doing for his humans, Taith came over and blocked the wherhandler's attack with her paw. Mine, shall I remove this human and place him elsewhere? the green asked, unconcerned with any 'threat' he might present to her. If he keeps being troublesome, then please do, the greenrider replied with a nod, glad for her dragon's intervention. "My dragon's going to put you in time-out if you don't give up and behave," Keela remarked aloud, her comment entirely wry. You know, this day had started out so nice and simple... HP: 44 Attack: 2d4 + 2 Defense: 1d6 + 2 Accuracy: -6 Damage Taken: 7 - (6 + 2) = -1 (no damage) New HP: 44

Zorn - Rescuing Hans
Zorn looked around quickly, then slipped an arm under Hans's and pulled him to his feet.
"I know. I know. Come on, Hans. Come on!" The senses he had developed with the Holdless were all on high alert; he wasn't spending any longer here than he had to. Half-dragging and half-walking with Hans, Zorn directed him back to the forest a bit further down from where Zornsk had been left. No sense in leading the riders straight back to his wher, after all, unless he wanted to end up like Hans.
As the pair of handlers slipped into the forest, Zorn whistled once for Zornsk and heard a faint rustle as the wher retreated quietly into the shadows offered by the thick foliage. His wher wouldn't leave his side again, if Zorn had his way. They were going to get out of this revolution alive.

Of course he had said no, but at least she had tried. Since he was defending against Eliza, Cetalese took the opportunity to flank him and aim a punch at his kidneys. It connected, though they would see how much it actually hurt him in a moment.
We'll take care of it, Halith.
Of course you will, mine. Show him not to pick on dragonriders!

Tomen tried to fend off the blow as the first women joined in, apparently she wasn't going to keep trying to talk him down now that he was being attacked by another. Despite his attempts to save himself however both blows managed to hit and do some damage.

Now that he was on the defensive, Cetalese pressed forward and tried the same "take out his knees" kick as she had used on Ethel inside. He would go down. She and Eliza had to get to the firestone for the dragons and every time one of the revolutionaries sensed their fate and fought back it was just delaying them from getting to the rest of the weyr.
Then again, one couldn't skip steps in a project if they wanted the best result at the end, so they would have to take care of the problems before they could get to the solution.
