Neil kept moving towards the crime scene, he saw Avarice catch up to him and move ahead of him some. He knew that this was a race against time, it was something that he couldn't stand to lose. He rounded the corner and made it to the crime scene. He slowed and ducked under the tape, and caught his breath a moment before walking over towards the trash.

Avarice was already sniffing around. Jasmine caught up to them, panting.

"Any idea where?" Neil asked over his shoulder as he moved closer to the trash and kept an eye on Avarice. There could be many places for one to hide something.

Avarice barked. Jasmine couldn't speak. She had run to catch up.

Neil looked quickly over to Avarice, before he moved quickly to the dog side. He was hoping that he had found it, but he was unsure.

Avarice licked the small little child. He knew it was alive and very sick. Jasmine sank to the ground, breathing hard. She shouldn't have ran to catch up.

Neil cut a quick glance towards Jasmine before saying "Avarice go to Jasmine." He wasn't sure if the dog would help her but he had to tend to the child. He slowly and gently placed his hands around the small child and picked it up. The child felt cold, so he pulled it to his chest and hoped that his body heat would help the child. He pulled out his phone and call an ambulance, they had about 6 minutes before it got there.

Avarice whined but obeyed. Jasmine slowly stood. She had recovered enough. "I can't run like that," she muttered.

"Then you shouldn't have." Neil said as he moved slowly towards her. He held the child close to his chest. He was hoping that the child would be alright, it would only be a few more minutes before the ambulance got there.

Jasmine shrugged. "The baby will be fine Neil," she said softly. "She'll need a home though and Lily didn't have any living family except Alex and...well..." Avarice licked her hand.

Neil gave his shoulders a small shrug. "The child should be looked at by a doctor." He said as he place one of his hands on Jasmine's shoulder.

"But after that what will happen to her," Jasmine asked.

Neil thought for a moment, he was considering what would happen to the child. He told her the truth "I don't know." He really couldn't think of what would happen to the child.

Jasmine looked at the little baby. "She has the gift like Lily had and I have," she muttered. "I can tell." The baby was awake now.

Neil moved closer to her and offered her the small child. He saw that she was awake and he hoped that she wouldn't start to cry. The ambulance would be there in a few minutes.
