Texas took another bite of his ice cream. "One thing I'm not confused about is that he's crazy," Texas replied. "He's also dangerous. He might be all romantic and bring you flowers and stuff one moment and then the next be all cruel and tell you that the flowers will die as soon as you try and smell them." He paused for a moment as he took another bite of ice cream. "Yeah. He would totally do that."

Texas thought for a moment. "Maybe..." he said. He could understand wanting attention, though he wouldn't quite go to the crazy extremes Sanctum had. He could definitely see Sanctum being lonely and sad though. "Maybe he thinks having the perfect wife will cheer him up?" He hypothesized, remembering what Sanctum had said about her becoming some kind of perfect being. He still didn't quite understand that part yet.

Texas looked at her as he finished his ice cream. "So what now?" He asked her. "We just wait for him to reappear like the boogeyman and deal with it then?" Texas was never one for waiting, but he honestly had no idea where Sanctum had gotten to. Besides, now that they had a year of training together he was eager to see how well they stacked up against him as opposed to when they had first met. He leaned way back in his seat, causing it to lift up on only the back legs, and rested one foot against the edge of the table. "What if he got cold feet and bailed on the wedding? Not that THAT would be a problem but it means we'd never get to fight him?"

Texas shrugged as he pushed the chair he was leaning in back and forth with the bottom of his shoe that was against the table edge. "Yeah, I'd believe it," he replied. "But then again he also said that nothing he does makes sense since he's insane and all so I dunno." He looked at her as she sighed and laid her head on the table. "Do you care if he does?" He asked, a wolfish grin on his face.

Texas raised an eyebrow as he continued rocking back and forth. "Yeah, I'd say it's a bad habit in this case," he replied, slightly concerned. After a moment he let the chair fall back on all fours. "You're too nice sometimes," he said. He was worried that her sympathy for Sanctum might end up getting her hurt, both emotionally and physically. There was no way for him to tell whether Sanctum was serious or not. About anything. He would never forgive himself if he let them walk into a trap because he trusted the word of a madman. Not to mention Sanctum seemed incredibly powerful. When they had fought him he seemed to be just about an even match for the two of them combined. If he somehow managed to get the drop on them or one of them alone... "Just be careful," he told her. He had no doubt that they'd meet Sanctum again soon.

Texas rested his cheek on his hand as he looked at her from across the table. "Become a millionaire and live in a mansion full of playboy bunnies. But if you're asking me what I want to do that's available, I'd say let's look around the street and see what's going on. Maybe we'll stumble across a witch taking a nap in the alleyways or something. You never know."

"What, you don't think I could do it someday?" Texas replied, sounding genuinely hurt. He stood up with her and looked towards the door, thumbs in his pockets. "Hey, maybe if we go find ourselves a witch dimension? I'm sure we'd have some action then!" He grinned back at her.
