Apparently, Tsuki thought that she was in control of Kouga and his actions. "You must be confusing me for the mutt over here. I've no intention of dying in this hell hole." spoke Kouga. Although he did not mean it purposely, his eyes had narrowed into a vicious glare before he looked outwars at the lake once more. A boat had caught his attention, but when the pebbles caught fire he began to tense up. As the fog rose more scents entered his nose, and began to mess with him. He could not clearly get the scent of those around him, but he knew that the group was near him through his sight. When the boat touched onto the shoreline Kouga looked down at the boat. How had it made it across the water without being burnt to a crisp? "Tch. It looks like we need to go across on the boat, otherwise we won't make it across the lake. I don't know about the rest of you, but were going to get Kagome." When he said were, he only meant Inuyasha since at this point in time, he trusted the half-demon. If putting aside his differences with Inuyasha would save his woman, than Kouga would do so immediately. Putting his foot onto the side of the boat he prepared to enter the boat.

The Dark Miko

A sneering smile appeared as the boat began to move across the lake toward her. How foolish they were to offer themselves. She kept the laughter at bay though. She would rid the world of them. That was for certain. Settling on her knees, she began to meditate as they began to get nearer. She could feel the original fallen one in the area. It did not matter to her though. As long as the creature did not stop her plans, she was fine to leave her be. She knew power when she felt it and the only other she deigned to follow was the dark Taiyoukai of this world. A soft whisper escaped her lips. The fog began to thicken so that the group would be unable to see beyond their boat. Once it was thick enough, she sought out the miko's energy. The girl was surrounded by the aura of a fox youkai. Too easy. Rising, she began her preparations to draw the girl's soul from her body. As minutes passed, the girl would begin to feel a painful tug on her soul as it was being called.

Residents of the Lake

The sound of a beautiful voice rang out across the lake, drawing and tempting the males. It would entice them to leave behind all they knew. Even the strongest would find it hard to draw themselves away. The voice moved closer until in the fog a beautiful female appeared. She appeared to be almost human but more elf like. She moved forward, surrounded in a bubble that protected her from the lake. Pure clean water surrounded her immediate area. She looked extremely lonely.

TOUGA
Rescue Party
When Inuyasha tripped while getting onto the boat loosing his hold on the exhausted pup he jerked awake and managed to latch onto Tsuki as well as fall into her arms. He tiredly looked around warily at the thick fog that filled the area and could hear a woman's voice floating on the air. It wasn't until Sango told everyone to plug their ears did he hastily do so, if someone set him down into the boat then it would be easier now that he is awake. "Whas going on??"

STIAN
The Rescue Party
When the group left the camp, Stian rode along on the fox's shoulder while he carried Lady Rin. When they arrived at the lake of fire and death, his furr steadily fluffed out. The whole area is likely to be one big trap. His instinct is to fly over it rather then cross it by boat. At the center of the midst a boat steadily came into view it is big enough to hold everyone but to Stian's eyes he could see mere folk riseing out of the water and other beasts of the lake coming to the serface eager for a meal. "This is a trap." though that is probably obvious to everyone else too. He hopped off of the fox and at a clear space he transformed into his true form, his sleek silvery white fur gleamed silvery in the darkness and reflected the random fires on the lake. He intended to stay transformed for a time as he can see farther and could see illusions must easier then the others could.

He did not get into the boat like everyone else but rather took advantage of the fog and stepped out onto it a silvery mist came off of his own fur around his large paws allowing him to walk on the air itself as he did not trust the boat.


INUYASHA'S SHADOW

So that is it isn't it. by protecting this girl he is to be deamed a traitor. But at the same time these two shouldn't have left their posts to play, what if those rag tag fools from the other realm got past their traps without them where they are supposed to be to spring them? They aren't doing their job but taking the time to play around with His captive. Aside from that there is the issue that his job is to protect Kagome while she is in this realm. He will be loyal to his duty and if it means killing his own kin...then so be it. As Sayu prepared a whip to lash out at him he growled and stood up putting himself between her and Kagome. "So be it." In the next instance his claws lengthened and a red aura flashed around his person he transformed to a full demon his silver hair blew aside to reveal red shot demonic eyes and jagged purple markings on his face. "I'll kill you if you touch her." He heard Kagome's plea for a bow and arrow, "Behind you see the large oak in the distance, look around the roots and find what you seek." he had slain some barbarians out here and there is a bow by some corpses by that oak, stone arrow head arrows too. He spoke low enough that only Kagome heard him. "Go. I'll be right behind you." He told her then flexed his claws facing off against Sayu to protect Kagome. Trusting her to find the bow and not use it on him.


MIROKU
Rescue Party
Miroku stepped onto the boat letting inuyasha take the rear and soon everyone except for Stian is on the boat, the white cat choosing to float on the air instead. The moment that the boat began to drift off across the lake Miroku felt a strong presence for a moment not the beings in the lake of Brimstone or the 'island' ahead of them...but another presence linked to him somehow, like that demoness who led him into the shadow realm in the first place. A moment later realization dawned on his mind seconds before his alarmed thoughts went silent. "This is already a death trap." he spoke casually as he raised his holy staff, and pulled out several sacred suitras. As if he were getting ready for trouble.

But then, He placed a sacred suitra on Touga Exerting his spiritual power on it making the pup paralized, he did the same to Kilara to immobolize two of them. "Stay." he said causing The prayer beads on Touga to light up and pull the pup harshly to the bottom of the boat. He throws 3 more powerful suitras at Tsuki, Rusty and Koto in turn, meant to temporarily immobolize them with spiritual power, Koga being at the head of the party can't squeeze past everyone to do anything and it would be risky to try jumping over people to get at him without falling into the lake. That left the immiediate threat to him being Inuyasha.

Miroku spun his staff and aim a hard blow to try and knock Tetsuiaga out of Inuyasha's hands! His eyes were fogged as if he were being puppeted by someone.

Kouga had taken point at the head of the boat since he was the first one inside of it, and turned to make sure that everyone else managed to get into the boat as well. Inuyasha had gotten in last, throwing Touga as he did so, causing the wolf demon to sigh softly. The fog thickened around them causing him to squint in order to try and see through its thickness. However, a female voice began to sing out to hem causing his foot to move forwards unintentionally, before he heard Sango's words behind him. Covering his ears immediately, he was almos struck with her weapon as he bent backwards lightly to avoid the large weapon. Just as Koga was going to ask if the males were alright, he heard the monk's voice. Turning, he watched the male throw is spiritual tags at everyone save for himself and Inuyasha. "What the hell are you doing monk!" exclaimd Kouga as he clenched his fist. It sucked. He was trapped on his end unable to move much for fear that he would accidentally knock one of the humans among them into the fiey waters beneath them.

Residents of the Lake

The siren let out a god awful shriek as the weapon came at it. It dipped into the water, the weapon grazing it's arm. Instantly, the other resident were upon her. More sirens rose up out of the water, moving up to the boat in an attempt to overturn it. Large dragon like snakes began to move around the boat as well attempting to snatch those in the boat out of it and into their maws.

TOUGA
Rescue Party
Touga's sleepy querry about what was going on is cut short by a sacred sutra that paralyzed him, followed up with a single word and that allowed the rosary around his neck to glow and bring him crashing the to deck of the boat harshly. Considering the fact that he isn't feeling well and is tired, the blow from the rosary was enough to knock the pup senseless and is now K.O'd. Not that he would have been of any use during this fight anyways.


TAILOS'S SHADOW
Inuyasha Brother ~ Sayu Sister ~ Kagome
After Kagome had fired that first shot and Sayu is dealing with Inuyasha, the traitor. The shadows condensed together behind Kagome as a whip of energy lashed out of the shadows to snap the bow she is using. It isn't the only bow around here, but depriving her of the weapon came first as he came into view. "Tsk tsk, such bad manners for a guest. You should be taught respect." And he raised his hand the whip trailing up and then snapping at her like a striking viper like one of Sesshomaru's attacks. Intending to give her a good whipping and enjoy her cries of pain.


STIAN
The Rescue Party
As he had thought this was a big trap. A siren had started to sing but the slayer woman cut it off, there appeared to be a disturbance in the boat, a closer looks showed that the monk had gone mental and is attacking people. But there is little he can do about that as the mermaids and lake inhabitants began to attack the boat. Roaring in defiance and challenge, The silver cat dove down and blasted the water with sub 0 temperature frost breath sucking the heat temporarily from the liquid and forming a 4 inch sheet of ice on the Brimstone lake where his breath touched, the ice will not last long as it is rapidly melting but it wards off the mere folk and the ice burns the dragons as well, some of which start focusing on him.

He dodges their attacks and flies around the boat creating temporary sheets of ice around the boat, layering and re-layering the ice until he has the boat stalled on ice and it wards off the inhabitants of the lake enough for him to now perform acrobatics to latch all four sets of claws into the scaly hide of a dragon and sink his fangs into its flesh sending out frozen poison spiraling into its flesh.

He is careful to avoid being dragged into the water as he lets go and leaps off before the beast he wounds could dive back under the water.


INUYASHA'S SHADOW

"You are unable to kill one such as I. Your power is nothing compared to me brother." Sayu sneered at him and he scoffed, "Blah, blah, blah are you done boasting or are we gonna fight b***h?" He tone is reminiscent of Inuyasha's annoyed tone and cocky additude when put up against someone who is arrogant in their power. When she raised her whip to crack it at him he blocked the whiplash with his arm then caught the end of the whip tightly in his hands. About this time he heard Kagome's warning and a sinister smirk came on his lips showing one of his fangs. While still hanging onto the woman's whip he dropped and rolled to the side to avoid the arrow and then tugged violently hard on the whip. If she was still hanging onto it tightly then she would have been pulled forward off balance to meet Kagome's sacred arrow making the blow more painful then just a grazing attack.

However if she had loosened her hold then his tug had pulled it out of her grip which he caught and used it to wrap around a tree limb to use the whip to swing on while she cursed at Kagome, His claws glowed an angry red and he used strength to bound back and tighten the whip on the branch and used it to sling shot himself at Sayu swinging a super powered Iron Reaver at her, one of 3 things would happen. a. she managed to avoid a body hit and he ripped one of her wings...or he hit her body and their combined weight would knock her out of the air... or she gets out of the way, but she still gets grazed by the whiplash of his attack as he passed her by. Either way he disrupts whatever it is she is trying to do by draining her energy like that.


MIROKU
Rescue Party
Miroku ignores the alarmed shouts at him when he turns on his friends and allays, he wrestles with Inuyasha refusing to allow him to draw the sword while pressing him to the edge of the boat determined to lock horns with his friend. Ignoring Sango even as she makes a suggested plan. Though he is aware of her drawing her own blade and knows that even with injured arms she'd still be a formidable opponent if she cuts in to fight him instead.

Sango the Demon Slayer

Sango sighed and nodded to Inuyasha, shiething her katanas she rushed to Touga and grabbed him in her arms. By now her arms were screaming in agony but she couldn't stop, not when everyone was counting on her. Sango moved as quickly as she could to the land and as soon as she had Touga safely propped against a tree she remained close to him and hurled her hiraikotsu at Sayu. She had, had quite enough of these demons and she just wanted to go home and beside if she could take out Sayu maybe that would save Miroku. As the hiraikotsu flew towards Sayu Sango moved closer to Touga.

During the first bout of chaos, Tsuki had lost track of Touga. She'd caught him from Inuyasha and then he was forced from her arms by the sacred beads as a immobilizing sutra was put on her. She looked at Rusty, who hadn't seen the monk until it was too late. As things progressed, Tsuki's forehead began to glow. The sutra shattered and she jumped up, covering her ears to the sirens' songs. She looked to Rusty and set fire to the sutra on him. He shook his head and stared at her dumbfounded. Tsuki pointed at Stian as he worked to fight off the lake residents. Rusty nodded and placed his hand on the side of the boat. Ice coated the bottom, but it was melting as soon as it formed. Rusty grimaced and stuck his hand into the water. He bit back a yelp, focusing his energy on keeping a continuous patch of ice around the boat. It was a wide enough to protect Inuyasha and Miroku from the onslaught of the creatures. He scanned the water surrounding them, looking for Stian. While leaning against the side of the boat, he noticed Rin laid down in the bottom of it. It concerned him that she could get hurt, judging by Inuyasha's tone when he yelled for everyone to jump out. He grabbed Rin and moved her to where he could shield her if need be.

While Rusty was helping Stian, Tsuki had followed Koto. She'd transformed mid-jump to gain distance, then shifted back just as she landed. The wolf grabbed the rope and helped Koto to pull it closer to shore. Two demons could do it faster than he would on his own. And she'd refuse to back away if he said anything.
