'hm. This seems harder than I thought it would be.' Macaria thought as he looked around. He kept his eyes sharp for any sign of movement, but had no luck. He wondered what the cubs looked like. That would help him some. They probably blended in with the surroundings. That's what it was so hard, he assured himself.

Rashad had, more or less, spaced out. Perhaps he was beginning to get old... no that was silly. He'd been on his feet for several years and it was starting to catch up to him. He'd not slept well the morning before, nor had he eaten much... perhaps that was it.
Shaking his head, he continued on, trudging through the grass and pushing brush aside.

Isoba had been passing through the area when he heard about a local leopard colony's lost cubs. While he wasn't particularly fond or un-fond of cubs, letting them wander around the jungle by themselves didn't seem like the best idea. Unfortunately, his early attempt at a search proved fruitless.

Makram had to find one more. The girl with the rainbow spots. He was very surprised that she wasn't found. Her colors would make her stand out more than his would. Yet he was the first to be found. He sure wish he had hidden better.
He ran around, his little paws making little sound on the ground. He turned around when he saw some spots. He had found the last one. Proud of himself, he made his way back to the temple. Their hiding spots would be his secret and he was not planning on telling the adults. They were definitely in really good hiding spots. Now he was all tired out from the hiding and running. A big yawn escaped him. "I gonna nap now," he announced to no one in particular.

Sighing, Anina wandered around a bit more and looked under what rocks she could lift and inside hallows of the trees. Tilting her head, she whined when she found nothing and came back to the two males. "So.. We can't find them here. Let's go, hm?"

Peering around in a grassy area, Isoba saw no sign of the cubs--although he himself blended into the grasses well with his golden coat.

Moving into the jungle, Isoba started peering into holes left by roots, under leaves, and through foliage. No luck...the cubs were clever, it seemed.

This was just humiliating, he thought to himself. He looked around at the adult leopards. They must be hating the fact that they are being out smarted by some cubs. He laughed. Why hadn't he caused panic like this when he was younger. It would have been entertaining watching others squirm. He made a mental note that if he or innocent Macaria had cubs he would teach them to cause as much mayhem as they could. As long as he wasn't involved he loved watching chaos around him.

Surely they'd be hiding in the jungle--the place practically begged for mischievous cubs to play hide-and-seek in it. Unfortunately, where Isoba looked was not where they were.

He sighed and lifted his paw away from the brush that he'd been investigating. No such luck. The little female from before trotted back over to his side, perky as ever. He forced a smile and gave her a slow shake of his head.
"No such luck here either."
He glanced to his first companion and chuckled. "Oh come now, I'm not that heavy."

As Isoba continued to fail to find a single cub, he could begin to see why the colony was so panicked. If they were this hard to find, they could definitely be in trouble instead of simply playing.

Slowly, and I mean slowly, Caius sat back up. He shook his head to get his thoughts back and then cat stretched. The male ALMOST made the mistake of saying something snarky back but decided to only mutter and go back to looking for the cubs.
"Yeah yeah yeah stone rear," Okay so it was hard to resist.

Sighing a little more, she nodded and then looked to his companion, giggling. Darting off ahead of them, she kept inspecting the really low places she knew she would hide if she was still a cub. She practically was after all! It honestly shouldn't be that hard to find them.
