Renivere felt that it was time to take off her mask. She pulled it off and set it down on a table where she could retrieve it later. "I have yet to free style! I believe that the union of our hands and the swaying to the sounds that reach our ears is all the minds need to think." Renivere explained.

She wasn't sure if that was how it worked but there were some people just moving about in complete randomness and just seemed to go with the beat. If that's what they call 'dancing' then Renivere could do it too!

"My family lives far, far, far away. Which is honestly best for everyone," Angela said laughing. "It's nice that you live close by though, I didn't know that."

"And I absolutely cannot picture you as a blonde. That's just...weird. Blondes are overrated anyway. I have to admit that I didn't give your name much thought. I mean, have you actually paid attention to some of the names of people in this school? I don't want to be mean but...some people really need to give their parents a good kick."

"I can't say much, though. Angela is normal enough, but my father had to give me some bizarre Fae name too. I just pretend it doesn't exist."

It wasn't that he hated dancing. Dancing was a large part of his cultural heritage on both sides really. It was something he'd been taught as a child as well. He just...had reached the point that he couldn't really let loose and do it in front of people anymore. He couldn't feel the music the way he did when he was a child--there were too many other things that crowded in--mostly worries about what people were thinking about him and if he looked stupid.

But at the same time, he discovered something very, very disturbing.

He couldn't say no to Renivere at all.

With a slight sigh, and a chuckle, he pulled his own mask off and set it on the table. Taking her hands, he led her to the dance floor. This was...going to be odd. And probably humiliating. Hopefully she had fun anyway.

"I wan't to stay here!" The girl exclaimed as she threw her hands up in the air. "I wan't to dance! Can you teach me how to dance Gray? I want to be like the big people," the small girl said with excitement. Of course she wanted to check on Puffy but she had no intentions on leaving the party anytime soon.

Somehow, in some MAGICAL way, Nash had managed to ditch Fin for a bit. The boy had been getting dressed in his dorm room and when the scarecrow insisted on coming as well Nash locked him in the bedroom. Mwahaha! He was free! Or at least, for a short time anyway.... he was hoping that maybe, he would be able to meet some new friends, so long as Fin didn't escape and ruin everything for him like he usually did.

Nash stepped into the ballroom and blinked. "Wow......" He stated, this was certainly an eye catching sight. There were so many beautiful ladies dressed in long beautiful dresses. The men looked nice too.

Not really knowing where to start off Nash found and empty table and sat down quietly, observing everyone.

If you look like a pirate,
then speak like a gentleman...



"Well, I suppose I could teach you to dance," Gray said. He stood and brushed off his trousers, taking her hands. "It's going to be a little awkward since you're a bit of a midget, so I think you'll have to stand on my feet, alright?"

"Do you think you can do it?"

...and no one will notice
you have a heart like a pirate too.

"Oh...right. Honey Melons doesn't sound like a euphemism for anything," Angela teased. "All I can picture right now is some blonde girl with really huge....tracts of land." Angela looked down at her chest. Yeah, her 'tracts of land' were a little lacking. She felt fortunate because it likely meant no one was going to call her Honey Melons anytime soon. Which meant a lack of homicide on her part. which was always good.

"Anyway. As for the cupcake bloke, I really think he was just sort of daft. He sort of called every woman he met things like that so I was hardly special. I'm fairly certain he 'has the hots' for anything with girly parts."

"And really, anyone who likes a short, violent girl probably just as bad taste anyway."

Renivere had no idea how to dance in a free way, but she could certainly try. There were some people who were pretty much flailing their arms about in a very peculiar way.

But the point was that she wanted to hold his hands a little longer. They were warm... like a blanket. Well to the best of her abilities, she tried to dance. It didn't amount to much and she probably looked kind of silly. But on the flip side, maybe she could make Sethrian laugh more!
