"But they keep yoru feet warm." Martha said. It was pretty uncommon for even a maid to not wear shoes. "You must have been a pretty low class servant to not even have shoes. Were you bad at your job?"

"That is a rude question." Emily said, frowning at her sister. "Miss Lily is a wonderful servant, she has not one anything wrong and she calms brother down. Obviously her previous master was an idiot." and looked up at Elliot. "She's been good, right?"

"Of course she has. Now it is late, you three should be getting ready for bed."

"But you said you would retire for the night as well." Annabelle said. "are you going to be staying up late again?"

"Of course not, now say good night to Lily and go to your room, I'm sure your nannies are waiting for you."

The girls frowned, saying their good nights to Lily and kissing their brother before leaving, Elliot closing the door behind them. "Pay their comments on your stockings no mind. They have ruined their own clothes as well so they are hypocrites." and sat back down, he had to finish these papers before he could sleep. Stifling a yawn, ears flicking back he began to write again, grabbing a new inkwell from a drawer. a tired gray was in the lamps, but he continued working. He'd be a horrible prince if he went to sleep when he wanted, work first, then rest. he was going to start this pattern all over again.

Elliot smiled, feeling Lily's warmth and continued to write despite the drowsiness, rubbing his eyes frequently and double checking recently written sentences. If he made a mistake he'd have to start all over, but after an hour and a half of writing, forcing his penmanship to remain legible, he finished. "Lily, I've finished." He said softly. Had the other fallen asleep? he smiled gently, kissing her head. Maybe the prince had to carry her back to the room. "Lily," he whispered, running a finger along the edge of her ear.

"Thank you." He said softly, standing up as well and stretching, hearing a pop or two in his spine before walking over and opening the door. "I apologize for keeping you up so late, Lily, I really am." And exited into the hallway, muffling another yawn with his fist. "I did not expect myself to be so tired, perhaps it was dealing with my sisters." he muttered, walking up the stairs and into his room, wasting no time in changing out of his clothes. "Will you be sleeping on the floor again or in your bed tonight, Lily?" Of course it didn't cross his mind she'd get into his.

She was happy to spend time with him sitting on the floor, it made him smile. She was just happy sitting there and doing nothing, or reading a book on mathematics. Had she been his sisters she'd have to demand his attention and force him away from the papers, it was a nice change of pace. Pulling he nightshirt over his head he went to the side table where the new pitcher and bowl was, pouring water into it before washing his face. "I do not think even your services could wake me up, Lily." No, he would probably just go to bed. "Oh, but if you're going to sleep on the floor, take your sheets with you, I think the maids are getting annoyed that I keep on using my own." And chuckled, drying his face and walking back over to his bed.

Elliot glanced over at lily, catching the smile and tensing. "Lily that seems to be your answer for ev--" and paused, ears perking slightly as the teens lips pressed against his own, feeling Lily start to grind. The prince knew how this was going to end, his body sitting down against his will, prisoner to his hormones. A groan, feeling the other's hand, he knew very well how this was going to end.

Elliot was panting, hands releasing the sheets which had been clenched. "Is this going to become a habit every night?" He questioned the bentien, ripping his sheets and pillows off the bed and moving to the floor, wrapping himself and the bentien in them. "Just go to sleep." he muttered, kissing her ear before wrapping his arms around her. He wasn't angry at her for once about what she'd done this time, he merely nuzzled his face into her neck and laid there on the floor. He glanced around before smiling. "My room is large as well." And chuckled, finally deciding to get some sleep.

Elliot slept peacefully, curling up when the warmth was lost, head under the blankets and ears poking out from the top. Surprisingly he slept a lot better on the floor than the bed, but also on the floor he had Lily to cuddle, so that was what probably aided in the well deserved sleep. What did wake him up was the smell of food, silver eyes peeking over the blanket first at Lily, then at the breakfast tray. A single lazy blink before he sat up, ears lopsided as he looked up at his bed. A groan as he grabbed the muffin. "We will need to eventually sleep on a bed, Lily." And looked at her sleepily, biting into the bread. "You are not hungry, or forgot to grab food for yourself?"

Elliot gave a tired shrug, not going to argue or complained as he sleepily continued to eat. He needed more rest, and his cheek was a little sore now that the wounds had scabbed over. "Hm?" he questioned, looking at the boy who was now obviously taller. Elliot was slouching, he was tired, that was his excuse. "When you came here, Lily, I said that you were not a bentien but my companion. So until you realize that I will continue to sleep on the floor instead of my bed." Silver eyes looked at her, the prince licking the crumbs off his fingers. "I do this on my own free will, as you have the right to do things on yours." He crawled toward her, lips pressing against her cheek. "You will grow used to it. What time is it, by the way?" He asked, finally standing up and looking towards the glass ceiling. It was still morning, much to early he felt, but that was probably because he had stayed up to finish working on the papers.

"I would sleep in the bed, yes." he said, removing the night clothes, opening his wardrobe and grabbing at the fabrics gently before pulling out what he would wear after she had healed his wound. He could only smile, not acknowledging it immediately as he dressed himself, turning back at her, holding out another dress for her to wear. "It is not bad to heal others, Miss Lily. Get dressed, this outfit brings out your eyes." and grabbed the ham from the tray this time with his free hand, dropping the package in her lap as he sat back down on the sheets.
