Azriel relaxed a little at Lilith's apology, and even spoke a bit cheerfully. "It's alright. It's just time to start figuring out something else. There's always got to be another way...er, which stays within the 'rules', of course. Ahaha." However, she tensed up again at her last statement, and began to wear a nervous smile.

Eloysio chuckled. "Relax, Azriel. Don't jump to the worst possible conclusion so much. She simply must think I might be quite the chatterbox." ^_^

She made a bit of a nervous laugh and responded to Lilith again in a joking manner, "...Oh! Ahahaha...r-right. Y-you have no idea! Ehehehe!" Perhaps encouraged by her subconscious to keep from being pressed any further, she stood up as a gesture to end the conversation. "Well, thank you for your time, Lilith. Even if we really didn't get anywhere, I appreciate it. I'll, uh...see you around then!" After a slight, polite bow, she walked away.

Later along her way, she could be seen skimming over the book she borrowed from Sybak's libraries as she walked. She was starting to pass the weapon shop, but as she was so absorbed in her skimming, she hadn't noticed Rhone and Max at a nearby tree. She stopped for a moment when she was right in front of them, closing the book and putting a hand to her stomach as she felt a hunger pang. Then, she began to talk to herself out of habit. "I suppose a trip to the dining hall is in order...hadn't eaten since morning after all. Heh, I'm surprised I'm still getting hungry, considering that..."

Sirea was thankful that she didn't make Kai feel uncomfortable with her question. "I could imagine. I would feel that way as well. Quite honestly, I was frightened when I first saw myself as a werefolk. It felt like I was in a nightmare I couldn't wake up from." She felt that it was fair to tell him how she felt about her own experience. Her fox ears flattened a bit for a moment as she thought about it. "It did take me a while to get used to some of my werefolk instincts, though the difficult part is dealing with how people look at me differently." She looked up at the sky for a moment. "Yet I'm not used to having shown kindness. Meeting Lloyd and Colette...and the kindness they've shown as well as the kindness Azriel and the others have shown still feel like a dream that's too good to be true." She placed a hand on her stomach just as her stomach growled. She reminded herself that she would get something to eat at the dining hall soon. She then made a sheepish smile as she glanced back at Kai. "I don't think I could imagine not having the need to eat or sleep." Her smile then soon faded. "Though I guess the only good thing with not having the need to sleep is that no nightmare could bother you."

Azriel's wings flared with a loud flap as she jolted in surprise, and almost dropped the book. Looking up to Rhone, she answered, "Er...n-nothing worth mentioning, really!" In a pause, she began to wonder if there was something specific on his mind. After all, he did approach her instead of staying seated in his previous spot and calling out to her. With a more curious look in her eye, she continued, "Was...there...something you needed?"

Azriel narrowed her eyes at Rhone, seemingly a bit slighted by some of his remarks. "I beg your pardon, but 'stupid'?" Her eyes then suddenly widened, making her expression one that was sort of aghast. "Oh for heavens' sake it's really that easy?" he moaned, in regard to how he briefly interjected through Azriel. ("Heheh...yeah, boss, it's that easy," Oscuro chuckled.) "I am so sorry." Her free hand covered her face, and in a moment, she was back. sweatdrop "Aheheh...well, we'll admit we have no idea if it's even going to turn out exactly as planned, but it doesn't sound that crazy to us."

Azriel glanced over warily at Max for a second, then faced in the opposite direction from her. For good measure, she took Rhone by the hand and tugged him a few steps forward in the hopes they went out of earshot. She didn't have anything against Max; she was just uncomfortable letting anyone else hear what she was about to say. Leaning toward Rhone, she brought her voice almost down to a whisper. "The one half of the plan we managed to find was an alchemical process to make an entirely new, 'blank' body for Eloysio's soul to inhabit. The other half we still need to find is how to get that body to accept and contain it...I mean, how do we make that happen for a body that'll have no will of its own to begin with?"

Straightening up and becoming more relaxed in posture, she brought her voice back to normal volume. "Anyway, this private conversation you want with Eloysio...maybe you guys can take care of it while I go grab a bite. Uhm...how's it gonna happen? I remember the door thing, but...is there anything else that needs to be done?"

Azriel blinked, at Rhone's whispering at first, but she also noticed that fake grin. However, it was so fleeting that she didn't dare question it, and thought it was just her imagination.

Her otherselves seemed to not have noticed either, and Eloysio was staring down toward the headspace's "floor" in contemplation with a hand to his chin. "I beg to differ...Chiaro and Oscuro are parts of her soul, and if parts of the soul move away from the core, I can only imagine that could be debilitating in some way...sure, there is a link established, but that doesn't change that parts of the soul would be broken away..." It sounded like he was more or less thinking out loud rather than trying to direct his commentary at Rhone.

Azriel pressed a hand to her stomach again, feeling that hunger pang intensify just slightly. If she held off any longer, it would start growling loudly. "Okay, soooo...you guys can clear that out while I go take a break in the dining hall. Umm...expect him in a few minutes, then!" She parted with a wave and a cheerful smile that had a hint of awkwardness to it.

Upon reaching the dining hall, Azriel's hunger drove her to proceed swiftly toward the buffet tables, leaving her unable to notice (for the moment) whether or not anyone else from the group was still around. She looked over the available food with intrigue, finding the traditional Mizuhoan dishes very different from what was normally served everywhere else. She mostly had her eyes on the noodle dishes, since she had an affinity for pasta dishes. But she also regarded the sushi and takoyaki with a curious eye.

Rin was having some idle chatter with Colette until he spotted Azriel had arrived. "Heeeey, Azriel! Nice for you to join us." He grinned as his feline ears twitched a bit.

"Oh hello, Azriel. Glad you can join us." Colette said with a smile.

"You gotta try that sushi. It's amazing!" He then shifted his gaze to Eduardo. "What's the matter, Ed? Haven't decided what you wanted?"

The others calling out surprised Azriel a bit, though not so much as to cause a sudden jolt. Her wings, staying folded, merely raised slightly. The company of that many people wasn't something she was very used to. She slowly turned to face them and blinked.

"Oh! Um...yeah, I was just..." Turning back to the buffet for a few seconds, she grabbed a large bowl of ramen and a few pieces of sushi and takoyaki. Content with her selection, she made her way toward the table to take her place with the others. "Uh...th-thanks for having me!" Taking a silent moment to look around, she was slightly confused to find bacon on Eduardo's plate, as she didn't see any at the buffet.

Eloysio also used this moment to address Azriel. "Observing these people is slightly in my interest...but I suppose now is the best time for me to see Rhone, is it not?"

She began to stare off into space. "...Huh? Oh yeah, um, sure. Go right on ahead!" Realizing how responding to him out loud might have looked, she shook her head and grinned sheepishly as she looked back at the others. "...whoops. I was talking to Eloysio. A-anyway, you guys been out here long? I figured after what happened this morning, I thought most of us would opt for a quick meal then sleep."

Then, glancing past the people she was with, Azriel caught sight of the Reaper and her undead partner entering the dining hall. "Oh hey, Lilith and Kai! Deciding to take a bite just now?" After having asked that question, she blinked at herself confusedly, wondering if the latter really did need to eat, being undead and all.

((If anyone needs a refresher, the "thing that happened this morning" was the fight with Vance's side antagonist. Good lord, we've been in the same day for months.
