The yelling was loud - apparently people had been deafened by the shriek from the enormous creature. Which meant that he had at least managed to escape that, but the raging headache that pounded through his skull was not exactly a romp through the daisies either.

The first person Fritz saw as he scrambled towards the massive hole was Josh attempting to haul someone up - which was good, he supposed, since it meant he hadn't been one of the ones to actually fall in.

Except that also meant there were others still holding on for dear life - and were there any that had actually fallen all the way through? What happened if they had?

Fritz did not want to think about that.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON, DAMMIT?!"

"MY ******** HAND, YOU MORON !"

Ginger seemed quicker on the uptake, so he steeled in as best he could while she grapped purple p***y and started to lever herself out, heels of his boots digging in to try not to slide right into the hole.

That would be bad. He had no want to fall in and die from... space.

....How weren't they all dead yet, actually ?<******** hell.

After Gemini Beta and Zue were out, he'd focus back on Ricky.

(( *has been gone most of the day, sorry!* ))

Magical space Zodiac people and a cat. And magical space beer. What the hell. She'd been deafened simply by the sheer amount of what the ******** going on in the space of... however long she was there in the Wherever It Was. The Surrounding? Yeah. Whatever.

She'd lost track of time. In that moment, a giant... what was that? A whale?! showed up and nearly deafened everyone with its sound. Her head was splitting and all she could do was run. Run far away as fast as she could. Tears would sting her eyes and her head would feel like it was in a vice, but she couldn't help but be utterly terrified. Who were these people? What was this thing?

What was happening!?

Ricky followed Gemini Beta's actions and grabbed hold of Josh's other hand to help drag himself out of the pit. He sat on the edge for a brief second, panting. He still couldn't hear a thing, but he was thankful as hell to be alive. He rolled over to get away from the ledge and couldn't resist - he wrapped his strong arms around Josh in a tight hug and twirled the boy around, the only way to truly express his gratitude.

"OH LORD, THANK YOU, THANK YOU," he screamed into his ear at a deafening volume. Ricky, however, was unaware of how loud he was being as per usual and couldn't hear himself. "I AIN'T DYIN' TODAY, NO ********' WAY."

Well if was really necessary. She pulled herself up onto her knees and crawled to the hole. People were shouting loudly and it was making Mary's head start to hurt even worse. She reached out a hand towards Raven and said in a very clear voice.

"GRAB IT, SHE WHO IS THROWN!"

She may, or may not have shouted that for the world to hear as well.

Sheila’s mind was whirling from the recent events. First the person in yellow appeared -- how did he managed to run that fast?! Then another, followed by two more -- she could barely keep up with what was going on, her jaw dropping open as she simply stared open mouthed at the Zodiac senshi that came to investigate the group. Sheila made no move to move towards them, choosing instead to stand perfectly still and watch them in mute amazement.

At least, until the path shook. She shrieked and failed to keep her balance, scrambling to her feet soon after she fell. Sheila had turned to Marienrode for answers when the werewolf-teacher shoved her out of the way.

Of course, “out” was a relative term. The supersonic beam blasted the road, and Sheila found herself falling right into it! The silence she heard wasn’t broken by the scream of pure terror that tore itself free from her throat, her hands shooting out to grab what there was of the rainbow road.

One of her hands missed. Sheila screamed again as she began to slip, indecision freezing her in place as she didn’t know whether to try and grab for the ledge again with her other hand or to cling there and wait.

Candice could see people that were not as lucky as her; she noticed some that were clenching their head in pain while others... were hanging from the bridge?!

Immediately, she went over close to the edge, trying to help the first person she saw (Raven). She saw that someone else was struggling to help someone out so she went over to try and help as well. Candice didn't look over the edge but held the girl's hand and pulled, hoping that she could pull her to safety. "Try to hold on," she screamed, not knowing that the girl was deaf. "Just hold on!"

She didn't know that the girl she was helping was a girl she met in high school before graduating. Someone she had been friends with. All she knew at the moment was to get people out of trouble, and the hanging girl was one of them.

(( Edited slightly ))

Her eyes opened wide as she felt someone, something touch her. She screamed again without sound, at least to her own ears, everyone else around was likely to hear her with all of the ruckus she was making (provided they weren't just as deaf as she was). Regina could feel herself slipping again, just the same, and then she was grasping, grabbing... A hand. Was that a hand?

For once, Zue didn't have anything to say. He didn't hear her quip about suicide, he didn't understand what else was going on; but what he did know, was that Mackie had his scuff, and that he didn't need to cling anymore. When the Zodiac drew him in close, Zue latched right on to her, all four sets of claws digging right in. Oh thank god! Mostly solid ground! Well, mostly solid ground; solid body! Squishy body, but fir---SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP SOLID GROUND. His fur was still fluffed out to everywhere, his thick tail was so floofy it put a feather duster to shame, and his blue eyes were wide as saucers.

Virgo was glad to see her teammates getting up, but not so glad to hear people screaming like they were about to die. What had happened? She was really, legitimately confused now.

She was not going to put down the Princess. No sir.

------

The moment Marienrode saw Sheila in the pit alongside her, she wanted to cry. The realization that this was real was not as crushing as knowing she had inadvertently pushed the girl into this pit with her. No, all Marienrode knew was that she had to get out, if only to help the St. Magdalena's student escape the hole created in the rainbow path.

"Sheila, grab for the ledge," she yelled--or thought she did. She felt the words leave her mouth, knew intellectually she was shouting them, but didn't hear them. Had the whale's attack left her deaf? Oh Christ. She had to get up, and she adjusted one hand and then the other before attempting to pull herself up. If only she'd picked up on the gym memberships her mother kept sending her way; this was not easy.

Still, much easier than hanging there until she slipped and fell.

Amy was able to stop the worst of the shaking, but she really wasn't worth much right now. She knew she was alive, and she knew that Jocelin and Regina were in trouble. She had to force herself back to the present, the ringing in her ears making it hard to focus on anything but the pain in her head.

"Joce? Regina?" She crawled her way over to where she thought they were bumping into a stranger here or there before she made it. And she was glad that she did, because Regina was about to fall for forever. She knew she didn't have much strength left, but like hell she wasn't going to try. She reached down to help Joce with Regina, while also making sure that they weren't going to pop right into that hole without at least something to grip on to. "C'mon, Regina. Breathe...breathe..." It helped to keep her calm as she did her best to pull Regina up and out.

Raven glanced up at the two hands that were suddenly thrust down at her. She heaitated, then released one of her slight holds onto the road, grabbing Mary's outstretched hand, then swallowing, released her other hold, grabbing onto the other hand. (Candice)

Oh!

It was that one girl...Can...Candle? No...that wasn't right, eh. It was close enough. The blonde began wiggling, trying to pull herself up. When she finally made it, she flung her arms around both girls.

"Agrabah! Candle! Thank you so much! You two saved my life! I owe you so much!"

Layton sniveled a bit more and whined even more, "C-Callum it huuuurts. My head ..." Another wave of the headache, nausea hit her. She cringed a bit. It felt like her head was trying to split itself open.

At Callum's request though, she tried to stand up. She nabbed his hand and began the difficult ascent. She would've jumped off the bridge if he sounded confident enough, so standing was a simple request. It was hard though. The whole while her head was pounding, like a hammer trying to knock her back down onto the ground. She could do this though. She would be strong.

She leaned against her brother for support, as she needed it when Felix opened his mouth to scream at everyone to stop screaming. She reached out to awkwardly pat Felix and say, "I-it will be okay. J-just p-please don't ... yell again. I mean you can if you want to I guess I can't really stop, it's just your voice is really ... uhm ... " She buried herself into Callum's backside, as though hiding from the devil himself. She didn't want to argue ... but her head ... it ...

All of this yelling was only succeeding in making Fritz's headache worse. He felt as if his skull were going to split open from all of the constant ringing, but he attempted to studiously ignore this anyway, still wobbling towards the hole.

He went for the two people closest to him, distance wise.

"Hey!" Fritz shouted over the din of people yelling and screeching and the general mayhem that was ensuing. There was a woman who seemed to be several years older than himself - the one from earlier, who had seemed very take-charge and intelligent - as well as a girl who looked as if she could perhaps be one or two years younger, still in high school.

"Hey, grab my hand!" Fritz said, leaning over the pit in attempt at helping. How much he could actually do was questionable, but he was not about to sit back on his heiney and do nothing.

She was glad when she felt someone else beside her trying to pull Regina back up out of the hole in the floor. Her ears were still ringing and she couldn't hear anything over the high pitched screech but she could almost see now.

It was Amy. She hadn't fallen through the crack and was alright too.

It was probably a good thing she couldn't hear Regina babbling about the damn whale and more crap out of that stupid book. She was going to tempted to throw her copy out of the window when she got home.

Digging her knees into the rainbow she pulled with all her strength trying to get the other girl back up and out of danger of falling off into space
