Rahu was running, and running with no destination in mind. He was running because his mind was muddled from the last meeting with Aruna where he said dear Aruna to her. Why had he said that to her, when he hadn’t a care about her at lest that’s how he felt. Had he really been thinking when he had said it or was it a simple reaction that was subconscious that just kind of came out? No it couldn’t have been at all or that’s what he wanted to think as he continued running along the rivers bank. No if that’s what had happened then that might mean that he had some good lurking about him and that part still cared for Aruna. NO he wouldn’t let that be, couldn’t if he was to stick to being the cold hearted malicious, foal tempered stallion his is. Tossing his head, he ignored the fact the area was wet where he was running since he was running close to the edge of the water. Foolish mistake on his part as he slipped once, but caught himself, snorting he still pressed on, wanting to clear his head. He knew it was smart to stick near a water source when running so that he could get a drink when done but it was stupid to be right next to it while running and he ending up slipping badly and smacking his head on a lager rock near him. Now what was to happen now to the dark stallion as he laid there knocked out from the blow to the head and no one about, not even his hawk Ra.

Aruna had decided to take a short walk for the day, feeling a little weird to be thinking about Rahu again. Delano had told her he'd needed to be somewhere for a time, and had told her this about a month or two ago; she felt quite lonely, and the longer she was apart from her mate the more she felt as if she was going to go crazy without him by her side. Delano had been her 'link to salvation' from her past issues with Rahu, and she felt as if he was disappearing from her. She knew she should trust Delano more, but with how long he was gone, she was beginning to feel the feelings she had locked away for Rahu slowly rush back; she had put her past with Rahu behind her, but that didn't mean she didn't dwell over it from time to time. Mostly, with Delano, when she would dwell over the past, Delano kept her from wanting to return to those harsh days, for she felt that strong bond she and Rahu had; they had the strongest bond she knew from any other Soquili (besides her father and mother of course... but they were mates, so that didn't quite count), and as she walked, she stumbled suddenly, and wondering what it was that could have caused her to stumble, she looked back and down, and her eyes widened upon seeing a very familiar, dark-color coated stallion. "Rahu!" she whispered, scared for him. He was plainly unconscious and knocked out... what was she to do!?

Rahu only stured slightly and grunted a bit. he wasn't awake only sturing as he still was unconscious as memories of old came back. huh,whats this him in love, no that wasn't right. What!! With Aruna, no that wasn't right ether; it couldn't be.... could it?! No it truly couldn’t be right, he could never love anyone. But it kept invading his mind while unconscious which caused him to sture about more. Even more flashes from that time came back to him. Aruna confessing her love fore him, and him denying her despite the fact deep down back then he had wanted to do others wise. But it was he blasted pride, arrogance and dark heart that kept him from doing different. Now he started to mutter incoherent words to himself as he started to wake just a little.

Worrying about Rahu kept her from thinking about her mate Delano, although her mind was already hazy from the emotion of feeling extremely lonely from the absence of Delano by her side. "Rahu! Rahu, wake up! Rahu!" she called, wondering how she'd be able to wake him up. She couldn't tell if he was bleeding, and wasn't sure how he came to be unconscious, but... but... She started into the river water for a pointed time before it suddenly dawned on her panicked, hazed mind that she could use that to help revive Rahu. Looking around until she found a good sized leaf to scoop up the water, she stepped around the Arabian stallion carefully. Bending slowly, she took a little water and then splashed it on Rahu's face. "Rahu!" she called again, a worried look embedded in her eyes when she noticed that he wasn't yet moving... and then she heard him mutter incoherently as she stepped around him once more, and bent down to nudge him awake, nearly nuzzling him through habit (because she and Delano were very affectionate with each other, it was kind of hard not to, and besides, she had a very deep bond with this stallion, so it didn't occur to her that she probably shouldn't do it) and continued to call his name softly. "Rahu. Rahu, wake up. Please. Rahu!"

Rahu had barely felt the splash of water upon his face and suddenly when feeling someone or somethign touchign his and callign his name, his eyes snapped out and out of his daze. scrambling to his feet, he was now very much on edge after what he had going on in his unconsious mind and swayed a bit on his feet now blinking a bit as he looked at Aruna." ......... what the hell happened?" his head hurt really bad and yet he couldn't remeber how it happened and as of current only remebered waking up to being flat on the ground for whatever reason and then the flashbacks.

"Rahu!" Aruna said for the last time, relieved he was okay. "I don't really know; I just found you here, unconscious. You had me worried sick," she said, regaining her composure. Her tail and mane looked slightly frizzled due to her blind, mental panic at seeing Rahu's state, but now that she was sure he was all right, she calmed a bit and tossed her braids and tail slightly to get them into a more acceptable appearance as she scanned Rahu up and down. "I think you might've been runnnig or something and slipped... I'm not sure, but you looked like you hit your head..." Around this point, she'd completely forgotten Delano as she approached him and began to check him for closer observation, not realizing what exactly she was doing.

whaa!? he had her worried about him... that was weird. shaking his head a bit to rid the dizzyness from himself, it only made it worse an dhe winced a little from the head rush. " that would explain why i was on the ground and head hurts." his dark coat hide the fact he had smack his head hard enough to cut and start some bleeding. when she got closer to him it only caused those feelings to pop up more that where from his flash backs. " i'm fine... i think, it jsut i can't remeber a thing except things i have a feelingwhere in the past but feel like its the present." closing his eyes, he attempted to calm himself and get in control.

"Well, yes," Aruna said softly, trying to comfort him by speaking quietly so that his head wouldn't throb even more if she spoke loudly. "Are you sure you're all right, Rahu?" Delano had been pushed to the back of her mind; Rahu was of far more concern right now; after all he was her long time best friend... right? Somehow, she couldn't seem to recall that was his title. It was as if her mind had gone on lockdown since Delano's absence from her side. "What?" she said, worried even more now. "But you're Rahu. Injuries hardly phase you... much. You've got amnesia..." she glanced around, frowning as she tried to think of a way to help his head wound. "I think you better take a short swim in the lake I saw before I came here. C'mon." She looked at him, urging him to follow her so that he could care for his injury.

Rahu opened his eyes again. " dispite that had injury im fine i guess." he blinked a moment. " maybe i do but i feel myself but it's just........." trying not to move his head too much, he gave a slow nod. " ... alright." followign her and going silent while his mind buzzed around with feelings that hadn't been there before but he felt as if they had always been there. was he really having these feelings or where they caused by the head injury? where some other thoughts running in his mind but also it made him wonder if really it just helped him to realise the feeling shad just been locked away in his mind. he couldn't tell but he was still dazed and shocked.

"Here," she said, indicating the lake. Not only was the freezing water good for his head injury, but it would probably help him calm down and wake him up a bit. "You're also probably thirsty since the body uses most of its water reserves to try and heal the broken, torn areas," Aruna explained quietly, observing him. Something continued to nag at her to tell her that she shouldn't be so comfortable with him like this, to the point of them being lovers, which subconsciously, she knew couldn't and shouldn't be true. But she ignored the thought and focused on the now and present happenings; there was no time for second guessing.

Rahu didn't say a word but went into the cold water that made his freezing cold. his body shivered a bit as he went in a bit deep and sighed. what in the hell was wrong with him? why was he having these feelings that shouldn't be there? why was he wanting to once again be close with her? getign away from the deeppart now, he went to the shallow part and just laid there mind buzzing still with feelings and questions.

Aruna followed Rahu into the freezing water and laid next to him before she began to nuzzle him on his cheek, doing everything on a conscious level automatically yet, at the same time, not really even knowing what she was doing. "Rahu, are you all right? You've been acting a little strange~" she said, almost licking his cheek but turning away at the last second. What was she doing??? She should be doing this with... with who? For some reason, she knew she wasn't supposed to be doing this and yet, at the same time, she felt like she really wanted to... for a long time. Her locked up emotions began to boil up to the surface of her mind as she shifted to move closer to Rahu.

Rahu almost jolted in surprise when she came next to him and nuzzled his cheek. " yeah i think i am for the most part. and why would you say that....." indeed he was acting strange specialy nowthat she was so close to him. it only caused his emotions adn feelings to flare up more as she moved even closer to him. he didn't oppose though but then wanted to but all in the same he did nothign to stay away and allowed her to be close because it felt like he should be but then shouldn't.

Relieved, Aruna smiled at him gently as she practically laid against him, feeling very comfortable and warm even though they were both in the cold, shallow areas of the lake. Night was upon them now as stars began to appear, along with the pale moon as it seemed to smile down at them for some apparent reason... or so it felt that way to her. "I'm glad you're all right... you scared me... you worried me, Rahu." She refrained from saying 'dear' and/or 'love' because she felt that didn't fit, somehow. Rahu's body was really warm, and it made her twitch slightly with an emotion she also felt half guilty about, but she didn't know why, either.

Rahu didn't say anything back as right now his emotions where beyond a boiling point with her so close to him. nudging her he slipped out from beside her and got up and was dripping wet now from the cold water. " that wasn't my intention but i still cant recall anythign really except..." what in the world was he doing, was he actualy just going to go with his feelings? no he shouldn't but he felt that he should though he really didn't know why they had come about. " that i ......" letign his sentance trail off now, he turned and loooked at her.
