“Enough of this. Hold tight.” Leopard's Eye said to Hypnos, as the suddenly four-legged Guardian closed his eyes for a moment. It took only a thought for flames to jump up around him, crawling up his fur until Hypnos was riding atop a fiery red blur of a Leopard. With his permission to be there, she would find the flames cool and unthreatening as they danced around her and covered her small frame.
One shake threw the last remnants of lava from him, and he began his descent with slow, purposeful steps. It was a prowl more than anything, a predatory gait that was carrying Leopard's Eye and Hypnos down the mountain side. The ground rumbled with each step, the land perfectly in tune with it's Guardian. Where his claws fell, the rock opened up to pour a red carpet of lava before him.
The Guardian looked furious, eyes blazing white and fiery tail lashing back and forth. Which would have been bad enough, even if he hadn't been elephant-sized while doing it.
And he was coming for all of them.
((A large Leopard made of fire is riding a lava slide down the mountain. He looks like he kind of wants to eat your toes.))

The librarian nodded his head slowly, looking like he was likely to fall unconscious while they were struggling along. He was finding it difficult to take a proper breath, coughing and the pain of his battered body combining to make it so.
He walked with them slowly, but they didn't get far before looking back behind them to spot something strange moving down the mountain, though the smoke and flames, which seemed to be coming from the form itself, made it difficult for his eyes to focus on it.
"Jesus Christ, is that a lion?"

"Not as fine as I will be when I kill that two-bit-cornerstanding twit in the transparent mini skirt. Tell me.. is it -mandatory- that so many of the senshi look like they belong on street corners?"
He paused and loaded a smoke pellet into the sling shot that appeared in his hand and fired it at Sailor Polaris to obscure her vision further than the ambient air would already be doing.
His eyes widened to see the lava pouring down the mountain...with the child on it's back.
"God... is there -nothing- they will not resort to...recruiting CHILDREN." He said disgusted and in horror.
"Far be it from me to be pushy but... this might be a fantastic time to run for high ground, of find someone else to -stand- on.

With the resurgence of the angriest guardian in Elysion came a blessing for everyone involved to either stop him, or get the hell out of the way. The ground still shook but your feet were surer on the ground. For Leto, this was a blessing that she could save as many as possible from beneath Leopard's destructive wave, but it seemed to pass her by. Perhaps she was now too powerful?
Exhaustion and pain washed away in what was an almost supernatural burst of adrenaline. You wanted to move, you wanted to get up, you wanted to finish this fight and take possession in the name of whatever cause it was you were actually fighting for.
If you even knew what that meant.

Leto stared down into the gaping hole in the ground after the negaverser that just plunged to his doom. "Oh s**t..." did she seriously just kill someone? She groaned and clung to her side, her ribs aching and likely broken. And then the ground started rumbling; this time different than the earthquakes that were happening throughout this entire thing. Her gaze slowly raised towards the volcano and her eyes widened in complete and utter disbelief as she watched a giant leopard stalk down the side. With every step more and more lava was spilling out of the mountain, making it's way towards her and everyone around her.
She forced herself to her feet. Somehow, she wasn't tired anymore. The pain in her side was bearable and she felt something inside her that made her want to push to fight. Fight that giant ******** leopard coming right at her? She took a few steps towards him, walking into the cloud of smoke, walking towards the group of negaversers that were watching the leopard and attacking other senshi. She wasn't sure what the hell her gut was telling her, but she felt like she had to do something.

The surge of adrenaline was a god send, he barely yanked Alkaid out of the way of most of the lava, they scrambled out of the way with self preservation on their minds. But it was the need for victory that haunted him just as quickly. He needed something to target, something to outwit.
Even if it was another senshi who wasn't ON FIRE like that damn Leopard. There had to be something...Something he could do rather than scrambling and jumping around dodging lava and what was left of rock monsters.
"DAMNIT..." He swore. "I don't know what to DO."
It was with some satisfaction that he watched one of the senshi try and clamor up onto their temporary perch. There was no personal malice in it when he used the increased adrenaline and agility to slam a boot into the young man's chest, topling him back into the lava. Had he not fallen, twisting face first to try and catch himself it might have been a rather 'scream-ey' death.

A path, a path was going to be nice. As long as the rocks that one of the senshi seemed to be shooting out at everywhere didn't block them as much as the lava was doing everywhere else. Or no one else decided to get ideas to cause more trouble for them.
"A lion?" Sheldon chocked on the same air that uttered that question, sending him into a new fit of coughs and wincing. Why was there a lion here? But really, should he be surprised with such new ways of absurd happening now? He dared not to ask, nor turn his head to see what Tony was talking about.
And then, it hit him like a wave or a pulse and he found himself blinking with both eyes free of earlier irritation. He felt, well better, not completely renewed but there was a burst of energy within him that came from no where. "Probably best to avoid the lion also," he announced with an odd sense of vigor, taking a few new steps towards their goal of survival.

"Okay Big Kitty!" was all that the child said.
The small child held on tightly to Leopard's Eye, her face staring off firmly in the direction of all of the people. Big Kitty was amazing and she trusted Big Kitty with everything. Her trust was no surprise so when the flames began to fall around her body, dancing against her skin she didn't flinch. They were a surprising though and the feeling made her giggle a bit as the cool feeling on her skin was so different than what she had been used to during her stay here. Laughter slowly died down as the child's body became used to the feeling and she sat proudly on top of him as he slid down the volcano. It would have been a rather strange look though, had anyone noticed the child up on top of the beast that appeared to either really like toes or extremely dislike. She was like some mythical rider from a story book, which made the small child's heart beat with joy.
Big Kitty was seriously big now. And scary, at least to anyone other than Hypnos. To her he was wonderful, and comfy! She had this strange look on her face as she looked down at all of the people. They could just end this all if they just left, then Big Kitty would be happy and they would not have to to suffer. Nope nope, it was so simple! Her eyes looked behind them, and then to the side. She was watching. She had a small case of worry though. Big Kitty was big and his volcano mighty but she was ready to protect him if he needed it!
"Please," she cried out. "Just leave Big Kitty's home already. He doesn't want you here, this is not your home!"
No one had listened though. No one cared about the small senshi's warnings and Leopard's Eye was pissed, beyond pissed. He'd actually come down the volcano and now everyone was going to end up as his own personal chew toy until he had rid them of his realm. Why were adults so difficult?

-Without knowing it was coming, Polaris didn't have the slightest inkling to block the pellet that came zooming her way, doubling over into a whole new coughing fit as it hit. Her breaths were rasping and wheezing, trying to suck in any amounts of clean air she could manage while her free hand waved and flailed in an attempt to disperse the smoke as much as possible. She didn't realize it was the negaverse as opposed to the environment, but it was certainly enough to stop her in her tracks.
Eyes tearing from the double aggitation she could see the glowing blob coming down the slope even through the smoke. She'd already used her magic three times.. which got tiring even at it's wimpest stage.. but with this sudden boost of adreneline and utter survival drive throbbing in her head, she lifted her hands. One last time. Just one more time.
Her focus was the large boulder that had been big enough for her and Azzo to crouch behind. If there wasn't enough iron well.. she'd be pissing her energy into the wind. But hopefully there was. There just had to be.- "Super magnetic field!!" -The one large rock shivered and trembled on it's own, before breaking free from the ground and hurtling at Leopard's Eye. IF nothing else, maybe it would help slow the lava flow for others to escape.-

'Survival' was, in fact, the cause that Ever most frequently worked toward. It was 'his cause'. So. This infusion of energy, the need to take the place: he did it in survival's name, instead of for Senshi or Negaverse, good or evil.
He was supremely self-centered -- but then, who wasn't?
"...uh. That doesn't really look like a lion to me." But it did look dangerous. So Ever pushed Tony again, this time keeping a firm grip on him, so that they could trot along on the path instead of walking. "Let's...let's just steer clear."
Maybe that was a cave in the distance: at the very least, he was pretty sure he saw a crevasse...

Alkaid grimaced as Zink's attention fell onto Polaris in the distance in her barely-there skirt. "It seems to be an increasingly popular style as of late," she breathed out, thankful that her own fuku had a trace of modesty at least. She was so caught up in studying the senshi that she didn't see the flow of lava headed their way until Zink grabbed her and pulled her aside.
"This place is much worse than a war zone," the frown on her lips showed just how concerned she was, "it's like we have to fight the environment instead of our real enemy here." Then, of course, Zink was taking out his anger on some poor, unnamed Senshi and contradicted everything Alkaid had said.
"Well at least we have a place to get out of the way now," she was already climbing up the large rock that Zink had snatched the Senshi off of.

Gianfar didn't see the faces Ganymede was making. His focus was on getting to the top of the mountain. If they could just get to the top and protect Leopard's Eye from the ones atta--what was that? Gianfar squinted through the smoke, and then he saw it.
What the ******** hell was that!
His eyes widened and he backpedaled a bit, suddenly feeling much better than he had before. Ah...haha! Um! Oh! Was that the time? Oops! How silly of him! Gianfar forgot he had something over there he had to go take care of! Haha!
Though he didn't want to leave Ganymede or Atalas, he hoped they'd...well...follow? Gianfar ran in whatever direction would get him away from Leopard's Eye for now, not wanting to be killed by a raging leopard.

She was on the ground again, and some blonde Nega*itch was kicking and stomping at her face, and Scylla was really getting annoyed. There was lava, now, and the stupid effing cat was, well- it looked like he was surfing down onto the field, with the way he was walking. And he was huge. It made sense, really, Scylla reflected, as she reached out with her Kraken's arms and watched them wrap around the cute little Negaverse girl holding her close, briefly. "Don't screw with me, NegaGnat." And it was Scylla's pleasure to toss her into a lava pit. Well, that was most certainly one way to clear the field of the enemy. At least this was all a dream, right? Like... like the other one, except here there weren't small groups of people who needed to work together to survive. This place was a battlefield. Yet, thank goodness, the girl would just wake up with a few scratches, and it would all be fine. Right? (But it would teach her to harass Scylla when she was down. You don't mess with the buttwings.)
Oops, cats surfing made sense. She might just have a concussion. Scylla stared around the field, and sent the limbs sweeping out again. Just a little longer, she reminded herself. The itch of the limbs 'pain' was unbearable, but she had something left to do. What? It was like before, maybe, with a different field? The sun would come up and the battle would end. The Leopard wanted them to leave, all of them, and Scylla wanted to go. She really did. But no matter what a jerk the cat was, she wasn't gonna leave it to deal with the psychos by himself. After all- what happened if he was alone, and they kept attacking him. Did one leave someone behind? Could she even leave an enemy behind to the pain of having their soul ripped out for the energy-greedy Negas?
Could she even leave the Negas behind to suffer his wrath? ... Well, she could toss them all in the lava pit first. That would solve all the problems.
