Story of my life. And also, I have to say that I liked the guild announcement. Not sure if I'll enjoy getting them extremely frequently, but it did cause me to come to the guild, when I probably wouldn't have. (I'm not usually a frequenter of guilds. I just forget they exist.) Red Kutai Lots of things in a small, maroon or burgundy font. Your font size + color makes me feel the need to buy glasses. I move a good 6 inches closer to the screen to read what you put. -.-" And pestering JK made me laugh. It is, however, reassuring to know that what we spend time in discussing actually gets seen.

Quintafeira12 gataka Q: in your XP, do players alter their strategy/change rings often after being sent back to the Null? You can see where I'm going with this :V Where did you see that question? And yes, I do. Made it up. So, think it's a good idea? Thard_Verad .../ ... And I just had the most peculiar idea for a new Animated: Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-flailing Tube Man. Certainly would get attention, no? Depends on how fast them arms be flailin' :V

Re: Tube men: Flail velocity is based on their current action. Resting state is a slow, perhaps almost hypnotic flail. Movement causes a more rapid flutter. Attacks have a slow windup and a whip-like strike.
Onward. Regarding my Extreme Level thread, should I just set something up in the Test Forum?

>hypnotic flail
It'd be interesting to see players be forced to follow to the tube-man's position as a CC type effect or something.
And yes, I'd finish tweaking the formating and move it out by now. Well, I say I would, but I didn't move my own, eh...

Think some of MoGa's assets can be used in zOMG?
Think we could make MoGa suggestions and slowly turn it into a new zOMG! from the inside out?
Mate MoGa with zOMG! ? :V

WIP... I'm not sure where to post it. Here's the overall idea behind it: Quote: BAWLZ. The intent is to spice up battles. The mean is power-ups ("pups"), the kind that pops up at random whilst you play. They offer the opportunity to break out of the current status-quo, at any time, for better or worse, thus keeping the players engaged. One appears and you ask yourself "Should I go for it? Should I run the hell away? What do I do? Where's my mommy?" no longer rinse-repeating that same old thing. Brings your brain back in the game. We could use some of that dope :V So, where?

So you mean... You're randomly playing, when suddenly, in the middle of the field, a little thing that you can touch, and grant you a health boot pops up,, something that is usually a glyph on RTSs, and you can try going for it? I'd very much like to have actually hard enemies first, but seems one more to had to the ever growing list of "please give us an interactive environment!" Hey Reg. Got my firt CL 18.4 ring today. I know I shouldn't, but I wanted to feel the power of holding one.

When you bop an enemy on tha head, sometimes something falls, codename "Bawl", and if somebody, anybody, hits it... fun happens. Hmm...Say a "Firebawl" comes out, hitting it will hurt and burn anything within range. Friend or foe. A significant change that fits the time frame of a single battle. I'm still musing over this. What do you mean by "hard"?

Augh! I want to ship out my Extreme thread, but... I find I have no idea how to go about it.
I've never made a thread of quite this scope before. The closest one was the volcano boss idea.

Reglare Excile *sigh* been bored, busy, and sick. @_@ How are things going? @_@ Been all kinds of absent, myself; apologies, if anyone missed me. sweatdrop I had a good friend of mine home from military deployment over the past few weeks, so I've been spending an inordinate amount of time away from home. I should be around a bit more, now, as he's headed back today - for better or worse. whee
How's everyone been, while I was out?
Now, Thard: can't say I'm really a lot of help in terms of threads; the threads I move tend to be discussion threads, more than actual suggestions - I really don't pose a lot of ideas, myself. sweatdrop That said, though, I don't generally bother with the Test Forum unless I'm planning on doing a whole page of posts on the first page; were you thinking of devoting a post to each instance, specifically, or sticking closer to the version you've already got? (Also, I realise I haven't posted there, yet; every time I start, I realise that there's more there to talk about than I've got time to post it in. It looks good, though - I just didn't want my absence to be mistaken for apathy. gonk )
As for power-up-powerups, I have to say I like the idea; but perhaps that's bias, as I've been playing quite a lot of Super Smash Bros. Brawl over the past couple weeks. Actually, it reminds me a bit of Atrash's Animated Loot suggestion (since they're "rewards" that you have to do the extra work to obtain), and the Clover Fluff suggestion that Val made a while back (an enemy that grants a buff to those who defeat it). There are a handful of interesting things that could be done with the concept that can't really be done otherwise (it works particularly well for things like nonscaling grants, like Stamina healing or granting Rage, as well as your 'Firebawl' idea). It may work best isolated to a particular area or instance (it's a great gimmick, but it may be overwhelming in large quantities), but that would depend, I suppose, on just how it's done...

Feeling bad about missing the Internet? What is this? Didn't you get a proper education? Act cheerful that you did so! One this the idea brings on that last bit about overwhelming is the possibility of "stockpiling" the bonus for later use in arena-like instances. I'm speaking, of course, of Hive mainly. This brings a huge load of more strategy to the gameplay, and it would with no doubt, clash with the notion that stockpiling too much of it causes LAAAAAG! In other words, it sounds something interesting to have there to pay mind to.
