Alarice "Obey me, or feel my wrath."  Some may question why the "all-powerful" Nero hadn't intervened in the current chaos of the world. In reality, the reason was because he was in a comatose state, seated on his throne but sleeping, his eyes closed and his head drooped to one side. In a way, he looked almost cute and innocent when he was asleep, contrary to when he was awake and a total smartass. He looked almost like his mother when he didn't have that smug, condescending look on his face.
This wasn't a self-induced sleep. An "Angel" had made her way into her abode while his mind was on other things and entranced him in her spell. Alarice now had him under her spell, and he was in this sleeping state since it was cast. She had her motives for doing this, though she came under the guise of punisher for his deeds with the princess of fire. This was indeed not the case. She intended to use his powers to further her own goals. She was an Angel, but she was far from pure. Lust for power had always driven her, and now she was aiming higher than higher rank of Angel. Indeed, her power was far under that of gods or seraphim, but having Nero under her control could push her beyond any. She could perhaps dominate the entire universe with the power this teenage boy possessed... So this wasn't good. Not at all.  (( OOC: ))

Unfortunately, for Phoenix, she hadn't actually sensed anything wrong for the dang longest time. She had figured his reasons for not stopping all the destruction was due to the fact he didn't want to 'destroy the balance' as he always went on about. Words she never actually understood, but wouldn't question. And due to her utmost respect she had for him, the young Phoenix was doing her best to not bother him if he needed alone time. Well, now it had been long past then, and she still hadn't seen him. That was when the worry started to set in, and with the help of her little shadow friend, Chippy, the Serenitian was teleported to the sanctuary after receiving no responses from Nero him self.
As she appeared there within the throne room of his sanctuary, the Phoenix's golden-crimson eyes opened slowly, as though she were afraid to see what might be here. There, not far from her fiance, who appeared to be in a deep slumber,as well as looking beyond adorable in the process.As if it were such a time to be thinking such things..! Her eyes would come to rest on a long pale-blond haired women, whom was set on looking at Nero.....with.....little clothing on, at that......What the hell? Without even knowing the situation, Phoenix made a gesture of her hand, as if something unseen was in her grasp, and out, appearing in mid air was the dark magic cloak which would slip right on in that instant, her dark hair now a crimson color, while floating embers continually floated about her hair. Flames too would begin to erupt around her, and had the mysterious one turned to her, she would now be faced with one pissed off Phoenix. Last, her hand grabbed yet another unseen item, until the hilt of a sword could be seen drawn out of it which burst into flame... "Who.....are you....Get away from him....NOW.." It wasn't really a question as it was so much a demand.

Alarice "Obey me, or feel my wrath."  Right as Phoenix had appeared in the Sanctuary, Alarice could feel her presence. Turning towards her, the Dominion didn't seem at all threatened. "Hello there... You must be the mortal who has felt the body of the divine. You and this one must have had fun on that night..." Her voice was gentle, but with an underlying tone to it. One that was hard to read. "You will not demand things of me. You are the Princess of Fire, Phoenix, of the Holy Kingdom of Serenity, but I am on a higher plane of existence than you. And you are a joke in rank compared to your sister, the Queen. Though she deserves punishment as well for mating with a fowl creature that belongs in hell..." That would be the demon, Jake Wolve. "However, I am Alarice, a Dominion Angel. I am on the second sphere of existence, lower than very few." Beginning to pace slowly, her gaze remained fixed onto Phoenix as she spoke. "I have been sent to deliver proper punishment to this naughty child. You see, gods are not allowed to fornicate or even engage in any form of love with mere mortals. His only option of love was to join with a Goddess in holy matrimony, or perhaps an Angel. It is my job to... Re-educate him. Or, cleanse his memory and heart of these petty infatuations and feelings. Do you understand? Now please, be off. I cannot deal with interferences." Good thing for her Phoenix wasn't very educated in these things in all likelihood or she may have found problems in her logic. Though even if she was completely truthful, Phoenix would obviously not let this happen without a fight. (( OOC: ))

Phoenix had to hold her tongue as she listened to the mysterious Angel speak, and soon explain certain..things to her. She may notice as Pheonix's own expression became all that much more angry, that the flames would only intensify, as well as the heat. "I will demand what ever I wish. You intruder..You are in our territory now. I don't give a damn who or what you are, your rank and power all mean nothing to me. The only thing that matters to me, is the one i'm going to protect from you...You wicked, twisted dark Angel.." Phoenix started to walk toward the throne where Nero was asleep in, if only to block him from her. "That's where your laws come to end..You don't seem to understand a single thing about Love. Just as I've told my father..You remind me of him, so stuck on you're laws, rules, royal traditions. I'm so sick of it. Nero is my one and only, and the only one who I treasure most in my heart, and it stay like that for all eternity. Jake and Unisha will also remain together, He may be of demon blood...But he's great for her, and guess what? I wouldn't want anyone else with her. You can take your laws, and go back to where you came from...Because.....If you try anything else...." As she said this, the flameing katana would raise as she pointed it toward her. Phoenix didn't show any signs of fear, and there was no chance in hell she would hold back against anyone who tried to mess with him.
Her last words, only infuriated her all that much more.. "You remind me of Fenris now...You're just like him. You think YOU are going to take him from me? That calm little nature in which you speak, is just like him. Put on that innocent, harmless act, when you are nothing but a horrible, twisted creature...You are no Angel of Light....That is just the appearance you use.....Now, Think about this. Do you really expect ME to leave you to do what you wish with my fiancee? Think again..." At this point, she didn't much care about attacking her, her words dug hard into her heart and mind. SHE needed to be punished. First, would come the testing. What were her weaknesses, how strong she was, and just what Phoenix would be able to do against her. The first attack she would send for Alarice, was a wave of flames, only meant to burn her, rather then anything else.

Alarice "Obey me, or feel my wrath." "Hmm. I expected resistance. It isn't like I make the rules... This is just how it must be. If you wish to fight me, you will sorely regret your decision." Alarice said calmly, summoning a scepter to her hand, which held an orb of holy light at the head of it. A distinguishing feature of Dominions. "Foolish girl. I do not wish to harm a Serenitian, but if you come against me, I will have to punish you." She said, again with a calm voice but less gentle now. She completely disregarded her insults and comparisons to Fenris, and would now see her as a child for such petty insults. As Phoenix sent a wave of flame at her, she effortlessly raised her scepter, creating a powerful holy barrier around her. "Naughty child," She said, before retaliating with a powerful blast of holy power that would slam into Phoenix like a freight train if she was unable to avoid it, and would stagger her most likely if she tried to block it with a barrier of her own. (( OOC: ))

"No, its you who will regret ever messing with Nero..When I send you back to what hell you came from, you can tell your 'leader' there to leave him alone or HE can face me too! " She didn't doubt she was powerful, obviously she had to be, if she could do anything to Nero. Still, she wasn't one bit afraid to deal with her, or kill her if possible. As she sent the flames after her, and they were avoided by the help of her barrier the defensive move there didn't surprise her much,for some 'holy' being she expected her to use her barrier, much like she tended to do.
When her attack came, Phoenix leaped into the air in a flash, her fiery wings helping her to stay in the air just long enough to avoid the holy power. She had always been fast in movement, especially when fighting with the katana. She could likely equal to any of the skilled sword fighters in avalanche had she tried to duel them! She had to thank Riku for his little training lessons to 'make her better' someday. Moving closer to Alarice while she remained in the air, she would start to notice her left hand suddenly become covered in flames as it grew into one massive fist in the form of fire, if she was quick she may be able to avoid being slammed into by it, if not, no doubt it would cause her to go flying and cause some damage, if it managed to break through her holy barrier, or even got close enough to strike.

Alarice "Obey me, or feel my wrath." Alarice said nothing to what the girl said first, the beautiful and deceiving angel just kept her calm composure, not in the least bit threatened. She perceived Phoenix to be about the size threat as an ant that she will soon subdue and have underneath her foot. As Phoenix avoided her Holy Blast, she watched her. Okay, maybe not an ant. Perhaps a fly. Just slightly more inconvenient than an ant. Raising her scepter, a beam of light shot from the holy orb at its head, catching Phoenix in a state where she couldn't move, to stop her attack and her, then she would move her scepter down, to cause Phoenix to slam onto the ground in front of her, to which she would raise her foot, attempting to place it on Phoenix's chest to keep her pinned down. Phoenix could dodge had she been able to regain her awareness before Alarice attempted to, in which case the angel would merely shoot off another holy blast to try to catch her off-guard. If Alarice had managed to pin the princess down with her foot, she would point the orb of light on her scepter right at the princess, and attempt to cast a holy magic to bound Phoenix to the ground, so she would be unable to move. (( OOC: ))

With all her attention set on making this attack hit, Phoenix didn't think of anything else but for striking her, she didn't think of what she might be able to do, and with knowing nothing about her, or how her attacks worked, this was one big guessing game for her. Just as she had gotten close, only few feet away from her, she felt the next attack slam into her, this coming as a surprise to her and just so managing to stun her just enough to stop her there in mid-air. Well, crap. This might suck a bit. Next her body went sent down ward into the floor rather hard. The flame fist dying out, but her grip remained strong on her katana, While Alarice may think she was still stunned and unable to move, her own surprise would come in the form of a sharp pain into her thigh, the moment she tried to place her foot against her to hold her down, Phoenix's lighting fast reflexes kicked in as she attempted to stab her there. Had she missed somehow, being so close to her, another form of fire would strike out at her in the form of many orbs!

Alarice "Obey me, or feel my wrath." Alarice almost smirked as she was grounded, and attempted to keep her down, but felt Phoenix's katana stab into her thigh. Her eyes widened, and her calm expression was replaced by a slightly pained, but angered one. "Insolent child!" She yelled, going to swipe her scepter across Phoenix's face to deal good damage, before attempting to use her holy power to pull the katana out of her thigh, then put Phoenix's blade arm on the ground, before quickly going to put her other foot on it to hold it down, then she would quickly try again to regain control by trying her bounding seal to keep Phoenix from moving. Though her attention was also on healing the wound on her thigh made by Phoenix's blade... (( OOC: ))

Alarice would find the scepter stop now, just as it had neared Phoenix's face as it was suddenly grabbed in her free hand, and with a steady hand she would show this 'great' angel, Phoenix wasn't as weak as she may of looked. Her small child-like body was a good way to mislead enemy's into doubting her abilities and giving her an advantage when they went 'easy' on her, Had Phoenix concentrated just enough energy she could even snap that thing of hers in half. Keeping a firm hold on the scepter while her other hand still remained on the handle of her katana, obviously she wasn't going to let it go! Rather the spell she had attempted to use against her to bound her would work or not while she was holding onto it, the young Serenitian quickly used that moment to again, strike at her with the blade. This time going to stab her in the stomach.

Alarice "Obey me, or feel my wrath." While Phoenix's strength was impressive, she hadn't the power to break a scepter forged by divine hand. It was nearly impossible, save for very few exceptions. She was surprised that the princess was able to stop the scepter, and she began to attempt to pull it away, but was stopped when Phoenix stabbed her in the gut now. Well, that felt nice. She was a Dominion, she wasn't used to the field of battle, which was made apparent when she let go of her scepter and stumbled away from Phoenix quickly, resulting in her tripping and falling onto her own back now. She grunted in pain, not moving from the spot because she brought her hands to her wound to nurse it back to where it would stop bleeding. That child will soon feel harsh punishment for this insolence...! She thought to herself, barring Phoenix's mind so there would be no chance she could hear her thoughts. (( OOC: ))

As soon as she stumbled back, and fell on her back, Phoenix was quick to get up, letting her heal up was not part of the plan. Now, Phoenix wasn't some cruel-hearted person who wanted to murder someone, but, seeing as this women here was threatening Nero, and their chances of being together, she couldn't really allow that to happen, and that meant she had to destroy her at all cost. Or something far worse may happen. Getting closer to the fallen Angel in quick movement, Phoenix attempted to strike her down with the blade, which also would send a wave of intensely powerful fire-like energy down at her just as the karana was coming down toward where her heart would be.

Alarice "Obey me, or feel my wrath." Right as Phoenix's attack was close to hitting its mark, Alarice's barrier would form, blocking the attack and, without warning, exploding and sending Phoenix flying. Due to their close proximity, it was unlikely she would be able to dodge it. Getting to her feet with slight trouble, the Dominion summoned her scepter back to her hands, her eyes fixed on Phoenix now as she shot another Holy blast at her, though it was like a shotgun blast, going in several different ways so dodging the first didn't necessarily mean dodging all of them."Just obey... Or face divine punishment..." The angel said, not so calm as before but definitely with anger from how well Phoenix was doing against her. (( OOC: ))

The explosion sent Phoenix flying a good distance away, while her wings again caught her, slowing the fire-princess to a safe stop before she would hit into anything. The scepter disappeared from her hands, only to appear back in it's owners possession. Her distance from Alarice gave her some luck at the very least, she was able to dodge the first holy energy, while she had to rely on her own speed to dodge the rest. She managed to avoid the lot of them, while some she wasn't so lucky at avoiding.After several hit her and jolted her back a bit, she activated her own holy barrier to take on the rest. Her barrier was no where near as powerful as hers, but it would handle enough to block off the rest from hitting her. "Just die...or face divine punishment..!" She said right back to her, Phoenix's voice colder then usual.
The flames around Phoenix began to intensify, as she whispered something under her breath." Hien..! " At those words, a continuous stream of flame flew down at Alarice, it's power also intensified as they continued to strike down on her. How long would that barrier hold against such attacks? "Danzai! "
As if the rain of fire wasn't bad enough, her most powerful attack would suddenly form in the shape of a massive seal of flame. Appearing behind her, the area all around them would suddenly begin to feel the massive energy which came at the force of a bomb exploding, generally destroying anything in it's path. Only this version was only focused into destroying one target, and that was Alarice! These two attacks combined would be very difficult to avoid, even for a goddess or Angel such as herself!

Alarice "Obey me, or feel my wrath." Perhaps this would not be as easy as Alarice had originally planned. Phoenix might just surpass her in fighting skill, which would spell bad news for her. Luckily for Alarice though, she always had a plan B.
Just as Phoenix began casting her next moves which may be disastrous for Alarice, she pointed her scepter not at Phoenix, but at the one in the throne, Nero, catching him in her spell and pulling him over to her, putting the comatose god in front of her, to block Phoenix's attacks with his body if she persisted. Which might be bad for his skin. "Are you going to harm him, hmm? He is completely helpless, I could end his life right now if I pleased. Now if you don't want me to, drop your weapon, and get on your knees." That way she could bound her and therefore incapacitate her. Her scepter of holy energy was right at Nero's back as she held him there with her spell, fully ready to end his existence if she didn't cooperate, while his head tilted to one side as he remained unconscious..
