Nana blushed, "This is the only bag I have.. and I didn't pack that much.." she pointed to her bed, which was covered in clothes. "So I should bring a swim suit?" she asked looking at Derick.

"If you want. Just because we're on a mission doesn't mean we can't relax, right?" He smiled and moved in his pocket. He grabbed something and pulled it out. "Hey, I want you to have this. It's a necklace." He handed it to her. A brass necklace with an emblem on the end, embedded with three different colored gemstones.

Nana let out a soft gasp, "Derick it's beautiful..." she stood up looking at him. "But why are you giving it to me?" she asked taking the necklace in her hand to get a better look.

"Yeah." He smiled and took the necklace. After a few moments he clipped the two ends together. Then he looked at her. "It does look good on you..."

Nana blushed, "T-Thank you..." she smiled leaning in and kissing him lightly. She then pulled away looking at him, "So what is the meaning of this necklace? is it special to you?"

"Yeah, actually. I got it from Japanese monks." He smiled. "The green gemstone is for luck, the red is for protection, and the blue is for...." He sighed. "Oops....I forgot what the blue one does, heh...."

Nana smiled, "That's so cool! we should figure out what the blue one means!" She looked down at the necklace then back at Derick, "I'll never take it off!" she smiled at him, placing her hand over the necklace.

Nana blushed kissing him back, "Luck, protection, and love..." She looked at him, "I guess I had them all before the necklace..." she blushed a deeper red. "Was lucky to have found you... you have saved my life... and I love you..." she looked at the floor shyly.

Derick smiled at her and hugged her. "I love you to, Nana..." He kissed her again. "Hmm...." He looked at the clock, then the calender. "When's your birthday?"

Nana blushed, "May 29... why do you ask?" she looked up at him, thinking how lucky she was to have him. She noticed how cute he looked and started to blush more.
