 Eriena Emm – Gryffindor – 5th year
Jem has become my favourite night light. Her little jar with its light blue flames make me fall asleep in a jiffy. I'm going to be sad when I have to take her back tomorrow. But she has grown 3 inches since I've gotten her and she has finally learned not to go anywhere near my homework!
Eriena walked into class with her jar and gently set it down in front of Professor Kalle. Jem stared at her unblinkingly and she felt her chest twinge a bit. She was going to miss the little thing.
"Here's my journal, Professor!" she handed over her journal and then sat down on the earthy ground and made funny faces at Jem, who just cocked her head.

Ginelle smiled. She hadn't been awarded points yet for anything, and the knowledge that doing something she loved, which was writing, awarded her extra points to go towards her house, she was beaming with excitement. She tried to hide her grin and put on a small smile for the class.
Looking down at Sunman, she thought about the way that he had affected her. She loved the little creature now, and decided that if she couldn't keep him, she would have to get another one. "Professor, can I keep Sunman?"
Ginelle waved over to Sparrow and smiled even brighter. Between the two of them, they had given Gryffindor 15 more points that day. It was a good feeling.

 Cloud glanced at Professor Kalle.
Professor? Do you mind if I keep the one you gave me? Xena and Xander are pretty much inseparable. I couldn't bear to pull them apart. Either...I can keep her, or you can have both of them...
Cloud looked at the two in their jars sadly.
I love them, but I want them to stay together. For their happiness.

'Well, if you would like to keep your salamanders you are welcome too! I didn't expect such a positive reaction toward them, but this is excellent. You can bring them to me at any time if you ever can't care for them or need helpwith them!' Kalle added with a grin. She was ecstatic the class had loved their salamanders so much.

My sixth-legged salamander-Journal
Day seven
Zoro had grown one centimetre in width (is now 10 centimetres wide) since yesterday but has the same length (24 centimetres). He’s gained a little bit of weight, I believe because he has eaten a bit more bugs and leaves yesterday and today. Apart from that, everything is the same as yesterday. He sleeps the same amount of time, has the same amount of energy. He's still dark violet with spots of darker colour on his back. Zoro seems to be doing great! Healthy and all!

Day 7:
"After a few days with Flynn, I noticed that he had lost a pound after walking him around in the forest. He is still on his usual diet. I believe that I should let him be free or with the professor, since I think that he wants to be out of his jar all the time.... but I will sure miss him~"
After writing, Meiko walks to the professor with the jar in her hands, containing Flynn. She spoke softly as she presented the jar at professor Kalle. "I was wondering if I can let him be free in the forest, professor."

Eriena Emm – Gryffindor – 5th year Eriena blinked down at Jem in her jar. The little thing just flicked her tongue out at her and that was it, she was keeping her!
"D'awww, come here!" Eriena brought the jar close to her face and beamed at Jem, who must've been pretty freaked out at seeing her owner's face so close. But if she was, she didn't react apart from being completely frozen. "I'll make sure to keep you away from Pickles. Don't worry, with a little training, he'll learn not to try and eat you!"
At that statement, Jem turned away from Eriena and tapped her tail against the jar glass in derision. Eriena bit her lip with a small laugh. "Well... I guess it'll take you some getting used to."

Lena opened the jar and let Zoro crawl out of it. She looked at him, the dear little creature, deep in thoughts. How on earth could she get rid of him? She loved him to much to give him away so she quickly decided she would keep him. I'm going to keep Zoro, Professor. She told the teacher and she let the little salamander run around a bit and made a mental note to check the library for books about six-legged salamanders right after the lesson. If she was going to keep him, she wanted him to be as safe and comfortable as possible.

Sparrow grinned. She was really happy that she would be able to keep Legolas. She had really bonded with him in the past week and cared for him. She said, "Yes, Thank you so much!!"
Sparrow wondered if they would be learning about unicorns next since that is what Professor said they would be doing as well. So she decided to ask, "Are we going to be learning about unicorns next Professor?" She was fascinated by those creatures.

'Yes Sparrow, we will soon be having our next lesson on unicorns,' said Kalle. She smiled. Unicorns were truly amazing creatures and she was excited to share her knowledge of them with all her students.
{Sorry the lesson won't be just yet, I just got back from a ski trip with my class and I got really sick when I came home. It will be soon though!}
