Jasper shook his head, "I'm not going to leave you." Jasper placed his hand on Ameterasu's chin to lift her head back up. "I would gladly die a thousand more times if it means that I can be with you. Don't worry about me, Fenrir is just another creature of the night. I'm a Paladin, back then I wasn't that experienced. I was naive, I thought that he would help me. I've learned from my mistakes. Also, it is still the afternoon, meaning that he can't transform, but you can."

Amaterasu turned her head away from him. "This isn't about me! It's about keeping my daughter safe. Jasper, your one of the only people I can trust with this. After all that has happened to you I can't have you sticking around me. Either you go willingly, or I'll make you go. Please don't force me into this position. Just do as I ask. Time is running out, I need you to move now!" Amaterasu was practically yelling at Jasper as he stood there defiant as ever.

A smug smirk appeared on Jasper's face as he crossed his arms. "Then make me." The smirk was a taunt of course, and he expected Cherry to take it... she always did.

Amaterasu's eyes widened slightly as he called her on her bluff. Damn him...He knew her too well. She grumbled and crossed her arms, waving her hand slightly. "Fine, then follow me if you want. But if he comes, I'm not going to protect you..." It was a bold faced lie, and Jasper probably knew it.
Amaterasu turned and hugged her daughter one last time, placing a soft kiss on her cheek. "Remember the Lullaby, Selene." Standing up, she turned and looked to Arete. "Take good care of her. And come to me if you are ever in need of help. I will help you for as long as I live."

Jasper smiled as he turned away to gather his steel long blade and his shield, it wasn't hard to mess with her. "I hope you know that I'm only doing this because I care for you..." He said as he turned around, he looked at Selene, "I've taught your daughter two basic skills that Clerics use. At least now she is a real healer."

"Thank you Jasper." She turned to him and looked to Selene again. "Be good honey. I'll try to come see you as much as I can.." She returned her gaze to him and headed to the edge of the island. She had to leave now, or she would never be able to disappear. Her attachment to her daughter was great, and even now, there was that aching feeling that made it difficult to walk away.

Jasper knelt by Selene, "Don't worry, I'll come visit you and we can work on those Cleric skills. We can even branch out to your element or your bloodline skills." Jasper gave Selene a quick hug before standing up again and walking to Cherry, "You'll see her again." He reassured her. "Soon..."

Jasper nodded and took off his jacket and his button up shirt and held them in his left arm while he wrapped his right arm around Cherry's waist and pulled her close to his bare chest so that he could have a grip on her. He spread out his dark, bat-like wings and kicked off the ground. His wings began to flap immediately, causing their elevation to get higher and higher. Suddenly, they sped off, flying into the distance.
