Europa was all for healthy eating - in fact, if there'd been a way not to, should would be anywhere but that cake. But she didn't really have an option - all she could do was to dive a white-gloved hand into the cake and try to get a piece. It made her nauseous to think about eating a living cake - did this break her vow of vegetarianism? - and tried not to think about it too hard as she raised the slice to her lips.

"I think I'm going to be sick," she muttered to the frilly senshi beside her, and then did a double take. She dropped the slice of cake.

"You're on fire," she said to Rosalind, swatting at the girl's skirt. "Hey, hey, you're on fire!"

Really, this could not get any worse if people were actively trying to make it a disaster.

"Tonight, gentlemen." He whispered to himself, almost as if a prayer. "We dine in hell."

And then, Themis followed. Following what was he was good at, but... what good could he go ? What good could he be toward this ?

He stopped short of his two teammates, though, and once more, called his attack.

And it felt like it was ripping his whole damn body apart. He hissed, but he didn't let go.

Couldn't let go.

If he was to die tonight, so be it. Though, he knew it was too much to ask for Tallulah to not mourn him.

And then, somehow, even worse.

Bell.

He let out a scream of pain, but it was hard to say if it was the mental or the physical that had triggered it.

As Kaden tried to move Chibimoon, Neso clasped the man's arm. "Don't let her get hit again," he said. The senshi realized that someone should go with her, but he couldn't bring himself to leave Chronos. Eyes trailed to Marlo. "Go get some senshi and batten down the hatches. She's a little tyke, but she's an important one, yeah? Grab some senshi. Some big ones. Some senshi that look like they might prefer to be on the defense, yeah?" Neso didn't sound very convincing.

Would Beryl even let Chibimoon be moved?

Passing the girl to Kaden, he got to his feet, heat waves circulating around his palm. The boy had not called to his attack yet, but energy was building inside him. His heart raced, his pulse sang, and all he needed was one word from his princess to do the thing he was born to do.

...no matter how terrifying that was.

It only took the senshi a few seconds to feel the heat coming off of Rosalind's dress. "Rosalind! You're...you're on fire!" Forgetting the cake for a few seconds, Perseus joined Europa in patting out the flames on the other girls ridiculous senshi skirt. It was fairly burned up, cinders eating away at the tough white fabric.

Perseus thanked the stars that their uniforms repaired themselves every time they henshined. She couldn't imagine the repair and replacement bills otherwise. Between the two girls the fire was no match!

"Thanks for the help... I...don't know your name!" She grabbed another bite of cake in the meantime and swallowed it hastily. "I'm Perseus, this is Rosalind."

Ugh, any more cake and Perseus might start feeling sick! She was going to have to go to the gym twice as often this week to work it off. Or maybe punch Selenite in the face a few more times.

Yea, that would work too.

Spica didn't know what to do. She was watching everyone, as much as she could because they were all moving arround.
She had no team, no friends and she didn't really know how to use her powers.
She would like to help but what to do ?

Zephyr had been near enough, but not involved with the commotion in the cake. Let the other senshi take care of the larger enemies, whether that included Beryl or the cake (which he believed to be the most idiotic youma to be in existence.)

But he was close enough to hear Bo's words, and then directed towards Kaden with confident smirk. he stood above the policeman. "I'll defend you." He told Kaden, who was holding the litttle girl vital to their senshi side. He didn't necessarily understand why, or even the how, but if helping her didn't benefit the negaverse, then Zephyr would be convinced to defend her.

He was not a defense type. But he was just as useful as an offensive type, eyeing the youma around them. Queen Beryl wasn't the only threat to them. He passed his senshi coat over to Kaden, "Use this to cover her. You don't want the sparks to hit her." The cake was like fireworks now - sparks coming about and lighting everybody near it.

If there was one thing Lyra liked above all else... it was cake. She had a pretty decent sweet tooth for these things as long as the frosting wasn't PURE cavity inducing it was possible for her to take a bite! The...only thing making her stop currently was the fact it was alive. The hell the cake is alive? And the only way to get to the crystal was to EAT the b*****d?

..Oh well. She said and took a bite out of the object, she was amazed the senshi and negaversers were not jsut digging into the thing and were actually being polite? She took a bite out of the weird alive thing and mentally twitched. Augh it was the diabetic killing sugary sweet frosting kind. She swore the cake youma did that on purpose, she resisted the urge to kick the damn cake!

Looking around the noticed a sailor, she didnt know her name was she waved her over, cake still in hand. "We need all the help we can get on this cake!" She directed at sailor Spica.

Spica heard someone speaking. Someone was talking to her. A senshi was near to her with a cake in her hand.
The only things she could say was "Yes" with a big smile, she could be usefull even if she didn't know anything.

There was a few moments when Rosalind didn't feel the flaming dress. There were several, actually. It hadn't really registered until a lower garment-less soldier with billowing fabric dangling from her bow and Perseus started to swat her dress to extinguish the flames. As they did so, Rosalind neither stopped devouring cake nor aided in helping them-- she simply swayed her large princess-like skirt back and forth, bopping both girls in the process. As the flames diminished, Rosalind took a moment to take a break from swallowing forkfuls of cake and actually compose logical thoughts into spoken word.

"Oh, thank you-- girl and Perseus," she looked back and forth between the two, "I hope my dress did not bother either of you two all that much?" She smiled coyly, then continued, "I am not trying to be rude, but this is not teatime for me." The copper brunette dug her fork in once more, scarfed the chunk down, and did so several more times. Rosalind had revealed one skill that she tried to keep hidden: her stomach of iron and nails. While others were beginning to groan because their bellies were full, Rosalind showed no signs of stopping.

"Europa," the dark haired senshi replied cautiously as she lifted another quivering chunk of cake to her lips. It wasn't disgusting, but she was having difficulty with it on moral grounds. Did a youma count as a living thing? Was eating one, even if it looked and tasted like a cake, equivalent to eating an animal? Not that it tasted bad, she thought, swallowing and affording a glance at Rosalind, but she was... confused... about the entire process.

Did Rosalind have a black hole in place of a stomach, she had to wonder? Europa had only managed to finish two handfuls of cake and was already feeling a bit dizzy and sick about all this.

"I don't-" she stammered, trying not to choke, "I don't understand what's going on."

This was like cake exacting karmic revenge on every fat kid ever for all past transgressions against the pastries of the world. Gloria mentally tried to make peace with the pancakes she had scarfed at IHOP earlier that week.

And then-- one minute the bowels of hell had spewed out demons that upgraded to fire when they got bored, and now everyone was eating cake.

When had Halloween become Thanksgiving?

...she kind of really wanted a slice if it was on the table. This was too much like a horrendous scene out of Matilda and if Gloria had been a swooner, she would have been out ages ago.

Spica tried to eat the cake, but she started to be full. She was not a really big fan of sweet things to begin with.
But she was so impress by the senshi wearing a princess like dress that she just continued.
But she was not sure she will not be sick tomorrow, if she survived to this crazy party.

Serandite watched in horror at Chibimoon attacked her queen-- If Chibimoon could barely handle herself against a captain, what drove her to think she could handle herself against her Queen?

The hit returned to Chibimoon was inevitable, watching the young scout fall and collapse. Perhaps Chibimoon would see the regretful sorrow in Serandite's eyes as she turned away-- perhaps she might not. But Serandite's hands knotted ina fist, nails digging into palms, struggling to swallow down her feelings.

One thing Chibimono would notice, or those around her, was Serandite walking away, leaving the fallen princess to be taken care of by the police officer. One of the hardest actions Serandite had done was to walk away. Serandite rushed to her Queen's side, passing her on the way to the crystal. She hadn't meant to stop but when she saw the effort that it had taken for her Queen to reflect the attack, she foolishly slowed her pace.

"My Queen--Are you alright?" The vast energy that Beryl had implemented throughout the room wasn't gone unnoticed. Serandite's posture was defensive, ready to protetc her queen from incoming attacks. She summoned her bunny once more, a large protective cover, only from a certain angle.

Devi was taken back by Sailor Orion's appearance, but she was most taken back by the giant cake-monster now attacking everyone. Seriously, what the ******** was it with this town? The real estate in this city must be going to s**t. The best pitch she could imagine a real estate agent making is 'Oh, there has only been one terrorist attack and/or supernatural mass hysteria event in this neighborhood this month!'

As Devi started to stammer out a reply to Sailor Orion, one of the cake-monster's rock-hard roses was flung straight towards her face. It happened all so fast, but her body froze in shock and all she could let out was a scream.

"I'll help, sir." Aeria appeared from the fray, her eyes focused on Kaden and Chibimoon. She hadn't missed Neso's orders, slipping in, next to the police officer.

"I'm defensive and offensive." She stated with a quiet absoluteness, fairly confident of her powers to provide some attempt at protection. (Poor or well done attempt, she wouldn't know.) Not to mention, she had been scarce in most of the activity tonight, still capable of her crystallized attacks. It wasn't that she didn't try to partake in the commotion-- but Lumiere had no motion to dive into the coffin incident or into the activity of consuming cake.

The crystal simply moved around too fast with the endless amount of people running, sliding, or stabbing others for it. Her concern wasn't for the crystal- not when there were chances for other scouts to grab it. (Some lucky scout would grab it, she hoped.)

But the spotlight couldn't fit everybody-- some needed to be in sidelines.
