EDIT:

Canary screamed, blasting the creatures with enough sonic to cripple them. Once she stopped screaming, she stood still for a moment, then shrank back down to the size of a doll. Natalie picked it up, placed it back in her pocket, and continued walking towards the door. "They shouldn't hurt anyone for a while."

Once up to the door, Natalie knocked on it and waited for someone to answer. Charlamagne answered, opening the door just enough to peek through. Her face was calm, but there was something...quite nervous hidden behind the calm.

"Is mom done talking yet?"

Charlot paused a moment, glanced back into the room, then turned back to Natalie. "Not quite yet, but...I think it's pretty much over. It should be safe for you to come inside." she replied.
She stepped aside and pushed the door open the rest of the way to let the two women inside.

The room, if it could be called that, was made up of only a wall, ceiling, and endless space. Charlemagne stood against the wall next to the door…the only wall there was. Edel stood in the center of the room, arms crossed and looking more than a little smug. And two twitching creatures that could only be identified as Allure and Rapture lay on the ground in front of her. Wheezing and trying to get back onto their feet with great difficulty.

”Now then…are we going to behave?” Edel asked, her tone rather telling that it wasn’t a question.

”Like…you’d be able to…do anything…” Rapture growled between gasps.

“Oh yes…“ she purred. “I can think of no less than thirty-two realms, right off the top of my head, that would be more than perfect for you two. The Great West Realm…Realm of the Chaotic Channels…Realm of the One Hundred Spirits…Realm of Ten Thousand Infernal Masks….all realms fairly forgotten that are just itching for visitors.” Then she paused a moment and placed a finger on her bottom lip. ”Of course…it’s such a bother trying to get those doorways open. Perhaps it would be better to simply do something a little more…immediate. The Black Invocation of the Forbidden Prince should take no longer than three minutes to prepare. And he’ll take no longer than twelve days keeping you all company. Or…Casting of Blood and Flaying is rather simple. And it’s been years since I’ve cast it. I might be a little rusty with it. And if the spell is done wrong, its rather…messy. More than it should be.”

”If that…X…were here…” he growled.

”You mean that cheap imitation you have doing all of your heavy lifting?”

”No…the…real one.”

Edel rolled her eyes. ”Now what interest would he possibly have in anything you want? Besides the fact that he has no part in this little ‘conversation’. This is completely between us.”

”When…I…”

”Oh for **** *** sake Writer! Shut the HELL UP!” Allure hissed. She was perfectly ready to put a fist down his throat if he didn’t.

Edel smiled. ”Now see…she seems to have learned her lesson. The sooner you do as well…the sooner we can all be on good terms again.”

Cat stared for a long beat, then covered her mouth to hide a rather large grin. Hooooh, yes; karma was a b***h, and it was glorious.

Rapture didn't comment any further. Edel's smile widened and she turned to look back towards the doorway. "Good." Her smile became a bit politer and she started towards the small group at the doorway. "Now then...Natalia. Have you picked out any dolls yet."

"No. Not yet." she replied.

"Very well. Miss Lansburry, if you'd be so kind, escort Natalie around what's left of your building. Open up any door she wants." Edel said with a small grin.

Charlot nodded and turned to walk out the door. She wasn't arguing with the woman. She knew better.

Natalie turned to walk out the door, but stopped and looked up at Black Cat. She gave her a little nod bye, then proceeded out the door and disappeared down the hall with Charlot.

Edel watched them walk away, then turned her attention to Felicia. "I apologize for not have coming much, much earlier. I was rather distracted when all of this...unpleasantness was taking part. My name is Edel Condulmer. I will take you back to my home as soon as you wish to leave. From there, you can stay and rest, or I can take you to wherever you'd like to go."

Cat's face stayed politely neutral, although the wicked gleam still sparkled somewhere in her eyes. There was something a little wary about her posture, though; after all, she still didn't really know who this woman was. "The sooner the better," she said honestly, "Thank you."

Edel smiled. "You're quite welcome." she replied. "I will be in the house once you arrive there, as well as Reaper. If you need anything, just ask."
After those words, a light blue mist formed it's way around cat. A rather gentler method of transportation compared to Reaper's shadows or sudden teleports. It should take her back to Audra with little discomfort.

Right before she vanished, Cat shot both Allure and Rapture a smug little wink. "Behave yourselves, now, boys and girls."

Rapture growled an opened his mouth to say something...likely vulgar....but all that came out was another painful yelp as he crumpled again.

Edel grinned and turned back towards the two.

"Now then..." she purred as she walked back towards them. "...where were we?"

Quite some time had passed. Charlemagne had taken the young woman down through each of the main halls, showing her each of their captives. Much to her disapproval...the girl had picked quite a few meta-humans that she seemed to like. Charlot had no choice but to let her into the room and allow her to turn them into one of her little dolls. The only bright side was...with the data erased, it wasn't like she was ruining their experiments. She was just...taking away the opportunity for them to gain that power.
With the girl's bag full of new dolls, Charlot walked her back down towards the room Edel was in with the others.

Standing outside the room, leaning against the opposite wall, was Allure. Full Blood form. Her arms were crossed, her face was turned towards the floor, and her tail flicked aggressively at the wall behind her.

Charlot looked curiously at the multi-red colored creature, then walked up to her. "Edel done having her...'talk' with you?"

Allure didn't answer for a long moment. Just stood there boiling rage that was fairly visible on her face. "Yeah..." she growled finally. "Idiot in there has several degrees but doesn't know when to shut his stupid mouth."

Charlot nodded. "She'll be a bit longer then." she said, then turned back towards Natalie. "Why don't you just wait here. Play with your new dolls."

Natalie nodded and took a seat on the floor, shifting through her bag for particular dolls.

"I'm going to kill her..." Allure growled out quietly.

Charlot turned back towards the other woman and arched a dark brow. "Who? You can't possibly mean-"

"That little platinum haired ****. I swear, I'm going to rip her eyes out and feed them to her." she hissed.

Charlot shook her head. "You know that won't be possible now. Blackstone's fond of her. And while he has his mother here...the girl is off limits."

"Should have crippled her when Xion knocked her out. Should have carved up that pretty face of hers. Should have - "

Suddenly the wall of the other room vibrated and echoed with an ominous hum. It didn't phase Charlot or Natalie...but Allure instantly dove onto the ground and took cover behind Charlot. Realizing what she'd just done, she glared up at Charlot. "Not a word...not one ****ing word."

Charlot grinned and purposefully turned her head away from the other woman. "So...um...is the form permanent now?"

"No...but she didn't say exactly when it would wear off. I'm stuck like this for a while." she replied, getting back onto her feet.

A few other hall security lights kicked on, and both women looked over at them. "Good." Charlot said. "Xion has all of the security back up and running."

A few lights at the end of the hall were blinking and buzzing...but that was expected. It was towards the room that Reaper had been in. Which...they both knew he'd been ripped out of. Then the alarm went off down towards the hall Jessica was in. Again, expected.
But then...more alarms started humming away down the hall behind them. Both women froze for a moment, then slowly turned and looked down the hall. That...that's not supposed to happen.

"...Isn't that the hall we keep...." Allure said quietly.

"Our finished captives? Yes." Charlot replied.

"....****ing ****! I swear I'm going to KILL that girl! XION!!"

"One. Thing. At. A. Time." his voice called back.
PostPosted: Thu May 05, 2011 11:41 pm

Allure growled and slammed her knee against the wall, spurting a few obscenities. Charlot frowned and glanced over at the door Edel was behind. She took a quick glance back down the hall, then took a deep breath and moved towards the door. Stopping in front of it, she sighed and moved her arm to knock on the door.
"Don't bother." a voice said down by her feet. down, she found a smiling black cat standing upright on his hind legs. He was holding something red behind his back. "You know it would be a bad idea to interrupt her anyway. Especially when she's having this much fun."

"And what about...all of the little problems we have right now?" she asked.

C.C. shrugged. "I guess I could take care of a few of them. At least the ones that matter. Xion isn't very fond of multi-tasking anyway." he replied, then grinned and held up the small shop vac. "I've got a present for ya! You were wanting to try out the whole cloning process mixed with safe-guard control?"

Charlot looked curiously at the Dirt Devil, then looked back at the cat. "And...what exactly...is that?"

"What's left of an impulsive super teen that tried to storm Doom's castle." he replied, then grinned wider and held it up to her.

She looked at it for another moment, then carefully took it out of his paws. "Alright...we should still have a few safe-guard options that weren't destroyed with the computer data. And if you can get a few of our machines up and running...we can test the cloning process. We've studied it enough with Rosie that we shouldn't need the computer data for it." she said, then started down the hall. "Oh, and please take care of whoever it is that escaped from their cells."

The cat grinned. "Maaaayyybee." he purred quietly.

After quite a bit of time had passed, the door to the meeting room finally opened. Allure's attention snapped forward, but Natalie didn't so much as pause from playing with her new dolls. Edel carefully stepped out, and gently closed the door behind her. Outwardly, there was no sign at all that she had just finished torturing someone for the last hour or so. The bottom of her dress seemed to be a darker shade of purple...but other than that, she seemed perfectly calm. "Now then..." she began with a small smirk. "I do believe that's been taken care of. He should wake up in a few hours. Maybe days. No more than a week." she said, turning her attention to the red creature leaning against the wall.

"A few days?" Allure asked. "What did you do to him within the span of an hour that would put him out that long? Might be nice to know so I can use it when he wakes up again."

Edel blinked. "An hour? Was that really all the longer I was actually in there? Temné Roviny has a bigger time distortion than I thought it did then." she said to herself.

Allure blinked herself. "What?"

Edel waved her hand. "I didn't think a few hours would be near enough time to reprimand the creature. So I took him to a place where I could get a day or so's worth of punishment out of him." she replied.

"Déesse, you're a scary woman..." Allure whispered.

Edel grinned. "You'll do well to remember it the next time you even entertain the thought of harming anyone in my family. OR those close to them." she said, giving Allure a knowing...and almost threatening look.

Allure said nothing, and looked away with a frown.

Edel's grin grew. "I'm glad we're on the same page. Natalie...time to go home my dear."

Allure blinked and watched as the girl plopped her new "dolls" into her bag and jumped to her feet. "So...that's it? You're not going to tear down the lab or anything?"

Edel looked at her as her daughter walked over towards her. "...why? Should I?"

"No! It's just...figured you'd do something about all of the experiments and everything."

Edel thought for a moment, then waved her hand again. "Provided you don't come anywhere near my son or his friend again...I have no interest in this place. Should anyone ask me for help tearing this place apart, however, I might consider doing something about it. I imagine Doctor Strange would be quicker to come back here than I would. And less tolerant." she said, then snapped her fingers. "That does remind me though...I will be taking some of your stones. So few of them around in this world and all."

"You think he'll be back any time soon?"

Edel shrugged. "He'll be back eventually. That's how these heroic trials usually go, isn't it? Always more of a percentage of heroes coming home victorious than there is of those who don't."

"And if he doesn't?"

Edel smirked. "Well...the possible futures that result with that outcome...I'm going home. Home home. But as I said...usually a greater percentage of heroes win the battle. Either way...I imagine you'll have others to worry about before him. The spider did get away with one of your experiments, so he knows about all of this. My son knows...his friend knows. And...if the younger Bat should get wind of this place, I imagine he'd come for a visit as well. Considering at least one of the people you have in captivity right now." she said, then turned towards Natalie. "Either way...we're done here. Have fun cleaning up. And DON'T give me a reason to come back here for a visit like this again."
With that, the two women faded into a translucent light, and vanished.

/// Because I'm lacking time at the moment, and too tired to actually type up a nice description...I'll leave a close-but-not-completely-accurate image///

Laboratory Room C-32 A

Charlot stood in front of one of the large containment vats that was filled with a glowing red liquid. The rest of the room sat empty and incorporable. The cat had only fixed one of the containment units up for this particular experiment. She stood with the clipboard in her hands, skimming down through her notes she had taken when they had played around with Rosie. She was able to make exact duplicates of herself, so the testing results from her were extremely valuable for their future clone testing. They had tried it a few times, always a trial and error since they were doing the process on their own. Whereas Rosie had a "born" ability to do self cloning. They'd come pretty far with the experiments...and they should still be able to work with the DNA from the remains.

Meanwhile, the black cat sat on top of one of the tables on the other side of the room. His tail swaying back and forth, and a large blissful smile that seemed rather out of place given the situation.

Charlot glanced back at him and arched her brow. "Something on your mind?"

"Hm?" C.C. replied distractedly. "Oh...nothing. Just...hung out in the IM for a bit."

"...the what?" she asked, almost in a deadbeat tone.

The cat smiled his large, Cheshire grin. "Nothing. I'm just in a SPECTACULARLY good mood." he replied, then looked over towards a seemingly random location on the wall. "You are officially one of my favorites now!" he purred, then turned his attention back to the other woman. "Completely makes up for the whole hose scare earlier." Then jumped down from the table and strut...yes, strut...over to the large container Charlot was standing in front of. "Anyway...we need to get this done now, yes? There's only about a half an hour of internet time left before she goes bye-bye. So...let's get this done and out of the way. I'm sure she'll hammer out the particulars of everything you're doing in a latter post...but for now, let's just get him up and out of here." he said, then put a paw on his side and pulled out his large bag of tricks as he had done in Doom's castle. With that, he began digging around.

Charlot simply stared down at the cat for a long beat. Then, with a disgruntled sigh, she turned her attention back to her test subject. "We could just have Xion come in here and re-create him."

"He's busy..." the cat replied muffledly. "You have him repairing the building still. And...if I recall correctly...he is a HORRIBLE multi-tasker." he continued, then pulled his head out and looked at the wall again. "A small hint for those of you with supernatural powers who might have a tiff with the whole workings of this place." Then he dove into his bag again. "I mean...how much energy could you have if you were simply the bit of essence that was pulled out of a statue and given a physical form?"

"What exactly are you doing?" Charlot snapped, finally giving a noticeable sign that she was loosing patience. With everything that had gone on today...she had very, very little of it left.

C.C. pulled himself back out of the large bag with his arms full. "Just getting all of your little genetic fail-safes out and ready. Get this done and over with in one quick swoop. Time is of the essence right now after all." he replied. He carefully made his way up to the large glowing vat and dropped everything on the ground. Several corked beakers filled with liquids. Some clear, some colored. A small black box. And one folded piece of paper. Picking up the bottles one by one, he tossed them at the glass containment vat. Each beaker went through the glass, and floated inside the glowing liquid. Then he opened the box, pulled out a tiny round device that was no bigger than the button on a camera, and tossed it in as well. Then, he picked up the piece of paper and opened it to read it. "Alright...so all I have to do is give it a good stir..." he said, waving his paw around. The contents of the large vat began swirling around as a mini whirlpool traveled down the center of the tube. "Then the chemicals should be mixed together nicely...the device should either arrive in his heart, brain, or other internal organ that would be extremely bad for someone to try to operate on. And this little paper lets me click my heels together and send the boy home." he said with a smile. The cat clicked his heels, and the liquid inside the containment vat began draining out of the glass until it was completely and utterly empty.

Charlot stared wide-eyed for a long moment. There was no place the liquid could have gone. And...
Pausing for a moment, she looked back down at the cat.

He looked up at her and held up the piece of paper. "These papers are usually the best thing I can pull out of my bag. They tell me what I'm supposed to do, or just let me pull stuff I normally wouldn't be able to do outta my a**." he said, then turned and flipped the paper towards the wall again. More specifically towards where computer screens might be. "Honestly, this isn't the first time I've had these things. I've been able to pull off anime moves or scenes from whatever because of these things. You should see the face of a super villain when a Kamehameha blast is flying towards him. Anyway, I'm a plot device. Look at what I did to Joker's relationship with one little move. It's my job to make things happen so that certain plots or whatever can happen. ...most of the time. Sometimes I just like to play because it's boring. The point stands though. It's almost 3 am...she's gotta be ready to move at 10am...then it might be internet every few days. There's no time to wait around for drawn out experiments. So, enter plot device. He has fail-safes now...which will be explained in a later post. When she can get to it. Until then...happy typing." he said, then started to turn away. "Oh...and as such...if anyone needs the help of a certain plot device for the soul benefit of a plot that could have seriously interesting results..."

"What, ARE you talking about?" Charlot hissed.

C.C. blinked, then turned back towards her. After a beat, he flashed her a large white smile that took up the majority of his face. "Nothing...nothing you'd understand. I'm called Crazy Cat for a reason, right?"

Charlot gave the cat a long hard look, then let out a deep sigh and turned to head out of the room. "Whatever..." she grumbled as she brought her fingers up to rub the bridge of her nose.

C.C. grinned and followed her out of the room. "Oh, come now. Everything's alright. Well...right now at least. Angry momma witch didn't hurt you, and she didn't tear the place down brick by brick. And her daughter...well...you no longer had the data on them anyway."

"Months...and months of work..." she growled.

"And now you have your first 'out in the field experiment'! A fully functioning clone, and you get to test out those new genetic alterations and safe-guards. If you need him to do something, BOOM. He's gotta do it. If he does something you all don't like, BOOM. He stops in his tracks. And if he really gets out of hand, well, that's what I'm here for. Flatland syndrome does wonders as far as being a plot device goes." C.C. said, this tail gently curling back and forth behind him.

"Do you have the security feed up so that we can test all that?" she asked, her tone a bit more relaxed now.

"Momentarily." the cat replied. "There's a lot to get around to fixing in here. And a lot of people out and about."
PostPosted: Wed May 25, 2011 11:35 am

Charlotte and C.C. made their way down the long halls and back to the security room. One little Rosie duplicate turned and looked at the two of them as they entered the room. C.C. grinned and lept over towards the little girl and onto her lap. Rosie smiled and cuddled the lanky black cat against her.
Charlotte unfortunately wasn’t in such a pleasant mood. ”Rosie, bring up whatever video feed you can. We have some escapees.” she said in a deadpan tone, walking over towards one of the far computers.

Rosie’s smile fell and she shifted uncomfortably in her seat. The cat blinked and looked up at the child. ”Alright…” she replied, then leaned forward to reach the console. Every screen and security feed they had flipped on.
The cat turned and scanned each screen. Then…he spotted one particular room that was probably the reason the girl suddenly became so uncomfortable. There was a small group of little Rosies in one of the rooms that held the large machines that were still being tested. They were not supposed to be in such a room. And considering what the machine was that they were huddled around…they definitely weren’t allowed to be around THAT thing.
The cat purred, grinned a wide, sharp smile and flicked his tail. The screen suddenly went dead for no apparent reason. Rosie blinked, then looked down at the cat on her lap. He glanced back up at her and gave a little wink. Rosie’s smile returned and she cuddled the creature again.

”Alright.” Charlotte said quietly, her tone sounding a bit better. ”I do believe it worked, cat.” she said as she leaned away from the computer, keeping her eyes on the screen.

C.C. rolled his eyes and looked over at her. ”Of course it worked. I am THE plot device after all.”

About that time, the door opened once again, and an older gentleman entered this time. ”Is everything up and running once again?” he asked.

Rosie smiled a bit and nodded. ”Yep. Now we’re just cleaning up.” she replied.

”And finding those that have gotten out or escaped.” Charlotte said, taking only a brief glance back at the small group.

Miles Warren nodded. ”So I heard. Miss Condulmer took some of our experiments and a few of our finished products escaped their rooms. With the security down, we had no way of keeping them inside. The noise and excitement even seemed to have effected Mr. Carter. I can’t find him either.”

”As long as he doesn’t find a shotgun…” the cat mumbled to himself. ”I mean we have swiss army guns, but that would be tragic.”

”Just take inventory of who is still in their rooms and who isn’t.” the woman growled.

”What are you tending to?” Miles asked, walking towards Charlotte.

”A new clone with safe-guard functions and genetic alterations.” she replied, turning her eyes back towards her computer.

“Oh?” he said quietly, clear interest in his tone. ”Did Xion give us a new experiment?” he asked, walking up to view the screen himself.

”No, the cat did. Came back with ashes from what he claimed was a former super hero. Did everything in one setting and sent the thing out into the wild before I could even see if he had a fully functional body or not.” she replied.

Miles paused for a long moment, then let a small grin cross his face. ”All in one setting…that’s almost insulting.” he said quietly.

”Hey, Ockie-poo has his group of clones, you’re counter part has his group of clones, Rosie’s got her clones, you and ockie worked on making an aged Rosie clone that wouldn’t rapidly age into death….now I’ve got mine.” the cat called out.

Miles grin widened. ”So what are we watching right now?”

”Well…” she began, placing a finger up to her bottom lip to think. ”With the possible safe guards we had planned and worked on…I’d say this is part of the P.O.V. function. It seems to be working clear as day.”

”So this is what the clone is seeing?” Miles said quietly. ”He doesn’t seem to be very focused on anything, does he? Are you sure it’s working right? ”

”The guys supposed to be blind with mutant abilities that allow him to see hazy images and shadows. Or something…” the cat said, a small bit of sarcasm in his tone. ”Be lucky he looks at anything.”

”Alright…I’m not sure where we’re at right now. Try to see if the safe-guard’s memory files work.” Miles said.

Charlotte nodded and began working the keyboard. After a few moments, a separate screen popped up onto the bottom right hand corner. Charlotte smiled and went about activating the program. A computer screen next to her burst to life. ”It works. Let’s see what all he’s been doing for the last hour or so.”

C.C. yawned and stretched out on the little girl’s lap. ”Base is in New York, lots of stuff inside, at least one woman inside, he goes to another building and meets with a man named Morbus. Not to be confused with Morbius. Guy experiments on him, supposedly with Soldier Serum, it works, yadda yadda yadda, he leaves. There, hours worth of watching tv down to a few seconds.”

”Just take inventory of who all we have and don’t have.” Charlotte growled from her corner.

The cat rolled his eyes and hopped off of they little girl’s lap, back onto the floor. ”Yeah, yeah. I think I’ve done enough though. Kid can do it.” he said, then pulled out his large bag and began shuffling around inside it. ”I am officially bored again. No one to bug, and I’m not quite in the mood to go looking around this large place. Both ‘Pool’s’ have left and they haven’t popped up yet. Could be fun to go lead Hit Girl around for a bit, but she’d skin me alive the second she got hold of me. Gossamer would skin me by now. Can’t go bug Joker. Not sure how Edel would take to me bugging anyone in her house. Can’t do much with the people in Strange’s house. At all actually. Bat’s out of the question now.” he said, then paused for a long beat. “Although…he didn’t say anything about me bugging Zantanna again. Might be fun to try and sic her on him. Make her shove that stupid hose up his as-”

”Will you please just do something quietly.” the woman growled again.

The cat simply looked up from his bag and grinned at her. ”Oh, you are pissed despite your usual level-headed attitude. Alright, I’ll shut up and plot quietly. Who knows, maybe I’ll pull out people from my bag to add to this world as well. I’m feeling left out. Edel can do it, Xeon can do it, X can do it. Meh. In the mean time….” The cat popped out of his bag with an arm full of small books. ”Comics! Have I mentioned how freaking upsetting Ultimate Spider-Man is becoming? I mean they screwed over Fisk, and now Doc Ock? REALLY? Are they going to leave us with ANY of the GOOD villains? The only way they can make up for this injustice is to bring both of them back. I mean, Osborn’s been back how many times now? And I mean come on…just because Fisk was blasted with a plasma gun or whatever and fell out of his sky scraper and onto a car and he had an obituary doesn’t mean he’s dead, right? Bullseye survived falling onto a car in the movie…Fisk survived being shot in both eyes at point blank and a Julius Caesar stabbing in his mainstream stuff. They probably won’t let him have a come back though. And I’m not sure how they’d fix the whole smashed head thing…so, yeah. Pretty ticked off with that right now. We’re probably just going to see Osborn again, and again, and again. Geeze. I’m really hoping MJ spazzes into red goblin and tears his head off or something. Since obviously guns and everything else don’t work.”

”Speaking of which, why don’t you make yourself useful and go get the girl so we can get that project going?” Charlotte said.

C.C. scoffed as he flipped through his selection of books. ”I ain’t stepping foot in there. What do you want me to do? Walk in and go ‘Hi Mister Strange! I just need to borrow this girl for a moment and I’ll bring her right back, kays?’ You’ve got Gold Star, just have her go get her. She could come up with a much better reason for dragging the girl out of that little sanctuary. While you‘re at it, you could have her find the spiders and trick them into coming back or something. Since, you know, you have her under Xion mind control or whatever. Or you could just have her relive some unwanted memories and let her go kamikaze on whatever hero she can get her hands on.” he purred, then looked over at the computer screen. In this case the wall. ”She has mentioned that she likes her characters to have complicated lives, right? Especially concerning the whole Blackstone line.”

C.C. had quieted himself down, content with his comic books for the moment. Rosie sat in the seat beside him, staring at the computer screen and jotting names down with as much enthusiasm on her face as any child would sitting in front of algrebra homework. Miles Warren and Charlotte stood at the other computer, watching intently at the now live-feed they were getting from their new little unwilling experiment.

”Done.” Rosie sighed, ripping the paper out of the tablet and handing it down to the black cat.

C.C. put a paw up and extended a claw at her while his nose was still burried in the book in his other paw. After another brief moment, he closed the book up and tossed it down on the pile. "Alright, well…“ He said as he took the paper and began to scan over it. “As of right now, we have….Ultimate Scorpion, Kain, Kong, Kitty, and Gwen. Three of which we have finished the entire process, and the others we haven’t even started on. We also have Gold Star, She-Hulk, Huntress, Thing, Aqua Man, Aqua Girl, and…Spider Woman numero uno. Spider Woman we finished, along with She-Hulk and Huntress. Aqua Man you guys were thiiiiiiiiisss close to being done with when Miss Kitty came and killed the power.” He said. He then paused and scanned over the paper once again. ”Experiments that have been stolen…Reaper, Ultimate Spider Woman. None of whom we have any data on now. And the little Condulmer girl took….Ultimate Firestar and Iceman. Blackheart, Psylocke, Hawkman, Hawkwoman, Hawk, Dove, Spider Woman two, and Mera. We were finished with…oh, most of them actually. With any luck you guys had already started putting all that data together to begin other experiments, so you might have that data to run with. Or at least the general idea.”
Then that cat paused again, looking over the list a little more carefully. “And now for all experiments that are not accounted for, or who were last seen taking one of the exits out of this place…Ultimate Green Goblin, (uck), Spider Woman three, Spider Woman four, Clayface, Juggernaut, Blight, Inque, and I think it’s safe for us to start calling Mr. Carter Sin Eater now. Yay for huge distractions in the hallways.” he said with a brief pearly smile. He straightened his grin back out and glanced back at the woman in charge. She was glancing back at him through the corner of her eye. “On the plus side, you still have a nice little group of members on your side. Doctor Octopus, Ultimate Doctor Octopus, Creeper, Shocker, Bombshells, Deadpool, or Deadpools…Rapture, Chameleon, Mysterio, Allure, all of the little Rosies, Me, You, and Jackal over there. Oh, and Bane. If your little Blood creatures haven’t gone into a frenzy and torn him to bits.” he said with a large, hopeful little grin. The grin fell as a though passed his mind, and he turned away to put a paw under his chin. ”You know what would be cool though? If they did, and you all gave him a Blood being to help keep him alive. Ooh, or cyborg technology. A cyborg clone! We can rebuild him…make him stronger, faster…we have the technology!” he purred excitedly, giving his best mock-announcer impression. ”Or, ya know…we could keep him around and bring in a few other people he’s familiar with. Then you’d have a little group of experts on your side. If you don’t mind paying them that is. At least a few members of the Secret six anyway. You could probably have them add other members. Scandal might be fun to play. That would open up quite a few new possible plot routs. Deadshot could be fun too.”

”Back on topic please.” Charlot said calmly, turning to look back at the computer in front of herself.

The cat grinned. “Oh, heh, alright. Anyway…um…technology and items we do have at our disposal…” he mumbled, turning back to the list. “Um…well…we have the Blood being stuff. Extreme DNA extraction, so you could probably revive ultimate carnage. The black mercy plant if anyone’s feeling brave enough to go into the greenhouse and do some gardening again. Lack of security and all. Scarecrow Fear Toxin code has already been cracked thanks to finding the late Scarecrow’s stash. You started to do something with Smile-X before Cat. And you had some of Creeper’s DNA, you were going to try to crack down on the strands that made people go nutsy. And….the super powers you did manage to code-crack are almost all backed-up in a Rosie duplicate. So, you have no data on the powers, but the strands should be easy to pinpoint and extract again.”

Charlotte made a rather distracted sound and kept her eyes on the computer in front of her. ”Lady Deathstrike, correct?” she mumbled to the man beside her.

”I’m not very knowledgeable for those outside New York.” Miles replied.

”I think I seen a small file on her somewhere before…” Charlot mumbled.

The cat rolled his eyes. He was being ignored. Fine. He’d go somewhere else. “Tell you what, why don’t I just take my comics and occupy myself elsewhere. I don’t expect there will be any other problems for a while, so you all should have things taken care of in here by yourselves for a while.” he said, standing up on his hind legs and gathering up his stack of comics.

Can I come?” Rosie asked, fully turned around in her seat to look down at the cat. ”I hate watch duty.” And she really liked the cat. Sometimes he didn’t make a lot of sense, and he liked to ramble, but…he was fun.

Crazy Cat looked back at the two adults at the computer, then over at the security screen. More specifically the one screen that was no longer working. ”You know what, sure. Let’s go see what the rest of you is up to.”
In a burst of black smoke, the cat, comics, bag, and young girl were gone.
