Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden nodded. It was a seeker move. He remembered what happened in his second year as a seeker. He went to dive, and the other seeker had to pull up before him. Of course, Caiden pull out just in time, but his leg hit the ground after snagging the snitch. "Alright, miss Seeker. I've got a chaser move for you." To be honest, he liked being a chaser better so he could get more involved with the team. He sped off, fast as he could around the pitch. Then, within a split second he had stopped and turned around right towards Sparrow. Then, about a foot from hitting her, he stopped, causing him to be inches from her face. He smiled, then backed away, wondering what she would think of that one.

Sparrow flinched slightly as Caiden sped at her. She wondered if she could manage it without running into Caiden, but she also wondered what would occur if she did run into him. She nodded and said, "Here it goes." She mimicked his movements speeding off in the same direction. She then turned around coming towards Caiden picking up speed as she came. She was getting closer and closer. Sparrow tried stopping she had miscalculated it and her momentum was going to bring her crashing into Caiden. She quickly dived down to avoid him and blushed. She flew back up to him and said, "Good move. I almost ran into you. Never done that before."

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden chuckeled at her attempt. She did try, and he had to give her that. He had learned to get really good at stopping and starting for the sake of a team mate, or himself, loosing the quaffle. He flew right to her side, taking notice of the blush on her cheek. She was cute that way, he noticed. It made him smile to see her like that. "You're still really good, gryffindor girl."

Sparrow grinned she liked that nickname. She wish she had a nickname for Caiden, but she had always been terrible at coming up with those. She tried to think of another move, but she was drawing blanks. She felt like just doing something for the fun of it like she had done at home with her brothers and said, "Well I'm almost out of ideas, but I will give one more a go." She started to fly off again much lower than before though. She then crouched on the broom and then stood up on it while it was still moving. It was dangerous but she had done it so many times with her brothers. It took a lot of balance. Coming to the end of the pitch she sat back down and flew back to Caiden smiling.

Fourth year Gryffindor Once again, the girl amazed him. How could he ever do that one? But, being the proud guy he was, he couldn't give up this challenge. "I'm not promising anything with this one..." He started off, very slowly, and very close to the ground (Much closer than sparrow), crouched on his broom, pulled his legs up, and tried to stand. The best he could do was a knee-bent position. Feeling too unbalanced, he stopped and put his legs back to his normal position. "I have to give you that one, I could definitely not pull that one off."

Sparrow grinned at him and said, "I didn't think you would be able to. Its something took me years to achieve. My brothers were dare devils and they got me into doing some stuff as well." She remember those days when they were so happy and close. She let out a little sigh trying to hide how sad the memories could be sometimes.

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden nodded, noticing how risky her other moves have been. She was really meant to be in Gryffindor, wasn't she? He wondered if that was where he belonged? He didn't know where else he would be able to go if he didn't belong there. "You've got brothers, huh? Any that could beat me up?" He asked that jokingly, but he meant that. If they were the kind of family he suspected they were, they would do anything for each other even if they had to get into her business to make sure there wasn't some suspicious guy in her life. That was a little scarry...

Sparrow giggled and said, "Well most likely, but not unless they had a reason. They are all older and one is an auror. He is really nice though, but protective." This was the first time Sparrow had talked about her family to almost anybody. Even though it wasn't about the sadder parts it was still different. Sparrow asked in return, "What about you, you have any siblings?"

Fourth year Gryffindor Ahh, so they could beat him up. Great... When she asked her question, he didn't know what to say. Well, he doesn't have one now, but, should he tell her that? He probably should. "Well, I did." He said with a half smile. He didn't mind if she knew. He would tell her if she pushed, but she wanted him to think on that first. It made him wonder what she would think when she told her it was his fault.

Sparrow wondered if he meant his sibling(s) were dead now. They would have something in common. Losing siblings. Of course by the way he said it it sounded like he either lost all them or his only one where she actually had some left. She didn't want to push him about it. She knew it could be hard to talk about that stuff, or at least for her. So she decided to just say, "Oh I'm sorry." She had a caring and understanding expression on her face. He could share if he wanted to, but she would never force him.

Fourth year Gryffindor He nodded to her apology, not in the mood to argue that it wasn't her fault. He felt like explaining, for once, what happened. He hadn't told anyone at his old school what happened to his little five year old sister, but he wanted to share now. "She was five, and she was so cute. It was just an accident gone wrong. Carmen, was her name" Caiden looked down with a smile, remembering her face clearly in his mind.

Sparrow hadn't expected him to share and when he did she as shocked. Sparrow wanted to hug him, but she refrained from doing so. Instead she said, "That must be awful. I can sort of relate..." She couldn't believe she was about to say this, "...I've actually lost quite a few family members." Sparrow couldn't keep the sad and thoughtful look off her face and the tears starting to appear in her eyes from both what Caiden shared and her own memories. Sparrow heard the name Carmen and Sparrow thought of her owl whose name was Carmen. She said, in a softer voice, "My owl's name is Carmen." She then regretted saying that thinking it sounded stupid and inappropriate for the conversation.

Fourth year Gryffindor He didn't like seeing her cry. He grabbed the end of her broom, and slowly, brought her down to ground level. He hopped off and stood infront of her. "I've learned many things from the death of my little sister, and I try hard not to let it get me down. Yeah, I loved her to death. I tried my hardest to save her, but it wasn't enough. But, I've learned that what we do at this school, everything we learned, is very important, and we can't let it go to waste," Caiden said. He opened his arms, hoping she would take the offer of a hug from him. He didn't want her to be sad, and hopefully, she would be alright. He wasn't going to let anyone hurt her anymore.

Sparrow allowed Caiden to bring her down and into a hug. She tried to calm herself and managed to whisper, "You know when i first saw you i thought you were arrogant and stuck up. I now see I was completely wrong." She hugged him back and finally understood her feelings towards him were true and real.

Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden nodded. He had gotten that a lot before from... everybody. But once people got to know him, they noticed he wasn't as bad as he seemed. He was told he was a joke, he wouldn't get anywhere in life, that he was would die alone... All of it. Teachers, mostly, but he was used to it. "Full of myself too I bet. Not as bad as I seemed, huh?" He said with a laugh as he let her go. She seemed to be alright now, which was a relief to him. But, he still couldn't hide the fact that he did just hug her, which made him feel all the much better about Carmen.
