(for some reason, I imagine Nicholas demon to sound like Hichigo (Hollow Ichigo) it works though)
Nicholas didn't feel good with at the moment with everyone talking about his problem. The more Faye felt bad, he felt even worse. It wasn't her fault that he's in this position. He could could have fought off the demon before it took almost full control. He was lucky that he barely fought it back before he was gone! "Um, if you don't mind, I going out for some air." He said and slowly walked out. The night may be full with screams and scares, but to Nicholas, it was dead silent. He sat down next to a black metal fence that was around the Chateau. His winds were folded around his body and his claws were digging down at the gray dirt underneath him. 'Depression sucks doesn't it...' The demonic voice in his head said. "Go away, you've caused enough trouble and I want you out." Nicholas said out loud, unaware that others can hear him. 'Aww. Don't be like that. Your energy gets less and less tastier as I consume. Don't do that to me. Come on. Think about Faye. You did this for her right? Your secret lover? You do realize she isn't interested in you right? Your just a doll really. A useless, love struck, doll.' Nicholas got mad and punched himself in the face, the pain almost unnoticeable. "Leave her out. Just let me and my love stuck self sulk okay? I've got better things to do then hear you gloat." The demon only laughed as his laughed slowly went to dead silence, leaving Nicholas back to being alone.

Marx sighed as he stood up. "I know you didn't but if you dont help fix this problem it'll get worse. The kid has to beat the demon in order to remain in control." He said looking at her. "Its not your fault, you didn't know what would happen." he said putting a hand on her shoulder.

Faye finally snapped out her gloom and pulled away from Marx. "Of course I'm going to find a way to fix this!" she said stomping her foot down, feeling like Marx was insinuating that she'd just hole up in her lab and shirk responsibility. "Nicholas is the first subject I've had that doesn't hate me, I'm not letting that scary demon eat his soul!" she said, stomping her foot down one last time in punctuation before storming back outside. In truth, she had no idea what she was doing at the moment. She didn't know whether to give Nicholas some alone time or not.

(I dunno. I'm just going along with the story)
Nicholas did not notice that Faye was now outside. He was currently singing a poem that he just though of.

Demons dancing

He continued to sing that again and again, the demon actually singing along with him inside his head. He was losing it again, no not his body, but his own sanity. The last time he lost his sanity is when he father was still alive. This was different in his eyes though. He actually started to enjoy the insanity! He even started to rock back and forth as he sung.

Saito, angry that he was being ignored, grabbed Nicholas by the chin and forced him to turn his head in Saito's direction. "Hey! I spoke to you. Don't ignore me!" he growled.

Faye saw Nicholas and decided to see how he was doing, but she slowed to a stop a few feet away when she heard he was singing. It sounded almost depressing, but the way he rocked you'd think he was overtaken by sheer glee. "...Nicholas...?" she said taking a few slow steps toward him, worried that it might be the demon instead.

Nicholas stopped rocking and singing when he head Faye. "Oh hello Faye. Sorry if I don't act like I usually do at the moment. I going slightly insane right now. It should pass soon though." He said, a slight smile on his face that was pretty creepy in its own rights.

Faye flinched a bit when she saw his smile. "Don't smile like that!" she said with a huff. "It makes me think that demon's taking over. If I wanted you to be a full demon I would've made you one back in my lab." she said sitting down next to Nicholas with her feet together.

Nicholas shook his head. "I apologize for this smile. Insanity may make you do things you don't want to." He said and laid he head on her shoulder. "The demon isn't taking over. Don't worry about that. I have it at bay and will make sure he won't control me okay?" He said with a nice, cute smile. "I want to be with you. I won't let that demon change that." He told her even though he didn't mean to say it out loud.

'I want to be with you.' The words rang strangely in Faye's undead head. Was that what she was feeling? Lately her reaction towards Nicholas had somehow become less 'I want to keep you around' like a pet or another subject, but more 'I want to be with you' like another person, like Nicholas had said. Either way, it still confused her a bit and the feeling just continued to bounce around in her noggin until it fell into place. "Please don't go insane." she said hugging him. "I like you like this, I don't want Mr. Demon making you go loopy or scary." Most knew that Faye had her own moments of insanity, but they usually came out in a more childish demeanor rather than any sort of disturbing form.

Nicholas's insanity slowly diminished and he soon hugged back, his cheeks burning red. "I like myself like this too. I will never allow it to take over. That demon will not take control of my body again. I promise." He said and hugged her a bit harder. He really loved her and he could tell that she started to care for him the same way too.
