New Day~
A couple of days after Vladimir had gave him that very rude phone call, Kevin had went around doing what he had asked of him. With the way Vlad had acted on the phone, he didn't felt like doing it at all and had only decided to do it our of a favour for Hansel, since he was friend with Vladimir and Dante. Obviously, the lawyer had enraged Vladimir by laughing, but when you were the only lawyer in town, you would expect people who need your services to let you laugh at their misery if they wanted anything done. Point being, he was now entering the store from the front door. he wasn't wearing his usual business suit, seeing as how Summer was a season way too hot for him. No, instead, he was wearing a light blue stripped button up shirt with shorts, revealing legs that betrayed the man's liking for the indoor by their whiteness. Not that he cared about it, since he couldn't see them. Like always, his outfit was finished by his dark sunglasses and his cane. He also had with him his usual briefcase containing everything a blind lawyer needed."Anyone's here?" He asked aloud. What? They couldn't expect him to see them, now could they?

 "I was expecting a visit from you. Or rather a phone call..
" Vlad said as he slipped from behind the counter and met up with Kevin. Idiot lawyer had laughed at him over the phone, but at the time he was angry, he had snapped. And he was the only lawyer on the island.. probably should make nice. Not to mention how pasty as ******** this boy was and when he actually saw Kevin he always felt bad for the man.. being blind, near blind whatever. "Want some coffee Kevin? or Tea? Booze?" Vlad offered gently. "On the house of course. Ill have to apologize for... snapping on the phone. I.. they just really hit a button with me, but i shouldnt let it get to me." Vlad idly said as his voice trailed off and he looked around for Camelia. Nothing could bother him as long as he had a new go to girl for sex. Sex made everything better, well for him it did. Because while engaging in sex, he was the one in control, he was the master of the universe and for a few moments he was free and in a state of pure bliss.... Vlad blinked his mind had wandered, so he shook his head and turned back to Kevin. "Follow me, we can meet in the survelience room. You can sit in there, and we can talk in private." Vlad added before he offered his hand to the man. "You need help navigating there?" Vlad asked him.

"Vladimir, a good lawyers always meet his client in person. Phonecalls are made only for quick questions and setting up meetings." Kevin said with a small smile. People could be aprehencive of his blindness, but when they saw all the effort he put into it, it usually help them knowing that he wasn't a fraud. It was simply psychology, really."And ordering Chinese food and hooker.", he then finished with a slight shrug. Not that he had ever ordered any prostitute over the phone, but that was the only other good use of it he could see.
"Coffee would be good. No milk, about half a cup of suggar please." Was that a lot of sugar? No. He would have usually put close to three cup of sugar for his coffee. That man loved his sweat. He just didn't want Vladimir to take forever into figuring how to make it fit in the cup without spilling it and still have some coffee. It was all in the heat and the stirring!
"Apologies accepted. I shouldn't have laugh. But for the future, Vladimir, when you need someone's help, you shouldn't snap at them even if they are being douches to you. Especially if they are the only one on the island who can help you. The moment there's another lawyer in town, well, you can send me to hell anytime I ask for it." He smiled. Not that he was kidding. He really was more upset about the fact that Vladimir had taken him for granted rather than him being angry. Anger was a normal reaction at that moment. "And yes, please. Do guide me. I can move on my own to go to point A to point B, but for that, I need to know just where those two points are."

A R L E T T E ♥ M A Y F A I R  Sighing, Arlette made her way down the sidewalk just outside the General Store. She wasn't sure of how great of an idea it was to leave Cassidy in charge of helping the moving people get their house all settled, but she really needed to get groceries for dinner. Looking around, she found that the town did seem rather lovely; A good place to move to. A bit hesitantly, the young woman approached the door, opening it carefully. Taking just a few quiet footsteps inside, she could see two men inside with a bit of an intense aura around them. Suddenly, coming here didn't seem like such a bright idea, as she didn't want to intrude. In an almost mouselike manner, she subconsciously hid behind a shelf, something she did without even thinking. Location: Inside the General Store

 " Like i said.. i was angry.. i tend to, say and do things i shouldnt when im angry or having a panic attack." Vlad said honestly. "Ill guide you there, then ill get your coffee Kevin." Vlad said gently. He led Kevin through the store and to the back room. He just gently gave the man commands as to what was infront of him, about how far it was away and if he needed to turn, or head straight or whatnot. When they made it to the back room which was pretty much straight back and to the left, Vlad opened the door to the survellience room and described the room to Kevin briefly so that the male could find the desk and chair and sit down. "Ill be right back." Vlad said as he left Kevin to grab the coffee and put.. wait Half a cup of sugar?! Dear god.. Whatever though. So Vlad came back with a hot, almost overflowing cup of coffee with a half a cup of sugar in it. He set it down infront of Kevin lightly brushing the cup against Kevins hand so that the blind man would know exactly where it was. "There you go. Let me know if its alright." Vlad said as he stayed standing, he could keep an eye on the monitors this way. ______ Meanwhile in the store Dante was busy cleaning and lightly humming to himself. It didnt take him long to spot the new girl who came into the store. He was about to call Camelia when he remembered the woman had been REALLY BITCHY to them lately, mostly Vlad.. but still.. woman hormones.. Number one reason why he never went through with a sex change. Scary s**t. "Hi can i help you miss?" Dante asked as he came up to the girl who was hiding behind a shelf. "Do you need something? We dont bite." Dante said softly.

A R L E T T E ♥ M A Y F A I R The girl sighed. Good, nothing happened. Carefully, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a neatly folded, though slightly crumpled up, list. On it was everything from food to cleaning supplies, all written in either Arlette's pristine cursive or Cassidy's rushed manuscript. Most of the stuff her friend had written down contained massive amounts of sugar, or were just plain-out junk food. Also, towards the bottom of the list in big bold letters read "ASK ABOUT JOB". That's right! How could she have forgotten. Turning behind slightly to see if they had anything about jobs written on the door, she gasped in surprise when instead, there was a man. It wasn't that he was scary or anything and his tone of voice was quite nice, she just wasn't expecting someone to be there. "Um, hi!" Arletter greeted, a bit of s sheepish grin on her lips, "I'm okay... just have to pick up a lot of stuff." She shifted the list slightly. It wouldn't be that hard to navigate around the store, but then the girl remembered about the jobs. Looking up at him, she said, "Do you happen to have any job spots available? I just moved in and kind of need one." It was blunt, but hey, it was true. The bills weren't going to pay themselves.Location: Inside the General Store

"So, really... There isn't much to say. I've spoken with Mister Alvey and he has accepted to change the name of his establishment to Torpedo Inn in exchange that no lawsuit against Libel is made. I'll remind you again that this is called Libel, not Slander.Know your defamation terms. If you keep wishing to sue for slander, be my guess but I'm not taking a lost cause... " The lawyer said, shrugging before taking another sip of his coffee. He then grabbed his bag and took out a large file out, containing 3 smaller filed in it, if as well as a pen. "If this is alright with you, you can sign at the bottom of every document and date them to today." He smiled at Vladimir and took another sip out of the coffee cup, finishing it. Who said that coffee should have been drank slowly? "Oh, of course... if you do sign those, you also accept to pay me for my work... I had worked for free for Hansel, as to make a name for myself, but... I can't keep on going making free suits for everyone, now can I? Don't worry. I'm making you a friend's price. Only a couple of hundreds."

"Whats libel?" Vlad questioned before he waved his hand and leaned forward to look over the papers. "It doesnt matter how it gets done, just so long as its legal and quick." Vlad added dismissing the thought. " If the end result is him changing the name of the Inn then thats all i want. Torpedo Inn works for me, i wont file a lawsuit as long as he changes it to that." Vlad said as he picked up a pen and clicked it so he could write with it. "I understand i have to pay you Kevin. I didnt expect a free handout." Vlad smirked. "I know you have to pay the bills somehow." Vlad added gently. " But yes.. this is all fine for me. How long will it take to get him to change it?" Vlad said as he started signing and dating the papers for today while reading them over carefully. "And how much is all this going to cost?"______________ "Oh a job! Of course we have two openings. We could really use a cashier upstairs and always another stocker. We have two levels of merchandise now it can be hard to manage at times." Dante said cheerfully. " Well lets get your items first miss.. oh im Dante and the other tall male around here who looks like me is Vladimir. Where twins we own the place and help with running it." Dante added gently. "We also have Camelia she is a sweet woman.. " Dante said as he paused, in thought. Okay she wasnt sweet at the moment but anyways. " ...who does stocking and sometimes cashing too. And she's our techie if the security system goes on the fritz." Dante said with a smile.

A R L E T T E ♥ M A Y F A I R Arlette smiled cheerfully upon hearing there were jobs available. Thank goodness! Now she and Cassidy wouldn't end up broke by the end of the season, which is always a very, very good thing. As he introduced himself, the man mentioned that himself and his twin ran the general store with help from someone named Camelia. Though he said she was sweet, he seemed to be uncertain about it, making the girl worry just a bit. "Nice to meet you, Dante," She said with a smile, "My name is Arlette. I hope I'll be able to help you out."Location: Inside the General Store

"Oh any help is good help." Dante said with a smile. "Have you ever worked a cash register before? Or no?" Dante asked, if not he could train her real quick. And if she did then he would just give her a simple tour of the place. ___ "Ah.. alright. You sure? That seems.. cheap." Vlad frowned lightly. He pulled out the checkbook anyways and started writing a check for $300 instead. Hey why not, he could afford it. And he had yelled at Kevin over the phone. So it was more.. apology money than anything else. Vlad was in the middle of check writing when Kevin mentioned Hans. Vlad paused.. "Yeaaaah... " Vlads voice trailed off at Kevins last comment. " Um.. you, might want to give him a call. Or visit him. I wont.. say too much Kevin but... " Vlad paused, the man had put up with his crap. But Hans was a friend. But hiding something was almost worse than speaking the truth. It just depending on whom he was talking to. Kevin was.. well he had no beef with the man so... " He got a new assistant and i think he has the hots for her. Thats all im saying though. The rest, is between you and him." Vlad added lightly and with a smirk. He finished the check and signed it before handing it over to Kevin. "Here you go. Or would you rather have cash?" Vlad asked him.

IT was then that Vladimir’s mood changed. One wouldn’t need to be able to see the man to know that something was wrong. Just the air around him seemed disturbed for a reason or anyother. So, there was something wrong with Hans. Was he sleeping with someone else? That would just be priceless, wouldn’t It be? Especially after he had hinted a couple of time that he was worried that Kevin was doing the same thing… not that he wasn’t, but he had never said they would be in a monogamous relationship, nor did the German ever asked anything about it. ”I see… A new assistant, eh…” He had not told him about her either. How long was it going? Kevin wasn’t angry, far from it. A little upset, maybe, but barely. He was more curious than anything else. ”Well then… He did say he didn’t like waiting after me. I guess he couldn’t wait anymore. “ He said with slight irritation in his voice. God, that German was hypocrite… yeah, he wasn’t one to talk, but still
He got up from his chair, taking the check that Vladimir was handing him, not even noticing the 100$ extra that was on it. Thanks for your patronage, Vladimir. Call whenever you want.” He turned around and opened the door of the back room and easily made his way out of the store. Once he knew the way in, it was fairly easy to find the way out. The would probably the last time he heard of the German. He wasn’t the kind to run after them… He didn’t mind loosing the lover, but Hansel had been a good friend. That part wasn’t pleasant. Oh well, if he wanted something, he knew where to find him.

...By now, River was just confused. While the walk to the clothing store had been full of excitement on the blonde's part, the walk to the store had been quiet, as she tried to keep up with Zhi. Usually she would have to be careful that she didn't just stroll on right ahead, but she was wearing a skirt, a skirt that Zhi had picked out for her, and she was so anxious about messing it up that she walked stiffly. The more she thought of it, the more robotic her actions became, and by the time they stepped through the doors, she was practically marching. To add to her awkwardness was confusion, since she had thought that they were just window shopping, as friends do in movies, but then Zhi had changed the plans so quickly, and really, River didn't know stereotypically girl friend-y thing they were doing now!
Now that they were there, she spoke for the first time since she let out a stream of confused sounds as they left the clothing store. "Zhi, what are we doing here?" she questioned, being dissatisfied with the sort-of explanation she had received before. "Are you going to cook something?" she questioned innocently. It didn't occur to her that when Zhi left, the general store had had a small restaurant attached to it, and hadn't been in town to see it change. But then again, River always looked at the world solely from her point of view, and assumed everyone else did, too.

“..We're going to eat! I'm very hungry and you didn't have dinner, right?” She answered, smiling more naturally as she heard the next comment. Cook~? Awe, she never knew River could be so cute! Well, she did, but she meant personality-wise, not appearance! “Do you want me to cook something? I would be happy to cook for you if you want me to, River!” She said eagerly as she entered the store – she would! She wasn't the best at cooking, but Alex had told her what River liked and Zhi was sure a quick internet search could help her~ ..Or at least bugging Alex until he taught her something River liked to eat. “But, we will have to do that later. I thought we could eat out together today..” Like a romantic dinner for two~! She didn't know how the bistro was run, but she was sure she could demand ask politely for a special place to eat~! She looked around at that for some employee to help them out, somewhat happy to get her eyes off of River. Ah~ She wasn't sure she would ever get used to looking at her!

Vlad was the only one downstairs at the moment. After learning of Camelia being pregnant with his child. He had told the girl to take some time to herself so she wouldnt be in for a bit. His twin, Dante was upstairs as well, crying his damned eyes out over Raidens behavior one night while the two where getting freaky. Vlad's other worker.. what was her name? Arlette or something? She might have been floating around. But Vlad hadnt noticed anything, aside from his own damned thoughts and the parenting magazine infront of him. Internally he was still panicking over what he needed to do. Externally he was just quiet and withdrawn for now. He barely noticed the two young women come into his store. More like they had triggered another set of thoughts for the tall dark haired male. What if i have a little girl? What do i do when she hits puberty? What age do you stop aiding them in bath-time? What if they drown in the water in the bathtub?! What about when she gets older and she starts dating?! Or driving! Driving and dating?! I think i need to buy a shotgun..no one would get near my little girl.. What if she's gay though? Or bi? ... i think i still need a shotgun.
