Confirms the rumours that has been circling around these past months
about Warriors of Chaos on november,
which either means we´ll get a new army book (which seems unlikely)
or yet unreleased/new models (which seems likely).

1: It is a "retinue-style" mini
or

Exactly my thought when you pointed it out, Asmondai ...
I have possibly diffrerent feelings about it, though, i mean, the Man is a walking, teleporting, fighting, omnious plot ....
And that he is back can actually mean that GW is starting to get ready for a major(?) change in the 40K-verse .... if we are lucky ... or unlucky.

I fear GW is reserving the movement of the plot to the main rulebook and not to the White Dwarf or codex books. Seeing as the 6th edition has not advanced the clock one iota sadly I think we can safely assume that it is going to be quite some time before anything happens. gonk

may as well throw this one out there though ive heard nothing else about it recently, but according to one of the independant retailers i was at earlier today GW is releasing the chaos cultists in a 5-man snapfit box sometime in the coming month (ala imperial guard/marine/chaos warriors/skeletons/etc)

would be cool if they did, though id assume it would just be a handful of the cultists from the DV box on a smaller sprue sweatdrop

It wouldn't surprise me one bit, as GW did the same with the Lothern Sea Guard from the fantasy starter, selling them on slightly recut sprues of ten models.

The Chaos Cultists will come in small boxes not much unlike the current line of snap-fit reinforcements such as the Cadians and Chaos Space Marines already have. The contents are three cultists with auto guns and two with auto pistols. Bit of an odd composition, it does make the creation of bigger units a tad harder. gonk

It might've been better if they did two boxed sets, one with automatics, the other with close combat models. If the suggested contents are going to be it, well crap, not cool.
