John waited until Bullseye was out of sight before happily bounding around his mate.

Jane rolled with him, attempting to use her mate's momentum to land herself on top of the male's chest. "Lucky guess," she retorted with a smirk.

Rolling to a stop on his back, with Jane on top of him, the male grinned up at her.
"Nu uh, I picked you out and you know it! I was right!"
Tail wagging, John batted up at her playfully, just as he had done in his pup days.

John nipped at the paw, batting back at her.
"Right..."
Just then, Cypher walked into the clearing. It had been at least a day since he had been to the cave...and he had returned with food! Though it was Smith who had caught the fish for him, but they didn't need to know that right? The pup had eatten the first fish, and dragged the second one back as a gift to John and Jane. Maybe it'd get them to follow him...

At the sound of Cypher's approach, Jane quickly hopped away from her mate. Composing herself, she turned to face the visitor. "You're back?" Jan asked, stating the obvious

The pup dragged the fish over, dropping it before the two.
John hopped to his feet, smirking at Cypher.
"Caught it all on your own huh? Good job little guy!"
The pup growled a bit, fur starting to bristle.
