Edel smiled, though it was a little...different than before. "It's not hard to stay on my good side." she replied. She glanced briefly over at her room to address the Fates, but they had already vanished. Her almost flirty little smile faded, and she turned her attention back to Strange. "Well then...why don't we see about making your break comfortable." she said.
Reaper frowned a bit. He wanted it to NOT be a problem. Being allowed out, and doing something other than "work" sounded really good right now. "I don't imagine it is...I have other duplicates out and about. I think it was just because two were so close here." he replied.

Strange blinked at her. Was she... flirting? "There's no pressing need," he told her, "I can wait, if you have other things that you need to take care of." She looked pretty swamped, and he didn't want her to think that he couldn't pull out a chair and wait for twenty minutes.
Felicia smiled mischievously. "Well, I would say that we should get out of here, but our last play date ended so badly that I'm a little afraid to."

Edel smiled appreciatively. "Alright. If you go down the stairs to the next floor, you'll find plenty of rooms to stay in." she replied. "I should have servants around on that floor tending to other guests. They'll get you anything you'd like."
Reaper grinned at the sight of her smile. "Well then, we'll just have to find a game other than sneaking into secret-high-security-bases." he replied. "Maybe we could sneak into...' he began, then stopped. He was going to say that fat man's mansion, but....he didn't do so well once he actually met the fat man. And he didn't want to have to make Cat sit through another pit stop again. "...a jewelry store or something. I could try and make it harder for you to steal something."

Strange nodded, glanced at Felicia again, shook his head, and started off in the indicated direction, taking the stairs nice and slowly. It would be just like him to trip on a rug and break his neck.

Felicia beamed at him, but shook her head. "It was my choice last time. You get to pick. Surprise me." She wasn't trying to be flirtatious, really she wasn't; it wasn't as though she winked or anything. If her smile was just a touch most suggestive than it really should have been, how could you blame her? Force of habit.

As Edel had said, there were a few women waiting around in the hallways. Just standing there, waiting for something to do. One woman in an old, early American style dress glanced up at Strange as he made his way down the stairs and flashed him a smile.
"Good evening, sir. Is there anything we can help you with?"

Reaper's smile grew a bit. "Alright. I can think of a few places..." he said, then looked to Edel. "Hey, do you have anything Felicia can wear that would be more...comfortable to go out in?"
Edel smiled. "I suppose my style doesn't suit everyone. Follow me...I'm sure I'll have....something in one of my other rooms." she replied, then turned to walk down the hall.

Strange looked taken aback. "Um... I..." He suddenly realized that he still smelled faintly of seawater, and recognized something else underneath that. A different smell. ... Brimstone? He shivered. "Yeah, actually. Do you have a place where I can take a shower? And I'd like to wash my clothes. There hasn't really been time."

Felicia leaned forward, kissed Reaper softly on the (Mouth! Just KISS him already! Since when do you--) cheek, then hurried after Edel. Any change of clothes could only be an improvement.

The woman smiled. "Of course. Right this way to the bath. If you leave your clothes in the corner, one of us will come in and take your clothes to be washed. We'll leave you some robes out, and someone will be waiting to show you to one of the spare rooms until your clothes are washed." she said, leading him down the hall.

Reaper blushed, yet again, after her kiss. He smiled and watched her walk down the hall and disappear into one of the spare rooms.

Still in her pajamas, and suddenly very conscious of the fact that she didn't have any shoes, Zatanna used her free hand to carefully knock on the beautifully carved door of the old house. She didn't think she could have teleported in without clearance; besides, it wasn't polite. "Hello?" she called softly, "This is going to sound really strange, but you're clearly a powerful magic user, and I seriously need to sleep. I'd be happy to trade something for your hospitality..."

Mind was wondering where he had been taken, when his commlink beeped.
"Mind? Mind, come in. Do you have the magician with you? Have you taken her to Sivana?" came a heavily accented German voice: Captain Nazi.
"s**t!" Mind said aloud, waiting for Zatanna to hurl him against a wall or something.

Zatanna went very still, then slowly looked down at her extended palm with icy blue eyes. "Don't you just hate it when that happens?" she asked in a low, deceptively pleasant voice. "You're about to flawlessly pull one over on a hapless victim, and then 'bam'! Your comm gives you away. Isn't that just luck?" Turn him into a toad? No. To overdone. Maybe she would set him on fire. That was simple and to the point.

Mind sighed. "Just listen to me, woman. Apparently Sivana thinks Captain Marvel, one of my greatest enemies, has the hots for you. And... to be honest, if I were him, I would too. But that's beside the point. I came to your apartment on my own accord, not because Sivana wanted me to. He wants to pull off one of those generic 'damsel in distress' deals, where the hero saves the beautiful girl... problem is, Sivana knows Marvel better than most anyone, so he'd have a plan.
"Me, I want to get back at Sivana for locking me in a time loop. I still don't much care for Marvel, but I'll be willing to work with him to help bring Sivana down. Would you try and convince Marvel that I'm on his side for once? He wouldn't believe me if I told him, so I figure if his crush told him..."

Zatanna had to physically force herself not to ball her hands into fists. "This is ridiculous! He just decided that he had a crush on me... let me see... Yeah. Literally less than an hour ago. How can you people already know about it? Plus, can I just point out, he's a fifteen year old kid; the fact that he can't stop staring at a woman in fishnets is hardly significant. Last I remember, he had a crush on Power Girl. Incidentally, sure, I'll tell him. Whatever. I'm trying to figure out why my best friend is missing, and where Doctor Fate's helmet is, and why the hell I was abandoned alone in the satellite in the first place, but fine. " This was REALLY starting to get on her nerves.

Mister Mind just stared. "Sheesh... Calm down, lady, I just saved your life and you act like this? You realize I wasn't the only rogue of Marvel's in Gotham? Sivana had us organized and looking all over for him since he wasn't in Fawcett City. The guy I was paired with, the German dude? Yeah, he'd probably have killed you if we hadn't left-- after all, he's called Captain Nazi, for Pete's sake! So don't take your frustrations out on me!"
"Mind, Mind are you there?" came the voice of Captain Nazi again, and Mind shook his head, making the commlink fly off his head.
"Screw you, Krieger, and screw Sivana," he muttered.

Zatanna drew in a deep breath. "Sorry. It's been a really long night." A really long night that mostly stemmed from being mistaken for the star-crossed lover of Captain Marvel. Rolling her eyes, she tried knocking again.

It took a moment, but the door finally opened far enough for someone to peek out of it from the other side. An older gentleman with a thick mustache that curled a bit at the corners, looked out at the guests.
"I'm sorry, the lady of the house is a bit busy to come down and see you in person. May I help you?" he asked.
