Keegan turned begging eyes to the fae man. Taranieth took a moment to understand. "Ah." he said. "I believe Keegan would like the fuzzy ones not to leave at all- correct, Kee? I am not sure what to say to the doctor should she notice their disappearance, but it seems a good enough plan bar that issue."
Keegan smiled at him in a Yay! sort of way and turned back to the kitten, trying to teach it to purr and comforting it when it produced only the cutest of mewling sounds.

Later the world will intrude...  Patrick blinked for a moment, then moved around his sister to get to Keegan, hugging him tightly. "THANK YOU! She's wanted rid of them from her house for ages, but was far too kind to force me to find somewhere else since my mother wouldn't let them into our home.
They messed up the house sometimes..."
The young man released Keegan and bit his lip as he prayed that his disclosure would not change the dragon's mind.

Later the world will intrude... Relieved yet deflated - the dragon hadn't even noticed the hug!! - Patrick went back to sit close to his sister, back to the wall as he leant his head against it with a yawn.

Later the world will intrude... Emmy's eyes widened and she stared at Patrick. "Patty need sweep? B-but kitty can't come Emmy house! Emmy stay Torn?"
Patrick shook his head at Taran. "We don't have to leave yet, Em. Big brother is fine..." he smiled with another yawn, then turned his head towards the Faery.
"Could we sleep over for a few hours? I'll return Emmy by dawn...?"... but for now let's just hold one another and smile.

Taranieth rolled his eyes. "Patrick, if you want to convince me that you're not sleepy, you need to try harder. As to you, Emma... You need to help me get your brother home, Okay? You'll come visit Thorn some other time." He reasoned. He ignored the idea of sleeping over. Waking at dawn was hard enough. Making him trek home before then was evil.

Later the world will intrude... The child turned from one man to the other, uncomprehending who she ought to help. Then it occured to the little girl that she did not have to choose: playing with Thorn was much more fun!
Picking the kitten up, she moved slowly with him to a corner and sat down to stroke him.
"Taranieth, we only just arrived and look how much fun she's having! I can't force her home now, just because of some yawning!!" He exclaimed, a hint of a plea in his voice.... but for now let's just hold one another and smile.

Later the world will intrude... "Half an hour then? If we leave then, then I can get Emmy to bed in time for mum to come wake her up and sleep in a tree for a while..." He suggested, forgetting the promise not to go wandering around in the dark. However, he truly did believe he would always be safe...... but for now let's just hold one another and smile.

Later the world will intrude... With another tiny yawn, the young man lay his head onto Taranieth's shoulder, nuzzling into him in contentment.
"I knoooww... but she's so happy I can't make her go home yet when she hasn't had a chance to play with her favourite kitty..." he mumbled, eyes closing.... but for now let's just hold one another and smile.

The fae man could have produced many witty comments, but instead simply lay his golden head onto Patricks`, settling comfortably to watch the little girl, the cats, and the dragon.
Fudge decided he was bored with the hair for the moment and went to try to bite the smoke rings Keegan was making for the little ones.
