So as part of this whole Questing thing I am doing with friends, we all have vowed to not spend any gold until we have enough for our big "questing item" part of this pact was to get rid of all our gold before Jan 1 to start out fresh. When I was down to about 300 gold I found Fairy Ring, an item I have NEVER seen before and only about 10,000k. I could have so easily gotten it before the end of the year, but now I am oathbound to not spend gold til I have gotten my item. Please send me tea and sympathy here. You guys always make me feel better. I can get it next year, or after we all have our items.

iKillCaustic--uKillMe 42 is kinda hard to forget...I love The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Have you ever read the Dirk Gently novels? He only wrote two, and The Long Dark Tea Time Of The Soul, is SO much better than the first one. Douglas Adams is still missed at our house

Love to Paint iKillCaustic--uKillMe 42 is kinda hard to forget...I love The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Have you ever read the Dirk Gently novels? He only wrote two, and The Long Dark Tea Time Of The Soul, is SO much better than the first one. Douglas Adams is still missed at our house Oooh, I LOVE that book! So funny ... but then, Adams tended to be anyway ... I don't usually reread books a ton, but I've read Tea Time probably half a dozen times.

I wish I could remember what the name of the other Dirk Gently book is, though. A Mote in God's Eye. Now I can't remember, though (it's 2 in the morning) if I've read it or not. xP I'll have to check in the used bookstore downtown tomorrow, to see if she has it ...
