But she stood up, and went over to smile at the infant. "She's beautiful. But...I don't see any Adrian." She nodded thoughtfully, and patted her boyfriends shoulder. "I think this was all Liz. Well, you try again." After she said those words, her cheeks flamed, and she involitarily pressed a hand to her stomach, while looking at Liz's stomach. "In you know...like, five years."

Liz carefully scooped Julia into her arms. My baby's eyes fluttered open. She looked around absently. "Look at that." Liz pointed out. "No one in my family has blue eyes." Liz smiled over at me. I can't believe I hadn't noticed that before. She did have blue eyes. So it wasn't all Liz after all. Liz walked over to me and started handing Julia over to me. I started to protest, but she had already placed Julia in my arms. This scared me to death. I wasn't known for being gentle. I bit my lip and kept still, as Julia's eyes landing on me. I could have swearn she smiled. I couldn't help but smile as well. She was so perfect. "Adrian?"I froze at the sound of an absilutely horrible voice. "Adrian?" My mom asked again. I didn't want to turn around. I wasn't going to. She shouldn't be any where near by baby. Given her past with children. "Adrian!? Why if there blood every where, and why are the police here!?" My mother snapped. Tired of being ignored. "Because," My voice was cold, but I kept quiet, so I wouldn't upset Julia. "Some a** broke in and Alec got hurt." I knew mom would under stand now. She loved Alec. Actually, she loved Jared. So, she loved who ever he dated. "Oh my. That is horrible. I'll go get rid of that blood." My mom said, sounding terrified. I didn't know if she was scared because of the man, and Alec getting hurt. Or because Alec's infected blood was on her floor. Never the less, mother hurried out of the room to do her choire. I breathed out a great sigh of relief when she left. But my moment of peice was short lived. 'Cause, in stepped my father. But... I kind of like him. "Nice little girl you got there. Did you steel her from an ophenige, or is she yours?" Dad joked. I laughed only slightly, under my breath. "She's mine... and Liz's." I decided to include the mother, or Liz would hurt me. I know it. My father smiled over at Liz. "Nice to see you again hon. Is you mother dead yet?" Normally, that would be a horrible question. But Liz know's how much we hate her. "Unfortunetly, not yet." Liz shrugged. "Ya know what, I'm going to go check on Andrew." Liz kissed Julia on the forehead then went out to the living room. My dad waited for Liz to leave. He turned to me after she was gone. "What a beautiful girl. I'm surprised Mrs. Kruz hasn't killed you yet." "Well she wants too. Along with Julia. Why do you think Liz brought her here. Plus, Savanah showed that witch who's boss." I said, nodding over in savanah's direction. My dad turned to her. "Thank you! I have been wanting to do that for years."I sat down on the bed and positioned Julia so that she was partuallly laying on my lap but still in my arms. I was so glad at least my father liked my daughter. I would much reither keep it from my hateful mother. ❝I can't stand another fight... nothing's alright...❞

❝ Is it over yet... can I open my eyes... ❞I looked down at Jacob, shaking my head. I turned my head towards Dimitri. "'Cause you not mean." I turned back to Jacob. I reached down and smacked him up side the head. "Hey!" He snapped. "I got him to sleep, or at least semi-asleep."I shook my head. "God, your horrible. You know, Jocye is still afriand of her closet and her window because of you." I glared at Jacob. Jacob shrugged and stood up, still holding Carter in his arms. "You ask for help, I give it. Begger's can't be choosy." he looked around for a second. "So, where does this little guy go now?" I just shook my head. "Savanah's room." I said simpley. I could feel Jacobs confused gaze on me. "Up stairs. Trust me. You can't miss it."On that note, Jacob went up stairs to put Carter to bed. "Since when have I become a wadgering object?" Jorden said as he rested his chin on his crossed arms. He looked up at me, his red eye calm but they still scared me some what. I walked over to Jorden. "I don't know." I patted him on the head like some dog. He looked up at me in confusion. I just shrugged and headed back out side. "I found it!!" jacob called from upstairs. I just shook my head and headed out the door. I sat down on the front pourch. I sighed and leaned ageinst the railing. Every one is so happy and care free. I just wish all this drama would just leave me alone so I could be care free too. ❝ Is this what it really feels like... is this what it's like to cry... ❞

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ ❝ Can't you hear me screaming... oh babe don't go... ❞ After Tyson left, I just sat down on the couch. I hated being alone. I hated how quite it was. I hated all of this. I feel like crap. But I guess I diserve this. But two years of drug use, and I'm cut off just like that. You try staying sane! It's impossible. I could take this any more. I stood up and head to the back door. I stepped out side and just stood there. I didn't know what to do. My mind was twisted up and running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I could think straight, and I felt sick. I knew I wasn't but there was a war going on between my body and my mind at the moment. I sat down on the back steps. I was surprised I was so calm around Carter. Well, no one wants to mean to a child. Unless your my father. I shook my head. The last thing I need at the moment is to think about my stupid dad. I don't need that stress ontop of every thing else. Plus there was Jet. I was going to have to talk to him. Thats if, he doesn't hate me already. Maybe he wishes me dead. God I hope not. If he does, there is no reason to stick around here any more. I would just head down to Hawaii. Stay with the one person who doesn't and would never hate me. My adorible little grandma. So sweet and selfless. I miss her. My eyes drifted up to the trees. I just sat there, staring at them. Thats all I could do. Afriad if I moved, then I would lose it. ❝ For crying out loud... you know I love you...❞

You know what, I think I'm going to head out. That Guy is already taken away, and there are some things I have to tie up with aunt Clara."I nodded. "Okay. I think Savanah and I will head out tomorrow. I just want to see you before we leave.""Sure thing buddy. See ya later." Andrew waved good-bye and left. I turned back to Savanah. "So back to Carter. "BRB." She hopped out of the room, and out of the house. She started walking around, trying to let Adrian have a good talk with his dad. She didn't need to be there for that. So, she walked around, ending up pretending she was on the tightrope, balancing on the edge of the sidewalk. She held her arms out wide, like an idiot, wobbling, and almost falling. She laughed to herself. "Try that for real, and you'd be dead."Savanah looked over her shoulder. A guy stood there. He smiled shyly at her. Savanah flashed him the peace sign, forgetting to hold her balance, and fell on her butt. "You say 'I told you so' and you die." Savanah grumbled as she picked herself up. The boy laughed, and stuck out his hand. "I'm Kyle. You...practicing, or something?" He jerked his head slightly, so his hair fell into his eyes. Savanah shook her head, shaking his hand. "More like killing time. I'm Savanah."He shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans, shifting his weight from foot to foot. He shook more hair into his eyes. He was really young looking, when he did that. Vunrable. His hair was shaggy, curly, and hid his eyes from me. They were dark brown, and pretty. They were...innocent. Oh. That's why Savanah wanted him to stop moving his head around, so she could look at his eyes. It wasn't something she was used to, seeing innocent eyes. She didn't know anyone anymore that didn't have eyes that knew. They knew the s**t of the world. Their eyes were darker, harder, and more enclosed. Even Carter's eyes were guarded. He didn't accept people easily. He knew, to some degree, the s**t too. Kyle's eyes weren't like that. They were open, and almost childish. He ceirtainly hadn't been hurt, abused, or had hurt or abused in his life. His eyes were what Savanah wanted her's to be. She smiled through her ache. "Shy?"Kyle was so surprised, that he looked up, his eyes going wide, hair falling away from his face. He wasn't used to people being so blunt about questioning him. "Um...yeah. My parent's kept me locked up in the house most of my childhood...no socialisation..." He laughed softly for a second. Savanah nodded, swinging her arms, stirring up the scents around her. She caught Kyle's scent. Mint, lingering on his simple grey shirt, which was new, and from A&F. She could smell the colonge from that God awful store. The mint was his soap, she guessed. Dirt, from his jeans, fresh. There wasn't dirt on the jeans, though, that she could see. Axe shampoo, or colonge. He put it on lightly, so it wasn't overwellming, but smelled good. Then...the earth. Not like the dirt. More like trees, grass, sunlight, running, and moonbeams. She was used to smelling this under each were's own, personal smell. This is how she figured out who and who wasn't a were. She figured this was tied to her mind reading junk, that it mixed up her nose, and put the person's wolf's thought's and instincts into smell. Savanah froze, her arms going still. The smell was fainter then everyone else's. Not too much, but enough that she knew imidiently that Kyle hadn't shifted yet. Oh, poor guy. That fragile innocence in his eyes that Savanah found so amazing, was about to shatter. Kyle ducked his head. "It's not that bad..." He almost whimpered, like a lost puppy. Savanah realised that she was giving Kyle a sympithatic stare, and he was interpreting it as sympathy for his shyness. "Oh, um, no, I didn't mean that. I was thinking about something else. Hey, do you wanna come over to...my boyfriend's place? There's...something I want him to see."Kyle looked confused, but shrugged, and followed her back to Adrian's house. She thundered through the house, until she got back to Adrian, one arm holding onto Kyle's wrist, dragging him behind her. She shoved Kyle at Adrian. "Anything out of place?" She demanded. Kyle was throughly confused, and hunched down into his shoulder's like a turtle. He looked at Adrian almost fearfully. "Um..."

She always had a reason. The rest of the time pasted quite uneventfully. Dad and I just sat there, Julia had fallen asleep. I was slightly taken off guard when Savanah showed up with some random guy. She asked me if any was out of place. I could deffinetly see some thing. I stood up and carefully handed Julia over to my dad. I sighed and grabbed Savanah's wrist in one hand, and the new guys with the other and lead them into the living room. I looked over and noticed there was no trace of blood left on the floor. Which reminded me, I needed to call the hospital. I turned my attention back to Savanah and the kid. I glared at him. Yeah, there was some thing wrong here. My girlfriend was hooking up with random innocent little kids. That deffinetly seemed wrong to me. I was about to say some thing, when the kid him self struck me. He was innocent. Too innocent. Just by the look in his eyes. Then I smelle it. He smelled familier, but off. Faint. My expression lightened and my icey blue eyes fell on Savanah, almost shocked. He was a werewolf to be. I may be young, but any one could tell that. I opened my mouth to say some thing, when the hated voice cut me off. "Adrian? What the hell is this?!" My mother snapped. I had to force my self to turn around, knowing she would get even more mad if I ignored her. "How many times ave I told you, you are not allowed to bring people into this damn house!" She nearly growled. My mom stormed up to me. I was to afraid to make any kind of move in my defence. She reached out and grabbed my hair, hard. I cryed out, only breifly as she jerked me to one side. I grabbed at her arm, and tried to strugle. "You stupid child! How many times to you have to disobay me!" She hissed as she jerked me back to the other side. I wanted to cry. To give up and beg for forgiveness. I didn't want to be hurt by my own mother. But I forced my self to stay strong. "Savanah brought him here!" I cried. I knew I would get in trouble for that later. My mother froze. Her tight grip on my hair loosened, and eventually let go. I slipped away from her. "Oh, well then." My mom said lightly, a smile on her face. "Nice to meet you." She walked up to the boy and reached her hand out to shake. I straightened up. I looked over at Savanah, begging her not to hurt my mom. Plus, She really didn't need to see this. I fought back pained tears. I blind once or twice and deverted my eyes from savanah. I simply turned and head up stairs. My mom acking like nothing ever happened. to her, nothign did. To me, just another fight. I slipped into my room and closed the door. I sat down on my bed and pulled my knees up to my chest. I wrapped my arms around my legs and rested my head on them. I bit my lip. I wasn't going to cry. I wasn't weak like that. I was almost use to it. But it still hurt. On the inside, she wanted to tear the woman from peice to peice. But, seeing as that was not an open option, she settled for being...nice...as much as it hurt her. Kyle looked horrified, like he had just witnessed a murder. His eyes were still innocent, but they were full of terror, and disgust. He covered it up bravly, though, and shook the woman's hand. "I'm...Kyle...I didn't mean to make anyone upset..."Savanah grabbed his wrist. "We'll be leaving soon. I'll just grab Adrian, and we'll head over to the hospital." She smiled, and hurried to Adrian's room. She closed the door, and started inspecting every inch of his head. Once she had it down that he wasn't going to die, she kissed the whole surface of his head, ending in his lips. "I'm so sorry..." She said against his lips. "When I found him, I knew I couldn't just leave him there, to go through what we have, and...I'm sorry." She hugged him tight to her chest, then moved back. She guestured to Kyle. "Should we take him to Jorden's? Or...would he be mad for getting a new kid?" She looked at Kyle. He stared, still terrified, at the two were's. "What are you talking about? Send me where? Who's Jorden? Why couldn't you leave me?" Savanah expected him to break into tears, but she could tell he was actually getting calmer, more in control, with a slight built of anger of being kept in the dark settling over him. Savanah respected that.

You did nothing wrong." I said softly as I stood up. I kissed Savanah's hair. I ran my fingers through mine, happy to see that I wasn't skalped. I took a deep breath, to calm any remaining nerves. "I kinda don't know what to do at the moment. We do need to get him back to Jorden. Okay, we need to get him back to Micheal. Thats who's really in control. But," I turned to savanah and away from Kyle. I think that was his name. "We can still head over to see your mom if you want. Or we can drop him off with Jorden then go see her. If that's what you want." I utterly didn't want to take this away from Savanah. I know seeing her mom is big. Plus, I kind of want to meet her. I forced my self to stand up, luckily, not feeling as dizzy as before. I sighed once again and made my way up to Savanah's room, just as Jacob was leaving. I glared at him, and he franticly deverted his eyes and scrambled down the hall and back down stairs. I rolled my eyes and let my self into Savanah's room. After all, this is my house. I found Carter asleep. Okay, I know he wasn't really asleep. I smiled and stroked his hair. "You do know I'm fine. It would just make me feel better if you got your rest. I have seen what a lack of sleep can do to the body." I sighed, once again, and sat, cross-legged on the floor. I pushed my hair back over my shoulders and looked around the greatly done up room. It was fancy and nice. I just wondered if letting all these people into my home was really a good idea.
