Zed was flicking through more of his pictures.

He scratched his head and smiled.

Koko shifted uncomfortably & looked over her shoulder at Zed. She was about to say something, but then sighed, turned back to the window & leant against it. The glass was cool against her head. She closed her eyes, leaning most of her weight against the glass.

Zed put the pictures back in a pile then stood up and leant against the wall.
"Anywhere else you wanna go?"

Koko shrugged slightly, not opening her eyes.
"Not really, I don't particularly care if I'm honest...."
She pulled away from the window & began limping out of the room, not looking at the pilot.
"I'm going to sleep. Do whatever you want."
With that she exited the room & headed for the crew's quarters, albeit slower than she wanted to.

Zed shrugged and headed to the cockpit. He sat back in his chair and put his helmet back on, checking the various readings on the main monitor. After checking that everything was within safe working levels, he powered up the engines.

Koko reached the crew's quarters & flopped down on one of the beds. She curled up very small & bit her bottom lip slightly, talking through clenched teeth.
"Stupid, stupid, stupid!"
Screwing her eyes shut she tried to forget the events that had just transpired. It was like she was being messed around & she figured she should probably just leave.... but she couldn't bring herself to.

Zed gradually increased the Aiolos' speed and altitude, soon barely grazing Ares' atmosphere. He pulled on the control stick and the ship raised into orbit, still accellerating around the planet. Once the Aiolos had looped Ares several times Zed flicked a few switches and the FTL drive kicked in, launching the Aiolos out of Ares orbit.

While Zed had been piloting the ship, Koko had managed to fall asleep for a while. It was only once he'd got them out of Ares' orbit for a while that she woke up. Groggily, she sat up, looking around herself before swinging her legs over the edge of the bed. She inspected both her arm & leg, pleased to see that the antibiotics seemed to have worked on her arm, though her leg still seemed a bit of a mess. Sighing, she stood up, slowly heading for the cockpit.
When the mercenary entered the room & looked out of the cockpit window, it was only then that she realised they weren't one the planet anymore. Her eyes widened slightly & she took a step back.

Zed pointed to Koko's seat then waited for her to sit before he boosted the Aiolos to around 2 times the speed of light, quickly slingshotting around the Ares' sun and heading towards a huge purple gas planet that was in the system.
He slowed the Aiolos down as one of the gas giant's many rocky moons came into view.

Koko's eyes were really wide & she looked about in awe.
"How can it possibly go so fast? It's amazing!
She looked over at Zed, though she was also occupied by the things around the ship. It seemed incredible that so many things could exist in the universe around them.

"It is pretty awesome..."
The Aiolos approached the rocky moon. It had a shallow transparant liquid surface through which the rocky ground below was clearly visible.
"...Well, looks like we're not landing here... ah well, plenty more to see..."

Koko swivelled in her chair, tilting her head onto her hand & looking at Zed.
"Why are you showing me all this? Is there a reason or are you just showing off the Aiolos?"

Zed faced the Aiolos away from the moon and boosted the ship to even faster than before, shooting past the planet Ares.

Koko blinked slowly, lifting her head off her head & glancing out of the window. She watched things speed past the ship & couldn't help but marvel at how fast the ship could travel. She truly was a wonderful machine, she loved it & couldn't wait to make more upgrades to her. There were so many things that needed fixing. Looking back over at Zed she swallowed heavily before speaking.
"Errr Zed.... could you stop the ship in a sec? Somewhere it's not gunna get hit by anything if possible."

Zed stopped the Aiolos, somewhere between Ares and the drifting sleeper ship. Zed looked at the screens and then out the window.
"Looks like we've stopped... May I ask why?"
