A man pushed aside the screen and stared at them. "Not as much as her shooting an arrow through your eye would have hurt. I wish I could have seen that...but Igor had to send her out." He smiled. "I'll tell you something in reward for saving the girl. I am the man you look for, I live in your world, in your island, but this appearance is an illusion. You can call me after my arcana, The Fool." He bowed.

"Well, yeah... That would've sucked." Devon agreed without enthusiasm. "I'm personally kinda glad that didn't happen..." He leaned closer to Ringo. "I think he's our Physics teacher. I always thought he had it out for us."

The Fool vanished on the spot and appeared behind Devon, throwing his arm across his shoulders. "Oh, I have plenty or reasons to be cocky. One of which is my superior skill."

"All of you of course!" He smiled and skipped back a few steps. "Can any of you do this?" He suddenly had two cards in his hands. "Lucifer, Helel!" He crushed the two cards and summoned two angels, one demonic looking, the other bright and angelic.
Teddie gasped. "T-that's two persona! From two different arcana!"

The fool laughed. "Then I should whittle down your numbers a bit then huh? Hamadyne!" A blast of light came from Helel and hit Kai in his chest, sending him flying into a wall. He fell to the ground, blood coming out of his mouth.

Ringo looked back at Kai scared. "R-right." She started to run over to him.
The Fool laughed. "No, you won't be taking another step. Lucifer!"
Lucifer shot forward to grab Kana. The Fool smirked. "Stay still Ringo Adrian, or your littet sister dies right after you saved her.
Ringo froze mid step, shaking.

Devon hesitated then shook it off. "I hate to call you back so soon..." He said quietly, crumpling his card. Serion flicked his tail. "Ice Claw!" Devon ordered.

The Fool smiled. "Let's play a little game, can you get Kana back fast enough for Ringo to heal Kai in time? I can sense him getting cooolllddd." He laughed. "Helel! Brave blade!" Helel made a blade out of light and blocked Serion's claw.
