Remus still had enough strength to raise his pistol and he ordered his guards to fire....
Unfortunately, the Order of the Merging took advantage of his weakened state and concentrated their attacks on him. Remus began to feel his mind beginning to download to a new shell. His guards initiated a self destruct sequence....Er...belay that.
((Health: -25/100 X_X))

Emma rolled her eyes as the last survivors launched themselves at her-
And both found themselves frozen in place as Emma took control of their already-addled minds and forced them to beat themselves repeatedly over the head until they knocked themselves unconscious.

[[There is a healing mechanism, it's posted in the rules. You can revive someone but they'll be excluded from the next battle as a penalty, and the next battle their rolls will be reduced by 10.
The revived will be excluded.]]
The pub settled, and villagers stared in amazement. A few order of merging member's purple necklaces broke.
An Order of Merging member got up, but his mind control wore off."What the hell!?"

["someone from the party can revive you, but they'll be excluded..." They as in the healer, or the revived? Just checking ^^;]
Scribbler said nothing, just as confused as the un-possessed Merger was. She let the ink wall drop, crossing the room to where the Imperator was to assess the situation.
"...So, you don't remember anything? Your people attacked."

Emma folded her arms, eyes flashing with constrained fury. She continued trying to reach Farkson's mind, her own senses stretched to their limit.

"Listen lass I have no clue what you're talking about," Said the Night person in a London/Nodnol accent."Where am I? This looks like the worst pub in existence..."
Are you? Came a reply, the first coherent thought from Farskon.

((He means I can't fight the next battle. I have to hang back.)) Remus' system was still mostly intact and the download was postponed. His guards quickly set about trying to fix him.
At the moment, all Remus could see was static and the words PLEASE STAND BY...

The wiring...it was everywhere. Ink became solder as the inkmancer attempted to piece back the broken bits to help the automatons' progress...but she had no blueprint, and they seemed to know what they were doing.
"Heck if I know." The voice was cold and snappish, but completely expected from the situation. Scribbler stepped back once it became clear the guards could handle it. She paced nervously, holding her paintbrush like a divining rod and hoping it would dip or rise depending on the location.
Farskon, come on, I know you're still alive...
"Do you think...aboveground or belowground?"

Emma almost breathed a sigh of relief when she heard the Paladin's thoughts. She latched onto the mental connection, holding tight to it.
Farkson? Can you hear me?

Remus' optics snapped back online and he could see Scribbler bending over him with the guards.
The Imperator rubbed his sparking, dented skull. "Wha...I'm still here? I was sure I'd wake up in a new shell."

Gone........where? Came another confused reply.
"Listen," The night person started."You got to take me with you; I don't like the way those blokes were starin' at me; I'll tell you anything!"

It took all of Emma's willpower to keep her from snapping at the night person, instead directing her nervous energy towards finding Farkson. She called up the tracking spell once more, sending out a tendril of energy to guide her.

Stay, Farskon...Stay with us.
The question was met with a furrowing of brows. Paene looked to Enchantress, then to Imperator, wondering if the night person could be trusted.
"Emma...are you hearing it?"
The paintbrush quavered, swinging more wildly now...but couldn't seem to make up its mind.

Emma nodded. "I hear him."
She was still clinging to the connection.
"I'm working on finding his exact location, the spell is giving me trouble. This world is...odd."
She tried again, reaching out with more power and the tracking spell.

Remus found that he was repaired enough to keep going, though he was going to have to call in a supply drop from the fleet to get himself and his guards back to full working capacity again.
The Imperator got to his feet and brushed himself off. He decided it would be best to let Emma and Scribbler do most of the fighting for now and provide support in other ways.
