The sandstorm pounded against something as the smoke began to clear. Standing in mid air was Zane, atop of a rather unique puppet that resembled a dog. Zane's defensive puppet Rush had been summoned, one that he hadn't summoned since his time as Kazekage. Using the Air riding technique which enabled Rush to hover in the air, Zane rode atop of this puppet in order to remain airborne. Meanwhile, the sandstorm was pounding against Rush's mouth Chakra Shield, shielding Zane from the cutting power of the raging sandstorm. However, the shield was not able to defend him from getting sand all over his body, just diminish his cutting power...so he did have sand on his body. "Lets go Rush!" Zane yelled out to himself, as his puppet was alive and suddenly a great burst of wind exploded from its backside. An explosion of pure wind was released from its tail, sending Rush and Zane piercing through the sandstorm and coming out of the jutsu with few scratches. Looking back once more, Zane realized that they weren't giving chase any longer, so Zane took this oppurtinity to escape.
Mouth Chakra Shield : By opening its mouth, Rush is able to initiate its own chakra shield, which is sufficient against any jutsu up to the rank of a chunnin. Only jounin rank puppets may block jounin rank jutsus while blocking kage rank jutsus is still possible but the shield will break till you repair the puppet. A cool down of two posts is required before this technique can be used again.
Air Riding Feet : By focusing chakra through the chakra strings, Zane is able to have Rush perform the Air Riding technique on all four legs, letting Zane ride upon rush and the four balls of winds. These winds are so powerful and potent that Zane could reach phenomal heights able to soar along with the birds in the skies. During battle the user rises up to 8 meters (24 feet)
Assassin's Rush Tail : By focusing chakra through the strings, Zane is able to have Rush perform an explosive assassin's rush attack coming from the tail.

"Man this is a lot of chaos," Kay said as numerous words floated on by in the Otosan. He didn't need to ask questions, for the things everyone were saying had came together into the entire storyline for him. He would explain to the group, mostly for the sake of Sushi who would be the most interested out of the group. "Seems as though Zane didn't switch tactics very much. According to someone over there," he would gesture with a nod as he casually walked forward, "He came about in some kind of large puppet, and then suddenly was grasped by sand sharks. Some kind of 'red'" he would make air quotes for he doesn't really know what colors looked like, "Shinobi flipped out of it's back. A 'blue' shinobi also appeared, and he kind of did another Zane move and blew up the blue puppet according to that guy." He walked a few more steps, and stopped looking as far out as he could, listening really. "More fighting ensued, nothing out of the ordinary for a battle, the anbu captain using jutsu to attack, Zane evading and defending from the red shinobi, which was clearly a puppet. It ended with a very impressive Kyoubou Suna Arashi which nearly killed him. Another defensive puppet came forward, and Zane himself alive long enough to escape." He had gotten all this info from villagers speaking of it and ninja who were arriving receiving reports from those already here. "Aeden, shall we continue to mist? I say this mission is complete already." he said turning his head in his direction.

Her large white iris' were cold and blank as she watched Zane sail through the air. Her large eyes practically glowed in the burning sunlight, but her face never wavered from the cold mask. Etsushi's eyes fluttered closed as she inhaled the air around her, fresh with the scent of blood. It was arousing, and she licked her lips, unsatisfied with the smell that she could practically taste on her tongue.
Her eyes opened and they landed on Kay, and the feeling of bloodlust swirled down like a drain, draining water. She hummed low in the back of her throat and sat down, crossing her legs and arms and looked up at Kay, "You've grown," she commented starring up at him through her long eyelashes. ✖✖✖✖✖ Chakra: 101/120
Status: Fatigued and injured.
Mood: Determined No pleasure
No expression
Just and illusion of what should have been

Aeden shrugged. "You don't have to if you don't wanna. Just using this as an excuse to go meet up with someone who lives in Kiri." Mion still had a sister, and a father, both of which he planned on visiting as per their arrangement. "Besides, you know women: when they put their mind to it, 'no' isn't an option." Oddly enough, if the roles were reversed, it would be considered sexual harassment. "Gotta make sure the misses doesn't break something important."
He patted Etsushi's shoulder gently, so he didn't hurt her, and lowered his voice so only he and she could hear. He even added chakra to make sure a field surrounded the two so not even Kay would hear it. Chakra control let you do wonderful things indeed. "I know that look you've got. Before we go, let me make this very, very clear: you are Etsushi Motarasu, but you're also Sunagakure shinobi. Very important to Jade. If things get hairy, I want you to get the hell out of there. I'll drag you out kicking and screaming if I have to, but you will not endanger your own life. Got it?" His eyes showed the same kind of determination her's did, and it was true that he was trying his damnedest to hide his own fatigue and injuries, but this was something he felt strongly about.

"Sorry I'm late!" The voice was soft, as if it were coming from directly behind the group. If any of them bothered to turn around, they would see Sora hiding underneath a dark hood with a small red bag strapped along her back. It wasn't that she was afraid of the sun; Sora actually loved being in the sun. But she had another run-in with the crazy lady at the hospital who had, unexpectedly, decided to experimenting with hair dye... The result hadn't come out particularly to Sora's liking at all. Now her once-full-on-lavender hair was streaked sky blue in various different areas. She hated it. She absolutely hated it. "The head nurse said everything will be taken care of upon our return, sir," Sora smiled softly.
Her aquamarine eyes drifted once from Kay to the red-head from the hospital. She really didn't hear her name, but she kept on hearing the other genin call her Sushi-sempai. But even with the childish nickname, the woman looked fierce enough to break Sora apart limb from limb even in her injured state.
Kay didn't want to go? Sora looked slightly puzzled when Aeden addressed the boy. She hadn't heard what he had asked earlier, but it must have been something about not wanting to go to Mist. Who wouldn't want to leave the village? Then the sickening thought occurred to her as she looked around the circle of shinobi once more. Aeden wasn't exactly one hundred percent, neither was the red-head. If Kay left, then the only functional shinobi was herself, and she was decently useless when it came to protection. Hell, she was just a medical shinobi. Even her name reflected the her weakness. And Niigata-sempai had wondered why she preferred to be called Sora...

Tachi frowned behind his mask, watching through the sand as Zane summoned yet another puppet, some sort of flying dog this time, and flew away. There was no way he was going to keep up with that, and his duty was to the gates anyways. But even as the man left the range of his sand sight, he could feel the pull of the tracking sand, and through that, a fair guess to where he was headed.
Turning around, Tachi was about to head into the village to report to a higher authority, when he spied a small group coming out the gate. Were they his backup, arriving late? A slight frown crossed his face once more as he recognized Aeden, the man who had broken his subordinate's arm to sneak into the village, and yet was somehow now one of their highest ranking nin. Pushing that aside however, he approached the man directly.
"Zane Hajime escaped on the back of a flying puppet. His destination appears to be the fire country. Whatever he intends there, my recommendation is to send a team after him." When he had finished speaking, the ANBU simply stood, staring directly at the man.

Her jaw snapped shut when she felt his chakra and immediately went into defense, though probably only Aeden and maybe Kay would have seen it. She relaxed slightly when she heard Aeden's voice in her ear. She didn't reply back, but her eyes flickered upwards toward him, and then back down at the ground. Her lips pursed together.
"Why do you think I brought Kay? For at least, I wouldn't be the one to instigate a fight with him around. Make no mistake, Kay is the only person I care about in this world now, and I will not harm him. But if a Kiri nin attacks, I will not hesitate to draw blood," she hissed, and shoved Aeden's hands off of her shoulders. She stepped towards Sora as the girl arrived and gave a curt nod, establishing with or without his consent, that just because Aeden was the most powerful person of their group, Etsushi was still in charge.
"ANBU," Etsushi snapped, her voice filled with icy venom, "We're already on an important mission from the Kage. We've been delayed enough as it is," she said and stepped out of the gates. The minute her feet hit the hot sand outside of the village outer wall, she dug her heel in the sand and shot off towards the village hidden in the Mist.

"I have? I haven't noticed. Thanks Nee-chan." he replied with a smileWhen Sora arrived, Kay only lightly noted the slight scent of hair dye that was left behind. He was otherwise unaware of any physical changes that had occurred. "Well I was referencing the fact that the Kazekage had said this would be considered an A rank if we could stop Zane, which can't happen, and besides meeting the Mizukage would be beneficial. The REAL Hajime sensei had told me about his part in creating the infinite one swordstyle. Perhaps he would be willing to give me some form of training, or at least permission to learn on my own." He then sow him pat Etsushi's shoulder, and look at her. He could make out that he was speaking to her but had somehow managed to keep Kay from hearing it. His suspicions were furthered by the fact that Etsushi's body language garnered a response coming from her lips. Kay turned a, not much emotion in his face, but his words irritated and suspicious. "Come on Nagamo sensei! I'm already blind! Don't deafen me too... anything you can say to her you can say to me..." he remarked pointing at his eyes.
He turned his body towards Tachi as he spoke, and then heard Etsushi's voice. Tachi seemed to be void of emotion to Kay. HE could find nothing in his voice besides an air of intimidation. "Well, what she means to say is that we are on a mission of somewhat high importance already, perhaps we could look into it on the way back." He looked Back to Aeden, Etsushi nearing the edge of his sight range in her exit, "Gonna go on ahead now. Hope you guys can keep up..." he said as he followed Etsushi, eventually catching up with his newfound speed.[exit]

The girl returned the red-heads nod just before she began her trek through the desert sands. But of course, Sora was not one to be left behind. As soon as the woman began to move, Sora was at her side, moving fluidly alongside her. It was a skill, perhaps. It was easy for Sora to keep pace with the woman, being a speed shinobi and all.

"I truly hate these people..." Tachi muttered to himself as two of the ninja that had come out excused themselves rather rudely, using their mission as an excuse. He knew what their mission was of course, having received a report from one of the ANBU near the kage, but he would have thought that "Stop him at the gates" would have extended to following the man if they knew where he was going. A third had simply walked right by without looking at him, understandable if she was with the first two really, but the man he had actually spoken to completely ignoring him was beyond insulting. Notwithstanding, Tachi's duty was to the gate itself, and he couldn't chase the man down personally, even if he could sense his location for now, through the sand. Turning back towards the gate, Tachi walked back into the shadows, one hand raised to his ear to activate his earpiece as he sent in a report. Even if the team sent out wasn't going to chase Zane down immediately as should have been done, the kazekage would need to know where he had gone.

Sora sighed as she finally arrived at the gates. She was home... finally. But something seemed just a little bit off. As she entered, the ANBU asked to see her identification. Identification? What for? But she showed it anyway before she was finally let through. Heightened security? She could probably get used to this...

Murasaki walked up to the gates, rather annoyed that she might actually be stuck in this forsaken village. She heaved her bag annoyed as she walked over to the gate an hummed, waiting for the gatekeeper to come; after all she didn't particularly belong here. Murasaki yawned and looked around, before leaning against the wall of the crevice and sat down, bored out of her mind.
Tactical/ Speed ninja: -2 posts for learning jutsu (since medical job)
Medical Job: -1 post learning bonus when learning medical jutsus
(So, currently, she has a -4 bonus to medical jutsu, which +1 a post for any other jutsu element.)

No gatekeeper was in site. Murasaki became annoyed, as she gotten up, and started to walk out of Sunagakure. No gatekeeper: easier travel for Murasaki.

A massive wall of natural stone jutting from the desert floor, and a tiny crack the only way in. But this tiny crack was huge in itself. From the ground, one could see the platforms dotting the wall where, in wartime, shinobi would stand. Thousands of them, truly a fearsome thing, if it could be upheld. The information he'd picked up on his way in though, laid question to that. It seemed the village was in a state of unrest, and the shinobi program was beginning to fail, less and less new applicants to the village academy every day. A sad state for any village. But he wasn't here to ponder politics. He was here to find a new, if temporary, home. After a full minute of rolling through the crevice, the wagon finally pulled to a stop at the guard station about halfway through. Probably relocated to escape the sun. As some guards filed out of the guardhouse and began looking over his cargo, one approached the seat with a form for him to sign before granting entrance to the city. Quickly filling it out, he handed it back to the man. Quote: Name: Nomiya Yasashii Rank: None Village: None Equipment: Food and supplies, and lots of sake for trading Reason for visiting: Trade, and potential immigration Taking it, the guard looked it over, nodding as he stuck it to his clipboard. It wasn't that uncommon for a village to take in civilians who needed a home, and it wasn't too uncommon for the civilians to claim they just wanted to try it out, and see if they wanted to stay. Ninja villages weren't always comfortable places for civilians to live. But there was one inconsistency. Pointing his pen at Yasashii's clone, the man frowned. "What about him?""Ah, he's not staying. He escorted me here, but he doesn't want to go inside." Yasashii 'explained'. As a practiced liar, any lie worth telling required a half truth, and it was true that the clone wouldn't be going inside. The only lie really, was that it was another person. "Alright." the guard nodded, satisfied with the answer. "But he has to leave before you can go any further." And with that, the man turned and went back to the guardhouse, along with the ones who had searched the cart. The man passed all checks, nothing on his cart suggested he was anything but what he said, and his chakra level, the sensors claimed, fit his story of being a mere civilian. The other man with him though, they said was incredibly powerful, definitely a ninja, which fit the man's story perfectly. For you see, before arriving, Yasashii had transferred almost all of his chakra to the clone, weakening his signature to civilian levels, and stashed any of his sealing supplies in a seal hidden by his sleeves, on his arm. Once his chakra restored itself he could excuse it as having been the wear and tear of the journey lowering his levels, and come up with a story from there. He'd always been skilled with such subterfuge. It came with the job. But for now, it was time to say goodbye. His clone had it's own path it needed to follow now. The guards were at a distance, but he didn't trust them not to still be listening in, so when he spoke, he did so in his personal language. "Mu nu Joho, irq atnisdotx cuehtadb nxaha. O'dd jaav or zurnizn, sen cue txuedq borq tuwaura nu baaq cue." The clone nodded, grasping Yasashii's hand in farewell before he hopped off the wagon, and began walking away, out of the crevice. He had his orders, and he would follow them to the end. With the clone off the cart, Yasashii took the reins and started it rolling into the village once more.
