Blakely heard Umi’s comment. This wasn’t cool. Sure, many Traceurs fought together for the right cause. In fact, that was what they were supposed to do. Nevertheless, this was not what she wanted. She was not the right cause. She was not the whole purpose of this Traceur thing. He shouldn’t waste his breath on a barely trained, new, barely talented Traceur. She shock off the aggravation and went to trying to kick these guys a**. The faster it was done, the faster they’d take care of Umi. Of course, from her moment of distraction, Blakely barely dodged the next punch that came flying at her and she missed hitting the guy in front of her. “I’ll explain later.” Blakely mumbled to the girl. Well, if she could. Honestly, Blakely was partly in the mood to let herself get captured. That way she would at least be able escape and Umi would be okay. But for now, she had to ignore that thought, and keep attacking the CPFs. This time when she threw a punch at the next guy, she made her mark. Blakely just needed a few pinpoints to knock the guys out or numb their joints. If that could work, this would go a lot faster. She managed to actually dodge the coming punch when the next guy threw one at her. “You know, Daddy won’t appreciate if I’m all bruised up when y’all bring me to him. I’m his ‘baby girl’ and he doesn’t really want to have to baby my bruises away.” Blakely teased, sending the guys guard down. He now was trying to injure her without leaving a mark. Blakely actually laughed aloud. Now, what was that pressure point again?

Umi leaned backwards while Vulcan pushed up against him, spreading his posture, he threw a straight punch into one of the CPF officer's solar plexus, an audible crack resounded after the impact, and the man collapsed to the ground gasping for air. It didn't look he would survive the fight. "Thanks for the assist, old man," Umi joked, turning his position to face another attacker which seemed to have second thoughts on carelessly attacking the two. "Karate? That's a good choice for this fight -- from the looks of it, you've been training," Vulcan commented, "it's not like you to go for kill shots though." "I need to go for sure kills, I don't think my body can last a longer fight, and I really don't want to die here," Umi replied, "besides, it's always fun to use something you hadn't used in a while." "Fair enough, why not use JKD or Muay Thai? It would take the stress off the body." "I can't lift my legs." "Well, that would be a problem," Vulcan sighed, knowing this wouldn't lead anywhere good, "shouldn't you be helping her?" "She'll be fine, biggest step is to fight for yourself," Umi parried a blow from the CPF officers, ripping the stun baton from his hands, "that other runner is pretty good though." "Indeed, now hurry up and finish. We don't want them to call reinforcements." "Actually," Umi challenged, "I don't think that will be a problem. Before I was knocked out, I heard them say they were attacking the CPF HQ. I presume that they were carrying a bomb."
---------
Sophia walked into the elevator, heading to the main level. From the shooting gallery, you could tell that the CPF weren't winning, the fighting was getting closer and closer by the minute. Listening to Asuka's comment, she knew something had to be done, and it needed to be done quickly. "Since the main entrance and the hanger are destroyed, that means only two entrances are left," Sophia devised, she wasn't a tactician, she was head of counter-intelligence and didn't have the skills to fully create a solid defense of the building; nonetheless, she needed to try, "the western exit is on a hill, meaning there are probably snipers monitoring the area. Secondly, the rear exit is small and narrow, meaning that the majority of their forward offense is entering through there."
Their situation was dire, they didn't have any clue what they were up against. Oddly though, it seemed like the attackers were a little too strong, they shouldn't have been able to breach in so quickly. "Team, I need a report on the breach," Sophia commanded through her headset, "how did they break in so easily." "We received word from Forensics fifteen minutes ago," a voice replied, "it seems that there were planted charges all over the building." "Charges?" Sophia wondered how they were planted, "any intruders to take note of?" "From the looks of it, the charges were placed many months ago. This was planned from the get-go." "That means yesterday's attack on the Parliament building was planned too," Sophia scolded herself in the head for missing such a huge error, "I was wondering how the Rangers lost so easily, not to mention that the Ranger's numbers seemed a little thin."
Hessler must have planned it ahead of time, there were way too many Rangers surrendering last night, there should have been more casualties on their end. They planned ahead of time to mobilize the CPF, thin out our numbers before mounting the real attack. "What about the current attackers? How are they breaching so easily?" Sophia asked. "They're highly trained, and they move like runners! When we gather enough men to mount a counter-attack, we can't find them, they disappear like ghosts," the voice replied, "check every corner, shoot every vent, they're coming from every nook and cranny."
In that instant, Sophia knew that they needed to form a line, but where in the building would be the perfect place? She remembered looking over the building schematics a few weeks ago, there was a check-in stop which was perfect since there was only one entrance and exit, meaning they could mount a sort of D-Day like defense line. "Gather all the men and head to the second floor check-in. We'll create a line there. Asuka, come with me, we're heading to the briefing room -- there's a hidden exit we can use to leave the building. These guys are planning to free Hessler."
-----
Rangers Team Two
"Package has been received, now in transit." "Continue to push ahead, spotters head to team three and provide back up." "Sir, team three is now attacking CPF HQ." "Send them anyway, we'll withdraw from here when the CPF think they have control." "Wilco."
-----
Rangers Team Three
The CPF HQ was hit by a large bomb, the entire fortieth to the fiftieth floor was completely demolished. On those floors, the CPF high command was situated. Now the CPF had it's head chopped off, and the ones who could lead were in hiding, escaping from the chaos that was soon to follow.
"All units. Storm the front, take no prisoners." "You heard him men, move out!"
-----
Rangers Team One - Special Ops
"Glad to have you back, General," said the captain of team one. "Ahh, it seems our plans are going without a hitch," Hessler stretched his body, it was stiff from being restrained, "that was a close one last night." "Indeed, sir." "Let us continue then." "Team three finished releasing team four from the detention center ahead of time, their numbers are very thin from last night's battle. What should they do sir?" "Have them clean out the Hessler Complex, we no longer have any need for it. Take any important documents and experimental munitions that will help us over the next few months. Have we prepared a new base of operations?" "It was being prepared since last night, the location is only known by the squad leaders." "Perfect. You've impressed me Captain."

Ahhh! Blakely finally figured out a few pressure points. She quickly jabbed her finger at a spot between the fella’s arm and shoulder blade, instantly making his arm go numb. However, she’d need to knock him out. Blakely quickly grabbed the fella’s gun, using his moment of weakness to her advantage. Then another cop came behind and tried to grab her, she hit him in the head with the gun. It was enough to knock him out. Just one guy left. Blakely turned her gun to face him. “Ready to go guys?” Blakely muttered, taking her safety off the gun. The CPF’s eyes widened. “Now, you’re going to let us pass or I’m going to shoot right between you’re eyes.” Blakely warned, wanting to laugh as the guy backed off. One thing was for sure, he would not shoot. No one would.

Danika heard faintly all that Miss Bard was saying, in the absense of Asuka's voice. So, everything was planned. She didn't know how to react to that. She froze up..
When Carmela noticed that it seemed as if Danika was in shock, she managed easily to take the phone from her, no protest at all. "Whats going on?" She asked Asuka, hoping to recieve an answer soon
Alli took the liberty to make sure the last guy got his concussion as well. As he was backing up, she tripped him, his head hitting the pavement below. "Whoops..." She said almost sarcastically. It was for the best, they didn't want to have the chance of being followed. "So, do I get to hear why they want you so bad or not?" She asked casually, as if the fight hadn't happened. She had a few scratches, and knew she would be bruised up, but nothing too serious. .

Asuka stood still inside the elevator, eyes widening as he listened to the Senator. His mouth was slightly open, an indication of his surprise. Asuka was stunned, unsure of what to say. It was only when he heard Camela's voice did he remembered that he was still holding the phone. Clearing his throat, Asuka decided to speak. "You guys heard that right? Hessler's Ranger Unit has attacked the CPF... And it seemed Hessler had planned this; All of it," Asuka relayed over the phone in a serious voice.
Asuka nodded and brought his right arm across his heart arm, a salute. He was ready to accompany the Ms. Bard. The Senator was the one with commanding authority right now, Asuka had to show his full support. Other issues can be smoothed out later.
Then, remembering that Camela and Danika were still on the line, Asuka motioned the phone to Ms. Bard. "Officer Danika and Camela seem to be within eyesight of the building. I believe they are the only CPF whom are not within the building but close enough to provide assistance. Do you have any orders for them?"

Blakely could not help but smile as Allie tripped the last guy. “Nice.” She muttered, walking over to Umi. “Basically my Dad’s a big time governor in some city back west. My Mom is the city’s sectary. Plus my brother is one of the people in charge of the CPF there. So, basically my Daddy wants me back and is offering 10k to get me home.” Blakely said, sighing to finish it all off. She was so sick of this money thing. People were so money grubbing. Hopefully these Traceurs weren’t to. “Okay, let’s get Umi home. He needs to get stitched up.” Blakely said to Vulcan. She cared a lot more about fixing this guy up then her own safety. If giving herself up meant helping this guy, she’d do it. She wasn’t sure why exactly, but she would. ‘I need to figure out where to run next.’ Blakely thought bitterly. She was so ready to actually buy a home by now.

"Tell them to survey the area for hostiles, if we're caught coming out of the building, then we're mince-meat from any snipers," Sophia replied to Asuka's comment, "knowing Hessler, he probably will." Sophia collected herself, as the elevator opened up, leaning around the side of the entrance to ensure that she wasn't a beehive as she left. "We'll meet up about a block south of this building, if I'm correct, we will be able to intercept Hessler's transport before they leave the central district." She hoped she was correct, if they applied pressure to Hessler directly, the CPF forces may be able to reorganize while the Rangers fortified their transport.
----
Umi let out all the oxygen in his lungs, feeling relief that there were no more combatants. His muscles were burning from all the stress, and he had lost too much blood to even think of what he was currently doing. "You pass..." Umi mumbled, passing out from the lack of energy in his body. Vulcan immediately grasped his body, trying to hold him up straight, "I knew he'd keel over sooner or later." Bringing Umi's arm over his shoulder, he continued forward, down the large staircase which lead out of the building mezzanine. "Hurry up now, we need to get this guy patched up," Vulcan joked, "oh, and I think I've decided what to have for dinner."

Asuka nodded briefly before relaying the order to Camela. "Hey Camela, you still there?" Before waiting for a reply, Asuka continued.
"Ms. Bard wants you and Danika to secure the area outside. Clear it of any snipers and those that can get potshots on us as we try to leave the building. Once we leave the building, we are going to try and re-apprehend Mr. Hessler one black south, hopefully drawing the Ranger's attention away from the HQ. Once this is done, the CPF might be able to reorganize themselves to launch a counter-attack."
Once the elevator door opened, Asuka closed his phone, and readied his rifle. Then the thought occurred to him; He was indoors. The usage of his rifle would be severely limited. Shrugging, Asuka decided he would have to use the rifle in a very unorthodox manner. Caustiously, Asuka stepped out of the elevator, ready to dive into cover at the first sign of an enemy.

Blakely watched as Umi passes out. “Idiot” Blakely mumbled and followed Vulcan. “You need any help?” Blakely asked, but it seemed he slightly had it covered. “Oh snap! I was going to pick up supplies and make something for dinner. I guess shopping is out. What’s your idea?” Blakely chattered, keeping up with Vulcan’s pace. She then quickly put Umi’s arm over her other shoulder. It only slowed their pace down for a moment, but soon they were walking faster than before. They would be back in no time. Which was a great thing, Umi’s bandages weren’t as tight as before, and he was losing blood.

Danika managed to snap out of it long enough to hear 'Mr.Hessler'. "They got my father?" She said, processing the information. Doing the first thing that came to mind, she searched for the closest sniper she could find. After locating said sniper, she took her phone back from Carmela and her way discreetly over behind him. "Listen, " She said into the phone. "I'm going to see what they have planned, but I'm going to put my end on mute..so they can't hear you." She said, not wating for an answer, knowing that Carmela had followed her. ..
Carmela was stunned as to what Danika was trying to do. She pulled out her phone and dialed Danika, making a three-way call. "Are you insane?" Then she realized that if anyone had a chance to find out what was going on, it was Danika. She was Hessler's daughter, they might think she was on their side. If not, she could always take over shooting, at the moment, while listening to Danika's madness, she searched around visually for more snipers. "Okay, Asuka, I have a few snipers spotted, but should we see if Danika can get some information from them?" She asked, knowing her question would be relayed to Senator Bard.
Alli noted that they were heading off, keeping in mind the girl's explanation. "All dad's have to let their little girls grow up sometime.." She said, knowing full well that her dad had a hard time facing what she had become. One of the main reasons he left with her mother when he could. She shrugged, deciding not to stay in the open longer than necessary. She opened up a manhole cover and slipped underground. .

"It won't work Danika, knowing Hessler, these guys probably Only know what they were assigned to do," Sophia spoke through the microphone, trying to persuade Danika to avoid trying something so foolish. "I know you're shocked, but you need to snap out of it," Sophia expressed, "it will not help if you get killed in the process. Shoot on sight, they would probably do the same to you." Hessler was a careful man, she was betting that the majority of the men working for him would never see their HQ for the duration of service. Entering the chaos, Sophia pulled out her service pistol, stepping slowly into the hall hugging the wall. The hallway was too quiet, and she felt like she was being watched.
—
Vulcan arrived at the intersection adjacent to Umi's apartment. Immediately gaining the attention of the locals in this area. "Umi!" a nearby patron shouted, leaving the confines of a small deli, "what happened?!" "He took a big fall, and then we ran into some trouble with the CPF," Vulcan replied. "Guys! A Umi's hurt," the man waved over to bystanders watching through the windows, "don't worry, I'm a doctor, you two take a break, I'll handle it from here."
Four men rushed out with a stretcher and some water, and carried Umi into his apartment building. You could hear the surprise of the bystanders, while the doctor attempted to clean his wounds. "I'm impressed to find such kindness in the city," Vulcan commented, "how about we go to the market to get some dinner supplies Blakely? Take our minds off of what happened today."

Blakely watched as Umi was helped, smiling at the occurrences. “Hold that thought.” Blakely said and walked to the bedroom. She grabbed some white shorts from her bag and a black hoodie. She also pulled her hair down, since it was up earlier. Finally, she did her makeup thick in order to hide her features. “Uhh, this will work, for now anyway.” Blakely said and walked out of the room. “Okay, let’s go.” Blakely said, barely paying attention. Instead, she was looking at Umi. ‘I hope he’s okay.’ Blakely thought, while observing his injuries. He was pretty screwed and she did not like it. Honestly, she wanted to stay there and watch them fix him up, helping when necessary. Nevertheless, she needed to buy some hair dye and stuff (just incase she stayed). She then turned to Vulcan. “Okay, let’s go.” Blakely said and walked towards the door, pausing at the doorway for Vulcan to catch up.

Vulcan watched as Umi was being treated, there was so much blood that it was hard to tell where it was coming from. Noticing Blakely leave the bedroom, he readied his coat to leave the room; she seemed preoccupied with something. Hmm... He quickly followed behind, closing the door behind her, "so, what do you want to eat tonight?" He asked, he had decided that he wanted to make something exotic, but couldn't decide fully.
Leaving the building, he headed in the direction of the nearby grocery store. It was one of the few stores still owned by a small party, and he preferred having all his groceries locally grown -- although, it was very rare to find non-processed ingredients nowadays.

Danika sighed, pulling out her weapon and disposing of the man instead of interrogating him. She took cover and destroyed his radio. 'The things your family puts you through..' She thought sarcastically. "Don't worry, I won't interrogate anyone.." She said into the phone, hearing Carmela's sigh of relief. ..
Carmela finished sighing before pulling out her firearm. It was a bit off when shot from a far enough distance, so she snuck around the surrounding area, finding another sniper to dispose of and commandeer a weapon from. Once she was in place, she realized her and Danika had a good visual of the exit where Asuka and Senator Bard would be trying to leave from. "Okay, we see your intended exit, but still need to clear the way."
Alli continued through the aquaducts until she came to her destination. It was an old abandoned bomb shelter from the cold war scare. It was perfect for her hide out, and even better during the recent riots. .
