 Tyler Del Mauro
Tyler walked over to Sky and sighed softly. "Sorry, you really must hate me for all the times I disappear on you, I feel like superman at this point running off to fix problems while here I'm Clark Kent." He laughed nervously and sighed again as he hugged her. "I saw you with the other boy, I'm not mad, I'm glad you got to enjoy yourself for a bit without me ruining your night." He told her with a smile as he took her hands in his, another slow song was starting up. "Care to dance with me?" He asked softly a pleading look to his eyes.

 ╪ ║ §chuyler ßarron ║ ╪ Don't judge....Schuyler hadn't expected Tyler to come up to her and talk to her either. Sometimes human reactions confused her....once she thought she figured them out, they did something to throw her off.
"I don't mind...you feel obligated to help out your friends and I understand that. He was just making sure I didn't leave too early or something along those lines at least..." Schuyler explained, her eyes still scanning for the room, looking for Jeremy. She didn't like hurting people and seeing her with Tyler might do that to him.
"And I did enjoy it....there wasn't any complications that came along with the dance. It was just a dance and it was pleasant actually." Schuyler vouched for him.
Schuyler contemplated whether or not she should dance with Tyler. She'd just danced with a different boy....a boy who promised to return soon and she wondered then about Beck and where she must have run off to since Tyler had come back and all that.
"I thought you were trying to fix something." She said simply.

Tyler looked at Sky and wondered why she wasn't more happy that he wanted to dance with her openly, she was a puzzle to him. Could she have liked the other boy now, had his actions made her look away from the man who loved her. "Well that and I wanted her to join us for a bit, I mean we came together I just figured we would all hang out together as well." He offered straight faced which was the truth in the matter. "Yeah I know... nothing to hide because of the boy you are with." He said what she was trying to say.
"I talked to her, found her in the women's room, something was up... something different than what I expected. I know she was upset but something more is there, I can't tell what it is and she doesn't want me to know yet. She needs her privacy and time to herself but I'll probably talk to her again about it really late tonight or tomorrow morning." He sighed softly and looked at her with a smile. "She's like my sister Sky, we know when the other one wants something or needs something. Now are we going to dance or do you just want me to leave for night so you can have your new boy?" The first part was serious the second part was downright silly.

╪ ║ §chuyler ßarron ║ ╪ Don't judge...."Yes, I didn't mind the idea of us all hanging out together...but I'm getting very tired of having to sneak around so much so we can have time together. It's hard on you, I know...Beck being the way she is and me...not...being that way," Schuyler started. "And as much as I want to be with you....it's hard and I can't help but feel wrong doing it." This issue had been bugging Sky for awhile now. She just felt so inadequate around him.
"I've completely fallen for you Tyler Del Mauro...but I know I can't have you. Just saying that makes me want to sulk all the way home and cry my eyes out but I know it's the truth, and the truth hurts." There wasn't much to it...that was that.
"I would love to dance with you...but I don't know what the consequences will be..."

Tyler looked at her and listened to what she had to say fully not waning her to think he was missing anything she had to say. He knew she was haing problems with the sneaking around and he idn't blame her it wa spainful for all of them. Him and Beck, she and Sky it was a rough process on anyone invovled."Sky there is nothing wrong with us being together, its just something that people have to deal with now."
He stopped speaking when she said how she felt about him. His face was beat red and his eyes had water forming in them. She was in worse pain than he thought as he looked at her and sighed mentally. "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference." He thought to himself as he took her out to the dance floor. "Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible." He spoke to her with confidence. "You had the courage to stand up and say that to me. I can show you the same by standing up with you telling my friends I love you, Schuyler Barron without fear, secrets or worry. You could always have me, I just came with more baggage than the other boys." He laughed a bit and kissed her softly on the lips as he put his hand on her side and his other hand in the air.
He wanted her to make the decision to join him, he didn't want her to force her as he did to get her out on the dance floor. He was meeting her half metaphorically and he was hoping she'd do the same.

╪ ║ §chuyler ßarron ║ ╪ Don't judge....Schuyler didn't want to hurt anyone, that was the last thing she wanted to do actually. The reason she moved to different towns was to make things better there...not worse. She seemed to be doing the opposite of what her original intentions were and that crushed her. If she wasn't so involved with Tyler, maybe she'd be doing Canterbury a favor...but she couldn't help what her heart yearned for.
"But there is something wrong with us being together...it's...not natural..." Schuyler hadn't meant to say that bit but it slipped out. It was a big secret of hers, the fact that she wasn't completely human.... no one had ever found that out about her yet in her years of life.
"And I do not want you to do something you will regret later Tyler...telling your friends how you feel about me will only make things harder on you. That's something I couldn't live with..." Schuyler tilted her head back sightly, feeling the tears brimming to her eyes.
Schuyler slid her hand in Tyler's and her other hand went to lightly lay on his shoulder, all she wanted was one last dance.

Tyler looke into her eyes and saw that she was hurt. He smiled and kissed her forehead softly and shook his head. "Natural is a word people use for something they try to define, love is something that isn't natural. People love who they want love, simple as that. Zeus loved mortal women, and mortal men loved the goddesses of Olypmus." He laughed poking fun at their outfits using his metaphor.
"I have four regrets in my life, that I wasn't the man who can be there for his friends all the time they need him. I regret that I'm human and I can only do so much in a day for my fragile life, my third is that I couldn't do more for Beck in her darkest hours when she was losing her mother, and for not beating the men who harass Sven, Beck and Athy for their openess of love and for Amanda's outfits and the perverted men who bother her. I don't want you to be one of my regrets because I let myself doubt about what happens and preventing me from loving and living my short fragile life to the fullest it can be." He smiled weakly as tears escaped his eyes.
"Love is nothing to regret, if you are willing to go the distance with me, then we'll have nothing to regret. No matter the outcome." He whispered to her as they started to slow dance together.

╪ ║ §chuyler ßarron ║ ╪ Don't judge....Schuyler couldn't help but offer up a little smile with his reference to their costumes at the time. He could be very clever...it was amusing to her as well. There wasn't many things that didn't amuse her in the first place. Schuyler listened to Tyler's list of regrets and her heart panged painfully with each story he relayed to her. She felt awful for all the things he regretted in his life and they weren't even his fault either. It wasn't his fault he was human.
Then Tyler did something Schuyler never thought he was capable of. She saw the tears that fell from his eyes and her heart contracted painfully, more so than she'd ever felt before. She quickly reached up and wiped away the moisture that had formed around his eyes and stood up taller to kiss him softly on his lips.
"Please don't cry Tyler....I'll always be there by your side. I promise I'll never leave you." Schuyler vowed, her voice cracked as she watched him display his emotions. She felt her throat constrict with her words, speaking became difficult.
Schuyler moved with Tyler's steps, they danced slowly with each other. Her head rested against his chest.

Tyler looked her in the eyes as he stopped crying for a moment. He didn't realize he was crying until she started to wipe the tears from his eyes. The boy rarely cried and realized what she must have seen worrying about him as he started crying. All of his regrets and worrying about Sky forced him to cry in public. "Okay Sky... I won't cry. I won't leave you either because you have my heart Schuyler Barron, I've fallen for you hard and fast." He smiled weakly as he held her a bit as she started to rest against his chest. He couldn't help but smile, they were both finally getting what they wanted. Hopefully he would be making her happy, and back to the loving person she wanted to be with him. He loved her so much and hoped they'd go back to a week ago and get back that moment together again. His head rested softly next to her head so they were so close as they danced together. He actually wasn't bad, he didn't mess up as they danced together slowly.

╪ ║ §chuyler ßarron ║ ╪ Don't judge....Schuyler moved along with Tyler as they danced slowly...slower than everyone else did. It was as if they were in their own world, dancing together around others who were merely backdrops to their story. Schuyler had seen people cry before but when Tyler had, it hurt her more than anything she'd ever felt before. She liked being close to him and was relieved when he reacted to her; their heads close together, all else meaningless for the moment.
"I have your heart, and you have mine....I believe we've just defined love." Schuyler smiled against him. She, again, felt so secure just being around him that it startled her. She never felt so safe with a mortal before. They were such fragile creatures, so easily manipulated and broken. It was almost a crime.
"I'm sorry...about you crying." Schuyler pulled away a fraction to get a look at his face....just to make sure he wasn't crying again. She didn't think she could stand it a second time, not without crying herself. "I wish I could take your regret away...if I could do that, then I'd be happy." Schuyler placed her hand against his cheek and bit her lower lip in thought.

Tyler smiled as they were lost in their own little world, it was peaceful it was wonderful it was magical. All he needed and wanted was Schuyler in that moment and he had her all to himself. He never felt so strong than when she was in his arms. "Yeah, love two hearts bound together by the willingness to stay close when everything says go apart." He smirked playfully and kissed her lips again softly as he held her in the slow dance.
"It is okay love, you didn't do anything wrong." He replied showing her he had not cried a single bit since then as he held a warm smile on his face. "Regret is a part of life. Lets you know you are alive, and wanting to be better than you were the day before." He told her sweetly as he looked down into her eyes a warm smile on his face.

╪ ║ §chuyler ßarron ║ ╪ Don't judge....Schuyler relished the feeling of his lips against hers. It felt completely right to her, no one had ever made her heart beat so quickly in such a short amount of time and almost without any effort at all. When he broke away however, Schuyler couldn't help but smile at him and kiss his lips again.
"I don't recall ever saying I was finished yet...you've been holding out on me Tyler. We haven't been together like this in awhile." Her smile was kind and warm, nothing negative burdened her mind.
"Perhaps I can take away your regret...." Schuyler mentioned softly, not knowing what good her powers were or how much they could affect someone.

Tyler smiled as he felt her want to kiss him again. He loved her kisses, he loved being like this with her as he smiled contently and brightly. She made him feel like he was on top of the world and nothing could change that.
"Heh, right we haven't, but then again I didn't want to take advantage of my sick patient in the hospital, Doctor Del Mauro did it once and wanted to want for a full recovery." He winked playfully and grinned with a warm sweet smile as he looked into her eyes.
"If you want to try you can my love, I think it makes me better to have had them at some point to strength myself to be better later on like I am now with you." He smirked a bit and kissed her tenderly on the lips as the slow song ended.

╪ ║ §chuyler ßarron ║ ╪ Don't judge...."Well no one exactly said you had to 'take advantage' of me. You COULD have just been all innocent and act like a nice boy...but then again, that might be out of your talents." Schuyler grinned widely, poking him square in the chest.
She could hear the outro to the song and looked around for a dazed moment. She hadn't expected it to end so soon, it seemed like it was only a second ago they took to the dance floor. Schuyler twined her arms around Tyler's neck and hugged him tightly, her dress rucking up around the top part of her legs as she did so. Why was he so much taller than she was.
"Thank you for dancing with this two left-footed one."

Tyler smiled at her happily and nodded. "Yeah, yeah yeah, I would have stopped if you hadn't liked it." He winked playfully at her mock innocence. "Thanks you danced divinely I had the two left feet." He smiled and kissed her lips softly as he held her in his arms picking her up ever so slightly so she was level with him, when another slow song played, someone requested it for their girlfriend. "One more? Then we can take a break, get somewhere alone for a bit?" He asked playfully as he let her back down to the ground.
