Sakura sat down in a near desk, "I'm sorry I'm late...." She had heard what Kyoku had said and pretended to laugh with her kimono sleeve over her hand.

Mitsuki found an empty seat and watched the other girls. She tried to imitate what they were doing while talking notes.

((there will be some new lessons this time around, but im still recycling some of the old ones)) Kyoku walks toward the front of the room and sits down on the raised dais.
"Welcome everyone, the the first class of grace and manners. Please every sit down." As she waits for everyone to sit down she pulls a fan out of her nave obi and opens it slowly. "Now to begin with here are the rules. Please do not talk to one another unless it is an exercise, or i give you time for open discussion. In an open discussion, i will let you answer each others questions and will correct as needed. This is a manners class so i expect the best behavior you can manage. Please keep your appearance decent, and be on time for class. These rules will be enforced." Kyoku snapped fan shut in her palm for emphasis. "Besides that there really shouldnt be a problem." Smiling at the young girls, she opened her fan again to use it.
"I would like to begin by assessing your skills with basic speech. Let us pretend that i am Mr. Ichiro, a patron of your older sisters perhaps. Now since you are a mere novice, conversation is not expected yet, but you must still be very polite when you do speak, he is paying for your time after all. So i am Mr. Ichiro, and you have walked into the room where i am awaiting geisha. What do you say to me? Each of you go ahead and demonstrate."

Kinoka sat queitly in the class, observing what the other students were doing in mannors and in speech, and what the teacher said for each to do. It was alot for her to take in, consitering this was her first class, and she quickly felt her fingers start to fumble with her mat as she sat there and waited for her turn to go up there.

Looking around the room, Kinoka saw another girl fumbling with her kimono too. A small smile lite her cheeks as she looked over quick at her. 'Well at least I'm not the only one who's nerves..' she though to herself as she then let her shoulders relax a slit amount as she whispered, "Relax everythings going to be fine... I'm kinoka." she said hoping the teacher wouldn't hear.

Keimei was sitting straight and properly. She had just become a Maiko afterall. She wondered if she should go first, and decided not to. All she knew was that Maiko needed to remain calm most of the time, while adding a slight giddyness to the atmosphere.
