Ripps' little soul beast watched as the two talked, but had to move when it heard a teacher's footsteps. Startled, it scrambled across the floor in front of the two.

The small animal stopped and let out a scream as it put out its ignited tail. It took on a new form as it got larger --that of a black wolf-- and growled as it lunged at the boy.

His sword appeared and he slashed the beast in half.

The sword passed through the wolf, but it simply melted into a black shapless mold and slipped back into one of the floor airducts.

"Bardookvon" A fire went into the venta dn started to flow through it. It burnt through the entire system before disapaiting. There's no way he could have missed.
