Landon Joshua Kaiser ****************************************
Landon thought again about his previous internal question. And realized the real one he should be asking, wasn't if he could, but did he want to? And the answer was, he didn't.
Shouldn't that say everything?
But there was still Katy.. Landon couldn't have both of them. And maybe Kaitlyn like being reunited with James...
So...
He now had a thought forming in the back of his head, one he wouldn't even let himself become fully aware of, wouldn't say it even in his mind. But maybe, he already knew what he was going to do.
Landon was swiftly brought back to the present with those three words, whispered so softly, but leaving no doubt.
A few seconds of silnce before Landon finally made his mind up about something at least.
"I love you too" he kissed her cheek and then jumped up suddenly. He was careful that Steph wouldn't fall, but he was on his feet immediately.
"We need to have fun. Let's... lets get dressed and go... do something! This is supposed to be a vacation resort with lots of things to do!" he announced, grinning.****************************************    As soon as forever is through

Stephanie smiled as he kissed her cheek, returning those words.
She felt her heart race again, and her cheeks flush red. Her nose had just nuzzled into his skin and her eyes closed as she rested.
But he jumped up, holding onto her still but he was upright. She squealed, something near a scream as she wrapped her arms around him.
"What the hell?" But, see, the thing was -- she was still smiling like a fool. Her blue eyes shining.
"Fun? Dressed?" Alright. So the plan was to live in the here and now right? So gettng up and going and having fun, sounded pretty damned good.
"Alright," She looked over her shoulder. "But first you have to put me down."
Her eyes wandered back to him. "And you kinda promised you weren't going to let me go... sooooo... getting dressed should be fun."
Stephanie broke out in a smirk as she pecked her lips to his.
Silly Stephie had returned.
God, how she missed her.

Stephanie yelled at him, but was still smiling, and so was Landon. Yeah, they definitely needed some fun! And it seemed like she thought so too.
He laughed, and set her down on her feet when he had still been holding her so tightly against him that her feet didn't touch the ground at first. He still had his arms circled a bit more loosely around her though.
When she finished speaking though, Landon froze, still smiling though, but you could see the difference.
God, he didn't want this kind of awkwardness! But... Ok, one, she kissed his lips, even if it was only a little peck... it made him want so much more.
Of course, he couldn't really say anything when he had been giving her little kisses too. The hair, the cheek, the forehead, it didn't really justify it...
But it was more of the fact that she was saying they would be getting dressed, right by each other... still touching... In fact, the most convenient way to do that would be to dress each other....
It wasn't like he hadn't seen her completely naked, duh. But it was wrong. Maybe it didn't feel wrong, but it was!
But he didn't want to ruin the mood! Especially seeing Stephanie so happy compared to earlier.
So after some hesitation, he nodded, "Sounds difficult" he said, sticking his tongue out, but also started to move them over to their suitcases.
Ugh. This was aaaall wrong anyway. Made just saying ******** it, and forgetting about what he shouldn't do, all the more tempting, but.... **************************************** As soon as forever is through

Stephanie's feet hung just above the ground when her lips left his. Then she stood, still tightly against him.
But she felt the awkward air surrond them again, the tension defening. She bit her lip, mumbled a quick sorry and blushed again.
Then she sighed softly, stepping backwards as he moved them torwards the suitcases.
Actually, most of her clothes were beneath their feet. Not that she cared really. Wasn't lie she had to iron them, because she didn't mind wrinkles.
Then he stuck his tongue out and she smiled again. "Might be," But the same thought had crossed her mind.
"Be easier if you helped me, and I helped you." She winked.
Yeah, Stephanie wasn't going to let the worries of the outside world bother her right now.
Whatever time that she had left with alone time with Landon, she was going to live it up.
And dammit, she was going to live it up, fully.
"Ya know, just saying." She looked away from him, at the floor. "Where we headed? So we know how to dress,"
Her arms still hooked behind his neck when she turned, her eyes caught his, and she felt like they had traveled back in time six years.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. Oh god. How long? How long had he had Kaitlyn? So... too long. He never should have left her. And this, he had wanted her back so bad.
Things just weren't right with him and Stephanie... but him and Kaitlyn... that was different.
And this. This was amazing. This is what he had wanted.
James moved his body hard against hers, occassionally dipping his head in to move his mouth and tongue on her skin, wanting to taste her too, as if just sex wasn't enough for him. He wanted all of her.
And now he had no doubt that he wanted more then just this. Of cours, he was also amidst intense sex as these partially formed thoughts flitted through his head. But he wanted her back. This wasn't just rebound sex!
At least, he didn't want that to be all.
Sometime later, he didn't know how long, probably a little less then an hour, since the guy hadn't come back, they were lying snuggled together on the couch.
James had his arm under her head, and his hand on her hip as they were turned to face each other, and were very close, since the couch wasn't very wide.
He kissed her chin and her lips, breathing deeply.
"I love you Katy. I don't want to be without you again" he whispered, keeping his face close to hers as he closed his eyes lightly, planting another kiss on her plump lips.
This familiar body lying next to his, her breath, her hair, her lips...
Why had he ever chosen to be without them?
Not too mention how well they worked together. Or her laugh. Her smile. The light in her eyes.
Stupid. ..And even when your hope is gone

Yeah see, that's what Landon was afraid of. You just don't undress and dress your ex girlfriend, especially when you have a girlfriend. You just don't do that!
"Oh, hmm... I'm not sure, what do you wanna do?" Yeah, he hadn't really thought that far.
He trailed off a little at the end there though, as their eyes locked on the others. He found himself smiling even more then before, and it just felt so good.
Anything they did together would be fun. Just like it always had been, when all the needed was each other. What did he need now? You would think the answer would be obvious, but his thoughts didn't even go that way.
No, Landon found himself only thinking of Stephanie more and more.
And that was when he couldn't take all of this indecision anymore.
He looked down, thoughtful for a moment, then back up at Stephanie, looking a little more serious now.
"Ok... I know we were saying we were going to live in the here and now... but, I've made up my mind."
He dropped his arms from around her, but didn't move back.
"I'm not... I can't do anything with you while I'm still with Katy... and... that definitely includes undressing you."
Now see, up to that point, it sounded pretty bad right? But he wasn't done yet, not by any means.
"But I've realized, when I think I already knew... That I can't let this chance go. I want to be with you. I can't go back to how things were knowing I could have you. Steph, when this is over, I'm... I'm gonna break up with Katy."**************************************** As soon as forever is through

Stephanie was thinking in the moment that he intruppted her thoughts.
She looked up at him, her stomach constricting nervously. His eyes were serious and she was afraid of what was next.
He had made up his mind and then his arms moved off of her. She shrunk then, her body slumping over slightly, even though he didn't move away from her.
And his next sentence was tearing into her skin, through her chest and right into her heart. As if it hadn't hurt enough, hearing him say that was pretty much getting to her.
Well. That was Landon right? The Landon she had fallen in love with. "I understand." She turned to grab some clothes when he spoke again.
Slowly, she turned back around to come back to look up at him.
Stephanie felt her breathing hitch. "I don't want you to." What? "I mean. I want you to. But Landon. You can see Hayley, I'll make it as painless as possible and everything. You can stay with Kaitlyn. I don't want you making rash decisons just because you've spent like, an hour with me like this."
That was the second hardest thing she had ever had to say in her entire life.

Landon had expected that, based on how she had responded to him before. Although, the look on her face before he had finished had just about tore him apart. Maybe he should have said the second part first...
But anyway.
He shook his head firmly.
"Stephanie, it's not just about Hayley. I already think about you so much... even before all of this... like... last night... before I even knew you were here, even a month or two since I'd seen you last. I found myself thinking about you at random moments when Kaitlyn should have been the only one on my mind, and even worse... I... we" ok he was just gonna say it, he bet Stephanie and James had too around the time they got here.
"We had sex last night, and it wasn't like I didn't know who it was! I had a nice night with her! Romantic, everything, and then, and then when we were done and I was laying there, I opened my eyes and looked over at her, and it... it was like I expected you to be there. That's horrible!" he bit his lip.
"And we will be seeing each other on a regular basis because of Hayley too... and things like this, it's just going to be the same, or worse, like it's been getting. That's not fair to her, and all that aside! Until just a little while ago, I thought you were happy with James and didn't even want me anymore, and I still had those thoughts!" he was looking away now, surprised at how much he was saying, letting all of this out. Well, she had, looks like it was his turn now.
"I'm happy with her... but... somethings just missing, the click, this connection. More and more often, when I'm with her, I'm thinking of you. And... I don't want to wake up with her in my arms, wishing it was you..."**************************************** As soon as forever is through

Stephanie looked up at him and bit her bottom lip as he started talking again.
When they..?
She opened her mouth to talk but then he was talking again and she felt her throat go dry. "You... you... thought that I was going to be there?" She understood. She did.
But it was just weird. She hadn't expected him to say that. She sighed softly, moving backwards to sit back on the bed. She crossed her arms and looked up at him. "I haven't been happy with James for the longest time Landon. Sure, I mean. We played it off as that. But James has never been you. He can't even come close."
She sighed. She had always wanted Landon. There was no ifs, ands or buts. She had never gotten over him. And never would.
Stephanie felt tears in her eyes as he finished. She stood up silently and moved back to him, holding his hands softly in hers.
"I don't even know what to say." She muttered softly.

||heh, you have to think about it though, i mean, he already said he wouldn't do anything with steph, and that's even while he is thinking about breaking up with Kaitlyn... and Kaitlyn hadn't even decided anything like that when she had "amazing" sex with james...||
