"Well, if you get me out of the cell, I suppose I can," Sai replied laconically. "That took a bit out of me though."

"Granted," Camille immediately said, armor of light appearing on her. "CL, get GN-"
"Already there," CL_Triton declared as he, Rose, and the captain stood.
"Tell the guards not to-" Rose began.
"Not to bother the Lucifex. I know. Nobody here is equipped to fight it," CL_Triton agreed. "It's not Cyrus, though. I'm wired to the cameras. It's Maratriel."

As Akai Ryu learned, there is no good way to react to a giant, crablike robot with a giant claw and weapons all over entering as a wall slides open. The cyNet3 mech took up about half of the width of the room - and the room was several meters wide.
"EXTERMINATE!" GN_Triton roared for flavor as he began to unload with several machine guns at one of the cultists.

"Whoo! Yes'm!" Ty threw a salute and darted back through the building to the site of the fighting. His claws slipped onto his hands almost as though they had moved by themselves as he reached Cassandra. His momentum didn't slow in the least - in fact, he put on an extra burst of speed and tackled the remaining third of the issue at hand, claws out and grinning.

Isaac, upon seeing Triton enter, rolled away from the line of fire. He doubled the roll to make it to the door, opening the cell for Sai. At least he could do something useful.

Cassandra, already aware of the man's Chameleonic, anticipated the attack; as she fell over to avoid it, she mustered the best of her meagre magical skill and launched an explosive fireball straight over her - hopefully into the crotch of her attacker.
The robot posed a whole new problem. cyNet constructs were supposed to be freakishly accurate. Cassandra hoped that they were.

Ty brought down the red-clad cultist as he attempted to defend his "vital regions" from Cassandra. Isaac rolled, coincidentally, into the feet of the attacker, flipping him over; Sai stepped out of the door as Ty flipped his opponent over and retook a controlling position.
And then the still-standing cultist dissolved into a red mist as four cyNet3 gun turrets unloaded mercilessly on him.

Isaac stood and began to murder the floored cultist with his silver sword. Lots of chopping and stabbing.

As Ty landed, he straddled his victim, keeping his weight on one hand on the man's chest, shouted, and perforated the enemy's neck with the claws on his other hand. Finding resistance from the scarf, he immediately switched targets to the eyes, making an unpleasant picture of the man's face.

The man screamed as Ty's Claws penetrated his eyes.
"Enough!" Sai yelled, physically pulling Ty off of the screaming cultist. "He doesn't need eyes to answer questions, but if you go any farther, there'll be problems. Ah, well now. Nice of you to join us." Camille, Rose, and CL_Triton stepped into the room, powering down the various forms of magic they'd had.
"Excellent, you took him alive. Rose, ready a cell for-" Camille began.
"Captain Erikson, this was an attempt on my life. The assassin is mine," Sai interrupted, pointing at himself for emphasis.
"We're in the embassy and that's Coven territor- How did you get your shackles off!? And how'd you get out of your cell!?"
"Broke 'em around the neck of the one in the cell. REF came near the cell, let me out so I could help 'em," Sai replied. "Now, back to the subject of the other prisoner you're not keeping, this is an assassination attempt against a foreign dignitary on Coven soil, and there are very specific protocols called Dremmeur Sai gets what he wants."

Isaac was about to speak to the Captain and Engineer, but then they asked about how Sai got out of his cell, and Isaac realized that it would be a very good time to shut his mouth and pretend to be a part of the wall.
He was, however, extremely interested to see how this thing with Sai played out.

"Captain," the Triton bots chimed in simultaneously, "Tyrg has accepted the offer."
"The offer?" Sai asked.
"Complete control of a leyline in return for knowledge of the last sighting of the ship that attacked us and who was in control of it," the Triton mechs explained. "They've turned over control of the Australian Crescent."
"Oy, that be our line! What's this bullshit?" Sai demanded.
"Suggested offer: Ownership of the prisoner and control of the Australian Crescent be sacrificed to the Outlanders in return for the Seine-Alps line, to simultaneously resolve our present problems and undermine the Tyrgani attempts at seeding strife between our factions."
"That... aye, that'd be acceptable," Sai responded with a nod.
"I... need to talk to my superiors," Camille declared, flustered, turning and walking out.

Well, this was different. She wasn't dead, and the man was ******** up as hell - the lack of eyes would probably haunt her a while - but Sai was alive, and nobody else had gotten hurt. And now they were just exchanging leylines casually. It was a good thing, though.
"Kinda lousy assassins, huh?" Cassandra suggested. "And, uh, what happened to the Lucifex?" Lousy assassins indeed - she'd been able to contribute more than just her vision to the fighting, as she'd distracted him at the very least. That officially put them on the 'lame' side of the scale.

"They were unprepared and the Lucifex tipped you guys off," Sai explained.
"They probably intended to just gas his cell," Tritons chimed in helpfully.
Camille came back in. "The General approves," she spat.
"My eyes..." the cultist whimpered.
"Shut your b***h mouth!" Sai snapped, cracking the cultist's ribs with a casual kick. "Anyway, that trade is acceptable, and... well, we all know I have the authority to make the trade. Take me into the nearest city and I'll send the orders out. Make sure he doesn't get away." He walked out of the prison area, leaving the stunned Coven forces behind him.

Isaac, trying to not stick out badly to the Coven commanders, grabbed the assassin and threw him into the cell. As Isaac walked away, the cell door closed tight.
At that point, Isaac decided that he would stick with Sai for a little. He scampered after him.
