"Yep..Me either..Ok maybe I do but I don't want to ruin the moment they are having now.." Misa said carfully so he won't make Kai mad. "Cute dragon. Can I pet?" Misa looked at Kei. It had beautiful eyes. The eyes were kinda making here drozy but she kept control of staying awake. She blinked and then looked at Kai for an answer.

Kai glanced at Meghan and nodded. "Sure, go ahead..." Then he looked back towards Misa and sighed quietly. "Fine, he's Kaori's though. His name's Kei and he's sleeping so don't wake him," he added a bit more sternly. Then he leaned back against the tree again, running his free hand through his hair as he closed his eyes. His tail kept wrapping and unwrapping itself continually around the tree behind him, but he ignored it, letting it act on its own like always. Right now, he just wanted to sleep. He hadn't since he'd come here and watching Kei sleep for so long made him sleepy too.

"Arigato," she said softly to Kai as she picked up the book. She turned through the pages in curiosity; Misa had said it explained some human things, but she'd never the majority of anything in this book. Chris Rock... she thought, Where... have I heard that name before? She had stopped a quarter way to the end and kept staring at the paper, lost in thought.

"Thanks. And ok.." Misa said as the words processed into her brain to remember. She started petting it being careful not to awake. It had such soft scales. It felt like a lizard. Misa signed as she was petting it. She now peted extra carful now Kai was trying to sleep. And she kept petting.

Kai nodded, peeking one eye slightly open to watch Meghan. At first he wondered what she could possible be doing, but then frowned as a thought dawned on him. Was it possibly to trigger some memories? He shook his head, wondering if that was it, but not wanting to interrupt her thoughts by asking about it. He glanced towards Kei as the dragon snuggled further into his side, blowing a small bit of smoke from its nose as Misa began pettting him. Then he yawned and closed his eyes again. He felt ready to pass out at any minute.

She continued staring at the book for a few moments, her eyes still. Suddenly, she closed her eyes and shut the book with the one hand that held it, almost as though she was agrivated. She sighed. She bent down and placed the book next to Kai. "Arigato, again, Kai-kun," she said softly before standing back up and leaning against the tree.

Misa signed. She gave Kei one last soft pet and sat down by Kai on the other side of him. She signed again and then looked toward Meghan. "Do you like my information? I could provide you one..."Misa whispered.

Her eyes shot open, almost threatening. She looked out of the corner of her eyes at Misa. "No, that's okay," she said gently, trying not to sound harsh. There's something about that book that gives me the chills.. i'm not sure i if don't like it, or if i know deep down to stay away from it... she thought, hugging herself.

Kai nodded slowly, eyes still shut, as he heard Meghan set the book back down and thank him. Then as Misa sat next to him, he shifted uncomfortably, but otherwise didn't change at all. Next he caught a strange feeling from Meghan and cracked one eye open again, glancing at her. "...you alright?" he asked quietly, turning his head slowly towards her as he suppressed another yawn.

Misa shrugged at her answer then looked at Kai. He looked asleep but she didnt know if he is asleep. She was going to say something but stopped so he won't get mad. It's weird how I am about to do something that will get Kai mad but I don't do them anymore... Misa signed and stayed silent.

She shook her head. "No, I'm fine, Kai-kun," she sighed. She looked down at him. "Why? Do I look troubled?" she asked, tilting her head. Did I do something to make him worry? she thought. She thought she didn't do anyting, but didn't know why Kai was asking if she was okay.

Misa still slient got restless but stayed where she is. "Yep you do looked troubled. Is my book troubling you? Maybe I should take it away?" Misa asked. With that, she leaned over Kai and rasie out her hand so she can give the book to her. She looked at Kai and then took her hand back without the book and stayed sitting where she was next to Kai. "Sorry about that...Leaning over you without permission.." Misa apoligzed.

She shook her head. "I'm not troubled you two, don't worry," she laughed. She smiled halfheartedly at them. "Besides, a book like that wouldn't get me upset, nothing to worry about," she said softly. Whoops. Hope I didn't offend Misa-san... she thought, having said the book wouldn't phase her.

"Ok, just wondering. Bored over here. So whats intresting in meh book?" Misa asked. She comed down and was slient once again.Misa yawned. Misa was as much as tired as Kai was..

She shook her head. "I hadn't read it. Just thinking about something and left it open, I guess," she sighed. "Hey, are the two of you tired?" she asked, hearing Misa yawn and Kai with his eyes closed. "Why don't the two of you go to sleep?" she asked, wondering why they were still there if they were sleepy
