I personally hate to judge anything... but if no one else will.... I will
As for the banner art, why not make a sticky on the opening page? That way people could submit their works and after sometime, leave it to a guild vote? The top three go under more formal judging process?

Otherwise, you could always go and advertise in the wanted art forum, or browse the mini-shops.

I actually thought popping in over there and seeing how long it would take for someone to tell me I was going to Hell might help brighten my root-canal dampened mood... twisted
Ah... but I suppose that isn't very Christianly of me anyway... rolleyes
I probably just need to go to bed and see if I am in a more grace inspired mood tomorrow. sweatdrop

Also I've had a not so good history with people in that guild. If they want to advertise anywhere else or through PMs, they are more than welcome to, just not in this guild.

You know, when I saw that post, I figured that would be the fate of that thread... rolleyes And when it was said, "ALL the Christians of Gaia..." All I could think about was Christian Youth conventions full of kids who were convinced Christianity was the 'in thing' yet had not been taught properly, what Christianity was about... Mass gangs of kids telling all the other kids they are "Doing it wrong!" It makes me want to spit at the people of my teen years... If your fellowship isn't enough to get me to join you, then you probably don't need to be bribing folks to fellowship. I was in a mood to confront some folks earlier though. Thought it might be entertaining to see how much love they might show a heretic... but I'm over that now. Yeah, I guess I am failing today... I should probably lay down and end this day, and so I can wake up in a better attitude. Tomorrow is gym day after all, and I always feel good after a good work-out.

I told them why I deleted the thread, then claimed they weren't advertising and then proceeded to accuse me of not being Christ-like for telling them that I didn't appreciate them advertising in my guild, especially without a mod's permission, and that she wasn't welcome to do so.

Anytime you plug another guild, it really is just common courtesy to get a mods permission in the guild where you plug at... rolleyes ... even if there are no written rules stating it.
That was definitely advertising, and shameless at that... We are having contests! We need more People! Come join us! NUMBERS!

Sometimes stirring up the pot is good. It's how you get people thinking and keep away from complacency. Complacency is how you get trapped in ruts, especially faith ruts.

Congratulations!!! You are AMAZING! emotion_kirakira I can know something by heart, but as soon as someone says "Exam", "Finals", or "TEST"... I turn to goo... I somehow made it through school with only one "D" on a report card, and that was because I deliberately protested an assignment by not doing it (in 5th grade rolleyes ) ... But when it came to tests, I didn't ever do as well as I should have. I actually had a Science teacher who would give me "Extra Credit" essays, to help bring my score up to what she felt I should be getting. She was awesome. She would let me sleep in her class, and one day, when a bunch of people were complaining about it, she made me go up to the front of the class and do a presentation on what the chapter we were studying was about. At the end, she said that anyone who could explain to the class in depth about what we were studying at any given time was welcome to sleep in her class, AS LONG as they could prove they knew the material. After that, people would periodically approach her and ask to give a presentation at the beginning of class so they could sleep like I did... LOL

LOL It isn't tests that is normally my biggest flaw, it is having to stand up in front of people and giving presentations or having someone standing over my shoulder watching my every move. Which makes me nervous for next quarter, I start internships... sweatdrop burning_eyes The good part is with those three A's(I got a third yesterday on a final), I am now in a position of graduating from college with honors... and an associates degree, my mom's dream.. If I don't screw up internships...

Rob, question... or anyone can answer... do you know of any books websites what not that tells of the missing or lost years of Jesus? The time between say age 12 to 30. I have been trying to find things to learn about; that, mitrochondria, and the hCG diet are the three that I am researching now... And I am not finding a whole lot on the first two p.s. wiki doesn't help as a good source
