"Where we.." She squeezed her eyes close and frowned. Then opened them and looked him in his eyes, her expression sad.
"I don't know what we where or are. I do know what we can't be, and it seems you are going to make this difficult.."
She leaned against a tree, fighting was easy, taking a punch, didn't hurt, she could even handle the headaches brought on by magic, but this, giving up something most people take advantage of, this was almost impossible for her.

I look at her and grab her hands. " I don't remember much about you . . . Its vague. . . but I do know how i felt about you. . . And i still feel that way." I frown and look down at the ground. "if you don't want this then so be it. . . But i care about you Kahlan."

"I-I do wa-" She boldly grabbed ahold of him and smashed her lips to his, she hadn't felt this way in so long.
s**t! No!
She tore herself away just as quickly, her wings exploding out of her back, she jumped up and hovered ten feet off the ground. She couldn't do this it would be best if she just left, She could make this easy on all of them and just go. But..

I hear the beep, and hop out. I head over to it. A huge mass covering my Frontal and Parietal lobes. I look back to the door. Police central I am sure. I look at the wall. I am stuck. How was that magic thing supposed to work anyhow? I stare at the wall, and then I go at it, I punch through it into the next exam room. Oops. "WE ARE DELIVERING A BABAY!!!" The woman screams at me. Oops. I skip out of there and for the exit. Then, i see a spirit like person. White hair, and a white tail and ears.
"Axel?" I knew him, I had seen him in dreams. "Axel, Wolfgang, father to Vincent Wolfgang through the Noringer name?" He nods, holds a hand up, and in a flash me and him are before Kahlan. Who seemed mad. He turns to me. I thought you had died a century or so ago!"
"I did, but my consciousness had never faded, nice jacket by the way, I gave it to you when you were younger. You don't remember, do you? I should now that. Still, cell mates to the end?" I look at him. "What?"

"Axel?" Helena looked up from her book, one she had read almost 40 times now, it was one he had given her back when he was alive.
Is it really him, and what is he doing near Dresden?
Not wanted to lose time should it really be him, she opened a portal to the location and stepped through.
The scene around her was interesting, a woman with a young appearance was hovering on black and white wings mumbling to herself looking distraught. It was a look Helena understood well. Below her was a very confused looking elf, he was touching a hand to his lips blushing. Then, she saw him, it was Axel or at least it appeared to be him, next to him was a human.
"Axel!" Helena ran for him preparing to wrap her arms around his waist, it had been so long.
"Ouf! She hit the tree behind him instead. "Wha?" She was confused, "So your not..? Wha?" she backed away slowly, he was dead after all, how else would she go straight through him. She turned then and ran.
Kahlan heard the exclamation and watched, when the woman took off she followed and stopped her about 20 yards away. She didn't know why, maybe it was he angelic nature or the fact that she too was hurting, but she wrapped her arms around the woman.
"It's okay, you'll get through this." She whispered over and over in the woman's ear.

I look up at the man. I knew, I knew everything, I look to Kahlan, and to.. Helena. I look back to the one who raised me, my father by all accounts. "Go, see her, you have been apart to long." He smiles at me and mouths the words thank you. "I will be waiting here" I fight back tears towards the man whom had helped me.

Helena, was all I could think. I jump from where I had been and land five feet away. "Helena? Is it you?! It feels like you." I look at her. "Is it..." I go to her, and wrap my hands around her, my being becoming solid as I do. I jut my head over her should, and kiss her cheek. "Its me, it is." I feel complete after so long. I had thought she had died. "I love you." I feel tears streak down my face.

Helena gripped the back of his shirt and forced him to kiss her straight on, "I've missed you so much, where have you been?" She hugged him even tighter to her, fearing he would disappear again, weeping from the sudden burst of emotion exploding from her chest. "I love you too, I love you, I love you, I love you."
Kahlan watched the reunion for a moment, but it was too much for her. Reminding her of her past and long dead love, and her current desire. It was too much for her. She slipped away, the only thing keeping her close enough was the part of her that longed for companionship. The rest of her wanted to go, and leave the pain behind. She didn't know what to do, it was becoming the same as last time.

I hold her to me. "Helena.... Lets let that go, we are together again, finally." I form my face to hers. "Its been much to long." Everything was heaven for me. This was my greatest day. "I love you...." God don't let this end.

I watch them. Oh... This was hard to watch. I find my way next to Kahlan. "Its hard to watch, and harder...." It was hard, I had also lost my wife due to things I couldn't control. "He is my father of sorts. Oh God..." i could feel the emotion from them. "Kahlan... I want you to know, whatever you do, Jarlaxle is right for you." I stand there. And then Axel sees me, and beckons me over. I look at Kahlan. "Come on, you are part of our circle now, almost part of the family."

Kahlan was reluctant but let him lead her over to the couple. He introduced her to them formally.
"Kahlan, what a lovely name" Helena beaming with happiness was being overly friendly.
"Um. Thanks." Kahlan didn't really know what to say, she was uncomfortable and felt like she was intruding on the reunion.
"You sure I can't just wait at camp??" She whispered in Jacques's ear.

I look at her. "Kahlan, get used to it. These two have been apart for a long time... Thats all. Just sit tight, they are some great people, at least, I know Axel is." I look at Helena. I never actually saw her, just knew about her from things Axle had told me. "I guess, I guess i should explain somethings about it first. Kahlan, you see, me and Axle are both experiments, me a genetic experiment and Axle a someother kind of experiment. We were kept together, they never thought we would band together and bust out. Well, we did. I was only ten then, and could never take care of myself with the way my body was going. He kept me alive till I was safe enough to do something else. Anyway, he wiped my memory when he had to leave, that way I was safe until he could positively come back. Obviously I wasn't the only one waiting for him." I nod. He smiles.
"Kahlan, huh? Nice name, I hope you stay long enough to meet us and talk. I am fascinated by halflings..." He smiles at Helena. I gag. He kicks me in the shin. Ow!

She was still uncomfortable, but sucked it up, she didn't want to ruin everyone one else's good time.
"How did you know?" She noticed his glance at her wings, Oh right, I forgot those were visible
She smiled and looked Axel over better. "Are you a Kitsune by any chance? You remind me of someone else, she is a great fighter, though sadly we always meet on opposing sides."
Helena look from Axel to Kahlan and back, "Is this person perhaps named Genevieve?"
"Yes why?" Kahlan turned and really looked at Helena for the first time, "Oh..oh s**t. Gena is your daughter?!"
That meant that this woman also had angelic blood in her, but she certainly wasn't all angel, a halfling like herself. I wonder what she is mixed with.
Helena hearing Kahlan's thoughts replied honestly, "Oh I am also a vampire, and yes my parents union was also frowned upon, but my mother wasn't as fortunate as your parents have been apparently."

I look back at Kahlan, rubbing my shin. "Obviously, ears, tail..." I Then comprehend it. "Oh, yeah, I knew that. You could've asked me!" I smirk. "Of course, you think that I am in the dark." I sulk. I was in a playful mood. "Hey, Axel, lets leave these girls and do some fight- Training..." Axel glances towards Helena in a kind of questioning/ pleading glance.

Helena laughed at his pleading look, "Go, go my silly man, just" she kissed him gently, "be sure to make it back." She smiled gently and watched them go.
"So my dear, your heart seems confused, more so then your head I see."
"Well, I guess so, but can we get something out of the way, how do you know all of this, I know I don't show that much emotion." Kahlan glanced at the strange woman getting stranger by the moment. She was nice, just...intimidating.
"Oh that, I'm sorry, it must seem like an intrusion but really you practically shoot your thoughts at me, I can hear your thoughts and emotions, and let me tell you, your's are loud."
"Damn, well that's quite something. So what are you hearing, I'm afraid I don't quite understand myself."
"Yes I can tell, and I will only tell you one thing. Go for it, you will not regret that choice, even if something where to happen, you will never regret it, but" She cocked her head slightly, " You already know that. You seem to have had someone before." Helena reached a reassuring hand toward Kahlan, causing Connor to leap from his hiding spot.
"Oh! and who is this? Your protector, hm, I had a friend like him once, he left me to travel with Gena..." A look of pain crossed Helena's face.
Kahlan didn't want to ask, she didn't have to, and for the next hour the women talked discussion their pasts and their lives as halflings.

We head to a small spot, then I crack my neck, my mailed gloves already on. He smiles, pulling two large crossbows out. "Those are new." I comment casually. He smiles, and then shows them off.
"I just got them before coming back, took some time to get them to work with me." I nod, I knew. "Okay, lets see, I never did erase those fighting skills, still have them?" I nod, and show him my gloves. "I see, its your weapon of choice then, nice." I get into a fighting stance. He loosely stands there waiting. He waits, and then strikes. He comes at me with the crossbows, and I easily dodge. "You are faster than I remember. good, transformation has started?" I nod. He comes at me faster, and easily catches my arm. i spin and fall to the ground. He laughs. I jump and catch his side with my boots, and he is sent flying. He growls as he gets up, and launches the bolts at me. I block them with my arms, and then run at him, already reloaded, he launches them at the same time, I am forced to dodge and attack from the side, but he blocks and I am forced back. "You fail! Who has been teaching you?1 I am sure you have had little training from whomever that is." I point at Kahlan. "Ah, so you have had no training yet, no intense training. Come on, fight me!"

Kahlan heard Axel's comment and leapt to her feet, "You a-"
Helena calmly grabbed her arm and sat her back down. "You should know by now that the Wolfgang's are famous for their smack talk and trying to anger all of their opponents to get their guard down in battle. In this case he isn't directly insulting you."
Kahlan didn't believe her but sat back down, her leg shaking slightly.
"Your agitated now," Helena mulled it over, "Oh! This is your demonic energy." She smirked the smile of her youth. "Would you like a battle, halfling to halfling?"
Kahlan smiled back, "Your on!"
They cleared a few tree's out of the way, they could replant them after.
They began with a traditional stare down, Kahlan knew a little about mind readers and concentrated on a brick wall, relying on instincts for the fight, lest Helena see all of her attacks.
"Ah, I knew you weren't untrained." Helena smiled and ran at Kahlan starting the match.
