"AH HATE THIS ********' DO'W'." He yelled. He always had something negative to say, so most wondered why they rely on such a short fuse. Truth is, he gets the job done, even if he has to vocally b***h and moan.
He swung the crowbar (BAR OF CROWS, BITCHES) in two circles, gripped it tightly, then kicked at the door, not even caring if it was open or not. He stepped through. Now he is someplace he is not supposed to be.
"Hurry yo' asses up!" He griped to the others. "Take forevah." Rolling his eyes, Ledreak waited. Observed the area, then waited some more.

Mika slipped though the door with the heroes and the Madriana morph. She was beside herself with excitement. She wanted to prove herself useful to Loki so badly.
And tonight she would.

A few minutes after most of the Heroes had entered The Door (hopefully), a couple of silhouettes had soared their way into the general vicinity. Masked against the ascending sun, Neros narrowed his eyes at the familiar sight below him, pounding his wings against the air to hover momentarily. He hardly had much of a hold on hovering, so he hardly held the stance for more than a moment before stretching his wings and exploring the air current he manipulated once more.
They were high, almost skimming the clouds as the clung to the current. Neros molded the current to his needs and a breath of wind magic spiraled downward. He smiled at how easily he could command magic. It took a mere intention, a force of the mind, and it happened. He wondered what more he could do with magic. He'd spent so much time playing with quintessence and human bodies that he'd never really experimented...
Neros circled, slowly descending from the coolness of the sub-empyrean toward the harshness of the earth. He explored the foundation for wherever the two could slip in. But that was a silly thought. He knew exactly where to slip in.
Neros fluttered as he approached the attic's window, slowing himself to catch onto the edge. There would not be any glass to obstruct it (courtesy of himself) so entrance was easy. Upon entering the darkness of the attic, he felt the sun's influence depart his skin and he breathed in the awful smell that permeated the area. Home. He was home. Grinning, Neros glided forward on his feet, stretching his wings. He glanced the area for a sign of a certain someone and grasped the bottle hidden within his robe.
Neros halted for a moment to await Vika's entrance, then proceeded. He whispered in such a low tone that hopefully only her raven ears could detect untransformed. "Follow my steps, there's supposed to be a gaping hole around here disguised to look normal..."
He led her around, then opened the hatch, hung upside down to examine the hallway, then dropped down and flipped onto his feet. Then Neros proceeded down the way. Everything felt far emptier to him now, and he could feel dread bleeding through. He didn't want to be caught by one of those powerful presence who had invaded the spirit's home. He just wanted one person. Neros darted down the emptiness, savoring its desolate freedom for as long as he could until they broke upon someone's aura.
He navigated the hallways with caution, checking each open room for a presence, creeping along stealthily. Every sense was open, wary, keen. He would know where danger lurked.
And quite suddenly, he realized he had reached the basement.
Perhaps he realized this, however, only because something powerful had spilled into the room, something with such a chokehold that he backed up in silent alarm. Neros backed up more, his mind reeling as he processed what he had come across. His heart beat but he kept his breaths quiet.
Neros lay low on the stairs, wings tightly folded, remaining away from the basement...for now.

I search for you in the dark......why do you hide? _____________________ Vika silently trailed Neros, keeping her keen raven eyes out for any signals from him. He was the brains of this organization - she trusted him to decide their actions carefully. He was far more adept, after all, and it wouldn't do the two well to die before they made it to their prize, now would it? Her wings spread, she coasted along the convenient current made for the two alone. The altitude gave her chills, though her iron determination towards her task kept her mind off of it.
A signal, and the wind immediately shifted. Vika glanced over at Neros; he seemed to be having such fun. He was kind of cute, really, having fun with his magic, and Vika would have been almost awed were they not on a more pressing mission. Her body shifted into a dive alongside his form, circling and eventually settling beside Neros when he was sated. He crept in; the raven followed. Immediately, a foul odor met her nose. She paid no mind to it. This was Neros's ground.
Barely audible. "Follow my steps, there's supposed to be a gaping hole around here disguised to look normal..."
She nodded. They slipped on further into the building. Her steps gave nothing of their position away, and his were even more silent. They crept along foreboding hallways, ears and eyes open for strangers. They went deeper and deeper...
They reached the basement. Almost instantly, Neros hesitated and then backed up...some terrible, disturbing force was nearby. He paused along the stairs.
Vika's breath was held, lest she give a sound. _____________________ Come out, come out, wherever you are~

Melethia's eyes opened slowly. A frown came across her face. Shento wasn't there. She sat up and looked around. There was no trace of Shento left. Melethia sniffed the air. His scent was still around, which was good for her. She put back on all of her clothes excpet for her dress. It was torn apart after the...fun her and Shento had. She grabbed her Dragon Fire tome and a Psychic staff just incase. She followed his scent right straight into the battle that was just beyond The Door.

(Listening to this as I post, possibly helpful to kick up some mood or shift in attitude.)
Neros only stilled himself, his breath suspended as his heart beat heavily in his chest. As he froze there with Vika right behind he could sense Melethia slipping by. He questioned whether or not she had noticed them, but seeing as she had gone through The Door, he supposed it didn't matter.
Neros forced his muscles to function. He crept forward once more, pushing against the sickening aura that had seized the whole room. His very image seemed to distort as he advanced toward The Door. There was a fair possibility that Vika would notice how transient the stability of his form was. His heart beat harder and louder, and it seemed to seep into his very mind, his head throbbing as he realized more and more what they were advancing on.
Not only was Mika beyond that thing, but there were others. There was a battle. He could hear the screams, the shrieks, the clashing...
He remembered...
Blood...
The aroma...the taste...the flesh, the bones, the fire, the coldness...
Neros found himself picking up the pace. Suddenly he was advancing in great strides, trying to see past the discordant portal, trying to see what was on the other side. His wings spanned, the air shifting all around. Hatred manifested on his skin. He seemed to darken, his presence blacker and heavier, settling like a fog as he thrust The Door wide open.
Neros stared, eyes wide through the portal as a symphony of terrible noises washed over them. It was right in front of him. This damnable thing was letting him through for the second time, this thing that he'd studied and researched for so long when he used to be Soren —
Soren, who slammed men to the earth, swathing through with his magic — Soren, who found himself healing after the end of the Mad King's War, convincing himself he existed, he had a purpose, he belonged — Soren, who fell to Learania, still convinced he had a purpose until he realized he was no longer home, who screamed in the grass and cursed the sky — Soren, who tried to find his way home, and for it only gained agony and irreparable scars — who learned to love and learned what loss truly was, who learned to loathe and learned what a blessing truly was, who learned...learned everything...lost...lost...
Lost...
Neros launched through The Door, propelled by a malevolent, bloodthirsty wind.
