Sarena heard Lysander's words as he wandered past. She chewed her bottom lip as she walked quickly down the hallway and back into her room, closing the door behind her. She wasn't sure how to feel at the moment.

Those words were probably the best words she had ever heard. The words that she was too skinny instead of the usual 'not skinny enough'. But it was still the critisizm she got every day. It still hurt that she couldn't be accepted, for once she couldn't be good enough. She then made the decision of going to therapy, but in a different way then she was supposed to.

She stormed down the halls and pushed open the therapy room door.
"Ah, Sarena. Take a seat." "No." ".. Ookay then how about yo-" "Listen, this may be the only time you'll ever get me to talk in here so listen close because I'm not repeating a damn thing." The therapist blinked slowly at the young model. "Wanna know why I'm here?
Because I'm not perfect and my d**k of a father can't learn to accept that. My skeletal mother doesn't get the clue either, and both of them are just flabbergasted that I would even consider the possibility of ending my shallow life!" With that she stepped out of the office and slammed the door shut behind her, racing up the stairs so the Therapist couldn't make her come back. She ran all the way up to the roof, taking a deep breath as she stepped over towards the ledge.

Lysander had gone to the roof, leaning against the ledge, trying to find his pack of Lucky Strikes. Those bastards! They took his cigs! He sighed, about to get up and go, when the skinny girl burst through the door, heading straight for the ledge. Lysander, knowing that look in her eye, grabbed her by the arm.
"Oi. You got a f**?"

Sarena was caught off guard by Lysander, having not seen him up here. At first it took her a moment to realizing what he was asking, but soon she understood. The model didn't smoke, but her wack neighbors had given her a pack when they called the ambulance. She remembered the freak telling her to smoke the whole thing, claiming it would calm her nerves. "Uh .. I think so." She remmebered shoving them in a pocket as she packed her clothes but she didn't remember which pants. She reached into her back pocket and felt the pack, pulling it out slowly. "Here. Take the whole thing."

Lysander took the pack, smiling slightly.
"Thanks. Bloody bastards took my pack."
Lysander resumed his place against the railing, lighting the cigarette. He took a few drags, then looked at the model.
"Name's Lysander. Just call me Lye. So... why would a pretty girl like you want to jump off a building?"
Lysander took another long drag and breathed out the plume of death, leaning his head back as he did so. The smoke billowed up in a pillar, fading off behind Lysander. He kept looking up, staring at the sky. It was really pretty...

Sarena laughed softly. "Those were in my luggage, I guess they don't check that." She stepped over to the ledge and leaned against it, crossing her arms against her chest. "I'm Sarena. Call me whatever you want." She watched the smoke float to the sky for awhile before she answered. "Let's just say life as a model isn't exactly what it seems. Especially when your born into it without a choice."

Lysander snorted. He loved it when people said that.
"Please. There's always an option. They might be bad, they might be considered unthinkable, but there's always an option. For instance: violence. It may not be the best option, but it's still an option. Beat your parents until they're silly. Or, there's the whole 'I don't want to be a model and be subject to your humiliation, blah blah blah, so I'm running away' nonsense. There's lots of different options. Just sometimes they aren't good ones. For instance, you were planning on making your own option just now: death. Although, if you think about it, half of your options end in death anyway..."
Lysander made a face, head now sitting normally, looking off to the side. He was thinking of all the moments he could have had an option leading to death. A lot of the time, he took that option without thinking of what could happen or anything. Huh.

Sarena laughed. "You have a very interesting thought process. I could never beat my parents, 1) my father is much bigger than me, although I could take my mother. And 2) I rarely see my parents, usually I'm with my trainers. You can't really run away when your under constant watch. But your ideas are very interesting. I wish I had your ideas before, I could've tried some of them. Although, I do not think death is my only option. I just figured it'd be easier." She turned to face him, watching his expression curiously.

At hearing her response, he shook his head and snickered.
"Ah. So you're a coward."
Lysander felt that those that took the easy way out of things were cowards, which was why he was always doing things the hard way. Even if it wasn't good, he still took the harder choices, so that way he wouldn't consider himself a coward. Lysander was a very confusing person. Then again, he wasn't exactly sane, either.

Sarena chuckled at his response, her fingers trailing through the blue part of her hair. "Ahah, a lot of people are actually. It's not surprising you'd meet a least one coward here, let alone me. In fact I think most of the people here are cowards. That's usually how you end up in rehab, running away from something and ending up tripping." Her head lolled to the side as she continued her rant in her head.

Lysander rolled his head back, nodding. Hm, so she was intelligent as well? Hmmm....
"Hm... in fact, you're probably right. I think I might be an exception, though... I wasn't running from something, I was running towards something. My father to be specific... with a fist... it's how I got this shiner on my eye."
Lysander pointed at the black eye, then resumed his nonchalant gaze to the sky, small smile gracing his lips as he reminisced of pounding his father's face. Ah, family.

Sarena was happy at the moment, talking to someone with sugh a high degree of intelligence. It was comforting to knnow the world was not filled entirely with idiots. She examined his eye with a smile as she chuckled. "So you took your earlier advice literally. 'Beat your parents until they're silly.' .... Is that why your here?" She was curious now as to what his story was, though she doubted he'd tell her.

Pheebe Elise Magrill
Pheebe walked around the building, not in a mood to be social or anything else for that matter. So Pheebe walked to her room. She pulled on a pair of black short spandex shorts and a grey hoodie with the word 'Cypress Springs High' on it, her old high school. She walked to the living room, sat down and watched tv. First she browsed the channels, trying to find something a tad bit intresting, she settaled with blues clues. She liked blues clues. That dog was adorble. During the show she desided it wasnt enough to catch her attention. So she walked to her room and grabbed her laptop. She intantly connected to the wifi and surfed the web, cheaking her gaia accont. (( tehee, i had to(: ]]

Nathan Joseph Magrill
Joesph walked to his thrapy session. He sat down and answered a few basic questions, but not reveling any regular information. The therapist look relived. "Had to many freaks?" Nathan asked. "Everyone keeps going off on me, long day." The therapist said, Nathan laughed. "None of them are used to this, except Pheebe. She forced me to be good." Nathan laughed and got up. "Nice to meet you miss." He said and walked out. The session was okay, nothing extrreme. Nathan noticed Pheebe watching blued clues and sat next to her. "Hey sis." Pheebe smiled at him.

Lysander shrugged.
"That was the final straw. And I don't beat on my mum. Just my father. Part of it was my anger problems and the other was all my various mental problems. All in all, my family decided that I needed to get some help, so they sent me here. Damn wankers."
Lysander finished the cigarette quickly, flicking it behind him. Sure, it was still lit. Yeah, it might hurt someone. But that was if Lysander cared. Lysander lit another cigarette and puffed away. He needed more nicotine.

Andrew walked around the house away from Jackie now, he didn't know what to do. It was basically a mental hospital if he thought about it the right way. Turning down hallways, aimlessly looking around and taking his time seeing white walls with pictures on them he thought about how everything that had happened since he entered the building, there was nothing to do except see the therapist and talk to the other insane people that were in the building. He saw phoebe in the living room and walked in and laid himself out on the love seat that was in the room. With a plop he was on the couch watching Blues Clues with her. Andrew looked back to her,"And the world asks' why? haha."
