Gaian Age :: 6 years come October. It makes me feel so old! D :
Artistic Ambition :: I'm an art student pulling a dual major in illustration and digital art/programming.
Because it's no fun unless I suffocate in classes. < 3
Addictions :: The German Language. Textures. Curves. Role-playing. Avoiding self injury [ Clumsy ]. Color blue.
Complex backgrounds [ If only I could do them ]. Speed Painting. My cat. < 3
Horrifying :: The spiders that seem to like gathering in my socks. D :< Attempting to take on complex backgrounds.
Tablets breaking down. Lack of ability to spell. Drawing chibis. [ I don't know why I try. ^ ^;; ] The need to sleep. The movie The Grudge. ; _ ;
Cream Soda :: Is my main substance, or at least I wish it was. ; 3;
I started off as an amature artist but mostly an art collector on a seperate account.
But moved to this one a few years ago after closing down the small traditional art shop I had.
Over the past year I've been able to get my own computer, tablet, and learned how to use photoshop
tools enough to know that the brush tool is not the only tool. [ Though it is still the best ]
I'm pretty bloody excited to get to see some more work from some of my favorite Gaian artists.

So my art work isn't great yet, but I do intend to work on it. x]
Uhmm, oh yeah! I'm seventeen years old and, if my avie is confusing, I'm a guy. biggrin
I'm also Filipino and I'm up for any type of challenge/fun. :]
Oh! And I aspire to be a Landscape Architect!
"What does art have to do with Landscape Architect?" you ask? Well, for one, it helps me think outside the box. (Creativity) It also teaches me about controlling something that could turn out to be a chaotic mess. (Organization) It teaches me that it takes time to create something beautiful and, seemingly, above your level. (Patience) It also teaches me that there are no limits to my abilities. (Confidence)

I'm currently an art student at an art school. (Just finished my 1st year)but I know I still have a long way to go.
I can do any kind of art, traditional and digital too.
I go a lot to hospital because of my health problem so I'm trying to make a living of my art
So that I won't cause any "problems" to my parents.
I want to pay them back for their kindness to raise me.

Other stuff: I'm a graphic art student at Senca College in Toronto, Canada. I love to sing and listen to good jams for really long periods of time. I am a total nerd, geek, what have you, and I love to make new friends and play lots of video games!
I'm really mellow and down to earth and have been called a "tree huggin' hippie" one too many times....My interest are constantly changing but at the moment I do have an addiction to sweet tea and Bollywood music :3

I'd prefer not to tell my age, I'm sorry! But I have been on gaia for two years. I have been drawing for two years. I'm in middle school. I've got more than half of my life left to live. That's lots of time right? emo
I prefer using pencils, pens, and paper, but I recently got a tablet. I'm hoping to be more skilled with it later on in life. >__<
I draw better when I have a reference; for some reason, it's hard for me to draw something out of the blue. Well, unless I've seen a picture of what I'm planning to draw beforehand. But that won't count as out of the blue anymore, huh? D:
I can critique drawings better than I draw. >__> I can tell you what's wrong with anatomy, weird looking parts, etc. But..it is harder than it looks. Drawing, I mean. D: It doesn't take a day, as much as people I know would like to believe.

I carry my sketchbook, Itouch, and pencil case everywhere. Even to school.

Hello everyone, I'm Mew Mew Power Renee, Mew Mew for short, since my name is too long! XD I'm a 16yr. old artist, whom lives in Pennslyvania. I draw when I can, because my life is a little unorganized, but I do doodle all the time.
Since my scanner hates me, I can't scan pictures, unless I: Scan to mothers computer>email it to me>edit on Paint tool SAI...too much for a lazy person. I'd better with tradtional art than digital, but I do love to color with digital, I just suck at free drawing and hands and I need help making up poses.
I've joined to met other artist, and perheaps try to get out of my shy nature, since I don't talk too much. I'm a great chibi artist I've been told, and I'm okay with Sonic style art. I think that's about it...HUZZAH!!! xd

I was first inspired to start drawing through amazing Gaian artists that I'd met, and honestly I was shocking at it. It's been about 3 years since then, and after spending all my time in Art Freebies making friends and sharing what I'd learnt, I think I'm starting to get somewhere.
My ultimate goal when I started drawing was to give as much of my art away to those who couldn't afford it as I can, but now, after having given hundreds of pieces away and countless hours, I'm starting to move towards making profit from my art. Of course, I couldn't stop giving freebies in the meantime if I tried, I love it so much. <33
As for buying art, I'm addicted. As a freebie artist it has always been very difficult for me to attain the funds necessary for art whoring, so I've had to rely a lot on kind freebie artists, RL$ sellers, and amazing friends. ♥
My OC's were already important to me before I joined Gaia, but the art I have received of them makes them more and more special to me after every piece.
They, quite honestly, are my life right now. I can't imagine who I'd be without them, and I have Gaia artists to thank for that.
So, thank you, Gaia. ^^
