How about we get going on this again, everyone?
We need to fill in the posts in the Town Hall. I can do that, I just need to check a few things first:
Housing: -New grads live in the Inn for at least 1 term before moving to their RA. -Those who already graduated a while ago can move straight into their RA if they wish. -[Should there be a limit for staying in the Inn, say 2 or 3 terms? (So it doesn't get crowded and the RAs don't stay empty.)]
Aging: -Choose your age at the end of each term (roughly every 3 months). Post in the Inn or your House's RA (wherever you're living) if you wish to change your age. [We originally said PM Angil, but I don't think we should have grads PM people info in case someone becomes inactive.] -Current age should maybe just be recorded in each RA and the Inn (ie wherever you're living). -Can choose to have a child (1?) 2 terms after graduating. After 1 more term, that child is 11 and starts as a student. When they graduate, choose which character to RP with.
Shops: -First come, first serve. -10 spaces open. -No repeat shops, and please try to think of ones that will encourage RP. -If your shop is inactive for more than __ weeks, it may be deleted/moved if there is someone else waiting for a space to open a shop. -[Can you open a shop as soon as you graduate or did we decide you have to wait a term?]

Sorry, I haven't posted in here. I read through what you wrote Lyra, I just haven't had a spare second with the HM and all lately but, I'm working on that. I'll post as soon as I can. This is very important to me, it hasn't been forgotten.

Okay, sorry this took me so long.
Housing: -Yes, at least one Term should be spent in the Inn beofre moving to the RA's. -Agreed. -Yeah. I don't think anyone should stay in the Inn more then 2 Terms, that should be enough time to decide what everyone what's to do for their house and their age, etc.
Aging: -Yeah, I agree. A term is fine. Posting or PMing the House's RA making be done to change your age as well. -Agreed. -Agreed. (What if people want to have twins or something? They wouldn't all have to be wizards or witches, maybe one could be a squib or something).
Shops: -Agreed. - Agreed (This can always be changed later on.) -Agreed. How about, if a Shop is not active for a term then it maybe moved or deleted? That way the "owner" should have more then enough time to post all they want to. -(I think we said you could get a job but you couldn't own a shop until you had been in the Inn at least one term.)

Thanks for replying Tina. I'll edit all the posts in the Town Hall early next week since all of my big assignments are due Monday (18th).

No problem. Sorry it took so long. I'll help too. I really need to get on the ball and just finish. I've been working on banners at the moment. Trying to spruce things up a bit.
After that, I'll be getting to work on the Inn/Pub and finishing p the RA. I just get a little nervous whenever we have an event, the HM, and classes with everything else going on. I feel like this has to come last until something is over. Plus, you know what's been going on with me in rl so... yeah.

I don't think there's too much rush to get this set up. The HM, events, and other mod duties come first.
I'm not sure about the twins thing. I think that just starts making it too complicated again.
I agree about the shops.
Would you possibly be able to help me write the intro for the Ravenclaw RA? Everyone else has written something cool and kind of different, but I have no idea where to start. I know it's not your RA, but I don't really know who to ask. I've never been a writer.

Agreed.
I think that depends on the person who's "having the child".
Okay.
Yeah, Lyra, I'll try, not much of a writer myself but, I'll give it a shot and see what I can come up with.

Thanks Tina.
I've started editing the Town Hall thread, and just thought of something about the shops. The first 10 can just be set up, but after that how do we know who is waiting for a space to become available? (if a shop becomes inactive) Should we have people PM or post somewhere that they would like to create one, and they can then be put on a waiting list? But where should they post? Also, The Three Broomsticks Pub is NOT included in the 10 spaces available, right? (since it will always be there).
Should I explain about "knocking" before entering another's house in the Town Hall thread, or leave that to the RAs? I don't want to make the Town Hall posts too cluttered or confusing.

No problem. I'll PM you with something as soon as I can.
I think I could make a post about this in the Inn/Pub. I mean it is suppose to be the hub of everything, besides the Town Hall. I know, we are trying to keep that uncluttered. I'll make a post in the Inn/Pub saying if you want your own shop and you would like to sign the waiting list, PM me (or one of us) and we can edit that post. No, the Pub shouldn't be included.
Honestly, it's kind of confusing. So, even though we are trying to keep everything less confusing and cluttered, I think it should be in both the RA's and the Town Hall.

Maybe I'll mention "knocking" in the town hall so that people know they need to, but leave it to the RAs to go into detail if necessary.
Yeah, that should work (about the waiting list). If it doesn't we can always try putting it in the town hall either at the end or with the other info about shops.
Should I put something about the park somewhere? I want to let people know that it's an area where everyone can chat and RP together. We almost need a "miscellaneous" post in the town hall where we can post things like that. I'm sure we'll get an accumulation of random information as people settle into the subforum.
I wonder when we can open it? I need to finish the park still, and the Ravenclaw RA. But that shouldn't take too long, and the Town Hall is doing ok now.

That sounds good Lyra. (Knocking)
It should be fine, since everyone has to come through the Inn for one reason or another, it should be okay. And your right, we can always post it in the Town Hall, if we have to.
Yeah, we should have a misc. section, your right, we are bound to have something else come up that doesn't fit in, in one exact place in the Town Hall. But, to answer your question, yes, I would mention the Park.
It's going to be a while. As soon as FW is over, I'm going to finish off the Gryffy RA, the Inn, and the Pub. The Graveyard is finished except for a few banners.

So, this is what I came up for Ravenclaw. I think it's a really good start and if you want to add something special in you can Lyra.
Quote: Welcome to Eagle’s Glen! On the outskirts of Hogsmeade is are four Residential Areas. Each is named after one of the Founders of Hogwarts. Eagle’s Glen is clearly named after Rowena Ravenclaw and for the House she created. It sits nestled between Brock’s Valley and Godric’s Hollow. This is where all the Graduates of Hogwarts that where in the House of Ravenclaw live. The streets, light polls, and sidewalks are decorated in Blue and Bronze. Inside each House is a family that continues to live daily life always keeping in mind “wit beyond measure is a man’s greatest treasure.”
