Reeve frowns, picking himself up and dangling his legs off the side of the bed.
"Here's a question: Is it safe for me to fight?"

She cocked her head to the side at his confusion, but didn't let her thoughts linger on it for long.
She looked at his back one more time.
"Nothing in the seal to restrain you from fighting. But it looks remotely activated, so use your best judgment on who you can fight I guess. The injuries will just feel weird till the cells grow through the bio-gel the machine filled them with. "
She opened the door they had entered through.
"You can practice back outside. If you're paranoid about something I could probably let you use the training ground outside this lab, it's probably a bit out of range of triggering the seal, though I'm not exactly sure with something like that. All I have is what I've used before here and what I could get from Neko's seal library; but back then I didn't have enough space on this by itself to copy it all."
She tapped the eyepiece. She then rubbed the back of her neck.
"So sorry that I'm not exactly able to help with that too much from a sealing point of view."

"I, uhh.. that's fine and all," Reeve says, kicking his feet a bit before sliding off. "I just wonder if I'll be better or worse."

"Well...."
Lina twitched and swung her hand towards Reeve. Her usual sphere shaped attack in hand. A glance would show the barrier stronger then usual, meaning if she hit it'd be like someone had slammed a basketball in his face versus a bug zapper.

Reeve ducks under her hand, hopefully letting it pass over his head before springing up and thrusting his fingertips at her throat. He stops short, his eyes blazing emerald.

A crackling barrier in the form of armor, opaque every but her face had formed around Lina the moment Reeve started to Retaliate.
"Hmm, a bit mechanical there, but I think that answers your question."
The sphere dissipated and she waited, perfectly calm.

Reeve sighs, collecting himself.
"Sorry- I can handle myself, but I'm kinda afraid to use jutsu yet. Anyway...what happens now, doc?"

She chuckled.
"Well considering you're walking, and it was suppose to be outpatient you're free to go."
"So any plans with what you'll do with your returned freedom?"

"I guess I could leave again... Iri says she saw my kid around here not too long ago, and I do need to find him. But I notice the roster is kinda short lately. Do you think I should stick around and help out?"
Reeve rubs the back of his head.
"You know," he digresses, "I remember when you got here. I didn't think days like this would come."

"It's your choice if you stick around or not. I'm only here because I felt I owed this place something for what training I've received. I mean I have a few friends here still, but I'm not exactly too willing to be allied with any of the leaderships around here. One for it's stupidity, and the other two just due to their attacks"
She cocked her head to the side with a smirk.
"Didn't think I'd be the only Rai user around reliably? Or that I'd be showing off advanced technology when I had been saying I couldn't find my first home?"
She tilted her head back.
"I found it after all, same place that journal I found a few weeks into coming here I found the old gateway crystals, tried to open a portal through the ring I attacked your armor with... Nothing there anymore, and I mean literally nothing... just empty space now"

"I get the feeling you know and understand a lot more than me at this stage in the game," Reeve says. "I wasn't being specific... I mean, just all of it, is a shock. I don't remember most of my recent past. But d'you realize, I am the only one left out of my graduating class, and I was easily a D student. Dark times indeed."

"Yeah, might be right, though what I know right now is chaotic in it's usefulness."
She tilted her head.
"I can't speak for the usefulness of classes. If you live long enough you pick things up as you need them. Someone else explaining what you need to know based off what they needed to know never has worked for me beyond a few tricks that might be let out."

He folds his hands behind his head as he walks toward the door.

"Like you wouldn't believe. Ishira's the only member of the family I see anymore, and even then I hadn't seen her in so long..."
"Hex, Angel, Sauko"
She shook her head.
"And those were just direct family members I got along with"
"Largo, Cloud, Luther, Kitsu" she nearly spat the last name. "Laiya, Sypruss Sir and Nina"
