In Roleplay terms Ash is a Gary Stu, the perfect guy. Sure he may lose a battle or two, but most of the time he wins. It is so annoying. stare

Well you can't have a main character that sucks now can you? I mean you can have a sidekick like Dawn that sucks but, not a main character.

True, but he shouldn't see every ledgendary pokemon...and pretty much everyother pokemon, no matter how rare.

I think it's annoying when I decide to play as the bad guy and last through like 4 posts before getting killed or sealed away for ever. (Even when I ask the people to let me develop the character.) It makes me feel like the villain from the Iron Man movie, you know... uh... who was he again?

Pikachu is NOT the most powerful pokemon ONLY BECAUSE they keep killing down his powers.
We should start a pokemon rp that requires you to LOVE the series to the point of hating it for what it's become. =D Just so that we have a good pokemon series.

I remember coming to the end of that one Pokemon movie where May was being really annoying and there was something about some underwater city.
I just recall seeing everyone flying and going, "WTF? When did they go Super Sayin?!"
I can do villains but I rather like being the evil intellegent villain who works more in the background with minions and nicely putting things into motion with plans, double crosses, and treachery. Then sit back and rub my hands like Mr. Burns going. "Excellent. Dance puppets dance!"

Yeah, I've never had that problem with villains, which I normally play, because I tend to take a subtle approach.
Not that that can't be foiled. If you make your villainous intentions evident even in narrative or character thought, people have their characters pick up on it.
"Wow, that guy seems really nice. But somehow I sense he's going to kill us all!"
It's happened to me. u_u
More often than not I just play non-murderous antagonists, because my typical genre is more down to Earth I think. As opposed to having any serious intent to take over the world or kill people, they just kind of act as bitter rivals and obstacles in the heroes path to having healthy self-esteem, raining on the protagonists parade and constantly picking fights.
Fun stuff in itself. >.>

Yea XD that made me laugh. I mean on top of the fact he magically started flying, but an under WATER city have him the ability XD. -pulls out pokeball- ASH! I choose you! -throws and a flying Ash pops out-
I agree =3 that's why I don't explain my character's plans when I play evil plz. atm I only have 1 evil character though. She's awesome and is trying to trick two of the "Chosen ones" That she's there to TEACH them XD. I haven't explained the fact that she's planning on gaining their trust and then using her powers to turn them against the others >=3 iz gonna be awesome!
